  1. Gallery The Great Scorpion is My Own Creation I built in LDD. However, it's possible to recreate it with real pieces.
  2. The biggest Beast seen yet, this Hydra Beast is not one to take lightly! With four heads that spew knockout gas, corrosive liquid, molten lava, and electricity enough to shut down a Hero, this proves that four heads are tougher than one!
  3. Created from the mechs of Evo, Stormer, and Furno, this combiner mech is ready for anything!
  4. Since Hero Factory first started, I wondered how it could be connected with Bionicle. My current theory is that, after Mata Nui became dormant again, the Agori and Matoran needed a solution to their problems. Glatorian were too weak, and Toa were too few. Over hundreds of years, technology advanced, space travel was harnessed and new planets were discovered. It was then that an enterprising young Agori by the name of Akiyama Makuro finally developed a factory capable of building new warriors, known as Heroes. Do you have a different theory? Post it below!
  5. So a while ago( what was it, last year?) I had an idea, before the "Breakout" episode came out and the idea of a 'Villain Factory' wasn't so talked about in Hero Factory, I decided to build a drone 'prototype' for some bad guy army. Basically just wanted to use the canister-thing in the Nitroblast set as a helmet. It worked.. sort of.. and I went from there. Used some older 'Bionicle' parts on there as you can tell. The Skrall blade for an antennae, the Whenua Metru masks for the shoulder-pads(wish I'd done that better), and the Barraki feet. Mantax I think? I added the Hero Cuffs on later, once I'd gotten a hold of a Breakout set that included them. I think they were from Rocka's set. Man that was cool. It's been nearly a year since these were taken, but I wanted to share my creations anyway. Now that the computer is deciding to behave itself.. here they are! (I've resized the pics and for some reason they still keep coming out too big. Apologies in advance) Front: Back: Alongside Hero "Citrus" Using Citrus' cuffs against her I had a photo of "Citrus" on the ground after, but sadly it has been lost. And "Citrus" was your average Hero build with a foot on the back. Nothing special, but one of my favorites for some reason. Later, like December later, after "Breakout" had been released, I decided to get a little creative with my pieces. I looked at the Super Hero add-on part and thought 'hmm, what can I do with this?' So I did this: I hope I haven't posted this already! It's just a face with a mustache. And bling. Hope you enjoy, hopefully I'll have some new things to share(or new photos of new MOCs to share) very soon :)
  6. Pop pop ! Here comes an MOC I had forgotten for months. It's a Hero a friend and I designed back in Julk, which uses my DH entry's torso. Brickshelf / MOCPage Once again, comments and criticisms are appreciated. ;)
  7. What does the word “sky” mean on asteroids? Sky is the atmosphere right? So do they lack one? Or would it just be space and all its twinkling stars? The professor wondered these things as he walked up to the dusty, ruined door of the similarly dusty, ruined building. “Gash!” he yelled angrily. “Gash here reporting for duty, sir!” replied the hero, Gash, who was to be the professor’s bodyguard on this mission. Most heroes wouldn’t be very excited for a mission like this, but Gash was just happy to be back in the field, after his last two missions both resulted in… incidents. “I need you to break down this door.” “Sir, yes, sir!” Gash replied, knocking down the door. The professor coughed as dust filled the air from the old door. The two walked into the old building, finding the interior to look much more well kept than the exterior, but still it didn’t look like anyone had been there for a few weeks. “Gash, stay here while I see what’s in here.” “Sir, yes-“ “No more “sirs”!” “Yes sir- I mean, never mind!” The professor walked into what looked like a high tech lab. There were dozens of computer monitors, and a large chair in front of the biggest one that appeared to be on. He sat down and wiped the dust of the screen. The monitor had a single file on it. “Hmm” muttered the professor out loud as he snaked the cursor to the file and clicked it. The document appeared on the screen. He began to read it. It was not two weeks after I was assigned The Project that he arrived. He was Nick Evero, a hero on a recon mission for The Breakout. He came to this asteroid looking for escaped villains. Unluckily to him, my research was very important to my employer, so he had station several goons to protect me. They were quickly able to defeat him, locking him up in case he would be needed later. Unfortunately he would be needed. In those two weeks The Project had consumed my life, so it was that a week after Evero arrived the first prototype was ready. So it was decided that it would be tested on Evero. I was employed to create a life form, one that would be able to find other life forms, latch onto them and be able to control them. I was to create a Brain Slug. The first prototype was much different than the final design. The prototype had large, round, blind eyes that could only sense heat. It was also more slug-like, without legs. It had a beak, able to break into the victim’s head, in order to access the brain. We all gathered around the window of the room Evero was restrained in, and watched in grotesque fascination as the slug slowly, menacingly, crawled toward Evero. Finally it made it, latching onto him. At first nothing seemed to happen. The first prototype was branded a failure, and we went back to researching. But the first slug was anything but a failure. Over the next few weeks Evero was slowly mutated by the slug. It wasn’t until too late that we noticed. By the time we did the final version of the Slug was complete and we had packed up, ready to show it to my employer. As we got into our ship we heard the sound of metal being ripped to shreds. “Evero’s breaking free!” said the last one into the ship, panting. We quickly began to take off, hearing doors being ripped in half, clawed feet shredding the floor, and above all blood curdling shrieks. We saw Evero break though the door, to where our ship was. His shrieks were terrible; they still give me nightmares, as does the sight of him standing over some of my bodyguards, ripping them to shreds. Be warned, soon there will be a massive Brain Attack. The brains will be much milder than the first prototype, of course. “A Brain Attack! I’ll surely be promoted for finding this info! Gash!” said the professor out loud. Then he read the last paragraph of the document. I should warn you too. Not that it’ll do you any good. He never left. If you’re reading this, you aren’t… alone. A sense of dread washed over the professor. “ Gash…” He whispered. He looked to his side to see something eerily rolling towards him. As it stopped rolling the professor saw what it was: Gash’s head, still sparking. “Gash…” He whispered again. Suddenly he felt a presence, a dark presence, and then he knew. The document was right. He wasn’t alone. The first ever Brain Slug. Creator’s Comments: I hope you like the MOC and story. I put lots of effort into both. I build Nick Evero in the way I would imagine a Hero Factory UCS set would be done. His non-mutated side was inspired by the 1.0 heroes. The mutated side was just my twisted imagination. I really like how he turned out. I love both color schemes and I think they work well together. Oh, and this is my first Hero Factory creation ever. Hope you enjoyed!

  10. this is my entry to Digital Hero contest. XLF file Back in the early years of Hero Factory, when Hero Factory still hasn't gaining reputation yet, the villains are much much rougher than villains this day. Their crime records are so bad that the only option to deal with them is annihilation. this hero, Neo, was builded and born at times like these. Neo is a hero that specialized in annihilating villains. whenever the case require annihilation of the villain, Hero Factory will send him, and he never failed. none of the villain that's faced with him able to stay alive to tell his tales. this days, when annihilating villain is not necessary anymore, he is no longer goes on mission regularly anymore. Makuro assigned him to give special training for Hero Recon Team members. his training method never fail to produce a very skilled hero. Neo is considered as great, and harsh, trainer among Hero Recon Team members. and, for the veterans, a living legend. Neo's back is well armored to prevent attack from the back. this pure energy blade is Neo's trademark. this blade can cut trough anything, even the strongest metal, like a butter. this blade can also shot an energy slash to cut enemies that's too far. he also armed with flame burner to burn villain's dead body to ash. this burner also proven to be a great weapon that helps him getting out from the edge. ok, i think that's all. C&C will be appreciated.
  11. So yeah, I decided to throw myself into making a hero model that looked good and detailed, looked exactly like a normal, every day HF hero and could also be built in real life (Aside from recolours.) The result? I present to you... Thrusher, Hero of Heroes! (Or, at least, he thinks so.) Basically, the story is that Mr. Makuro wanted to make a hero similar to Thresher, but way better in every way. He sketched up a few designs, throwing away the ones he didn't feel were right along the way. In the end, there were 3 designs left. He passed the designs over to the Design Experts in Hero Factory, and they got to work on improving the designs further. Even later, they found numerous flaws in the designs of two of the three designs, and then there was one. They fixed every flaw and improved every detail and then one flaw remained, although it was so small and unnoticeable that they chose to ignore it and go on with the construction. The armour had the flaw that it would be slightly weaker than Thresher's armour, but the Assembly Tower's programs hadn't been updated to say the specific type of armour that was to be used was in stock. The machines used default, incredibly weak armour instead and so Thrusher, the new hero, was too vulnerable to be sent into extreme battle situations. Now, Thrusher is only used for patrolling the streets of Makuhero City, looking out for crime so he can report to Mission Control and have heroes sent to deal with the situation. Sometimes, though, he fights and easily defeats criminals with his Top Mark Grade Plasma Rocket Shield and Tornado Staff and that leaves people wondering... is he really not fit to go on a real mission? Oh, and LDD file: thrusher.lxf
  12. Early on in the invasion of the so-called Brain Slugs near Makuhero City and on surrounding planets, many HF scientists decided to experiment with the Slugs and their effects on their hosts. In a process similar to the creation of a vaccine using weakened bacteria, a wounded Brain Slug was forcibly connected to the back of a Rookie Hero by the name of Cade Marler. The ethics of the experiment were just as questionable as the results. As the Brain Slug affixed itself to Marler's spine, the young hero's left side- the right side being his dominant side, a feature integrated into recent Hero personality matrices- gradually became sickly green, twisted, mutated... in a similar fashion, rage, destruction, and distrust filled his mind, and he was unable to control it. The physical mutation of the Brain Slug continued to take root, and so did the mental aspect. Over time, however, Cade was able to regain his control over the mental and physical infections. It became a valuable asset. With enough concentration, Marler was able to keep the Slug's effect in check most of the time, and bring forth its anger when he needed it most, specifically in battle. The mutated left arm's spiny protrusions became quite useful weapons against all manners of enemies. Marler still has to be careful, though, because if he overexerts himself the parasitic Brain Slug will take control. ^ CLICK THE IMAGE ABOVE TO VIEW THE FLICKR GALLERY ^ This is my entry for the Hero Or Monster contest. A somewhat simpler build than my usual work, but I still quite like it. The name is random, the backstory isn't. Feedback on the MOC is appreciated.
  13. Here's my entry for the Digital Hero category : Marshall Boyle. (He's flying because of the geometry of the shin armor) LXF / Brickshelf
  14. Once a regular Hero, Torvax has been horribly mutated by a brain parasite. Though his body is fully controlled by the brain parasite, he is still capable of thought, and he watches in horror as his body goes against the very group of heroes he used to belong to. 15. Built for the Heroes Guild of LCC, Level: Journeyman(2) "Your hero slaying a monster." Mark of Falworth won a major victory in the Siege of Lost Souls, The Outlaws were thrown from the massive walls and the fierce Dragon was finally forced to flee before the swarms of knights. The casualties were numerous on both sides. And the Castle was soon abandoned by the crusaders as they didn't want to leave a garrison behind in enemy territory. A fortnight later, Mark of Falworth and his companions Vaasco Suariz and Gonsaluus Petri (both valiant knights of the realm) were on a simple reconnaissance mission, when they spotted a huge object in the sky. They quickly realized it must be a Dragon, indeed it was the very one they had faced only a little while ago. It was careening right towards them! Vaasco shouted, "Forsooth, my liege! Let us with due expedience make our way towards yonder thicket that we mayest avoid the fierce Dragon, which would seek to do us grievous ill!" "Nay," replied Mark, "For yonder dragon did accept battle on my terms, so will I accept battle on his terms..." Gonsaluus interrupted, "But sir, verily even the bravest of knights would not dare to battle a dragon single-handedly, especially considering every knight's life is needed for the cause." “Thou speakest wisely Gonsaluus, but this dragon, surnamed ‘the cunning’ for his shrewdness of brain, can still be defeated by clever stratagem.” Mark winked at his companions, then dismounted from his horse in one fluid motion and marched alone towards the beast. The dragon, with a great flurry of its wings, landed a few yards away and breathed a blast of flame at the knight. But Mindarus the dragon was too far away for the fire to have any effect. Especially since Mark of Falworth was clad head-to-foot in steel plate armor... Mark jeeringly called out to the monster, "I bid thee good day, fine fellow. But, sink me, I cannot feel the heat of your fire! are thou still out of breath from the beating I gave you two weeks ago?" Hearing this rebuff, The Dragon lunged forward with a furious snarl, And inhaled deeply so as to scorch Mark to a crisp! Mark leaned back as if about to be struck... And at that instant, just before the Dragon breathed forth the flame, he hurled his sword straight into the throat of the vile creature! The monster reared back in shock and pain. Then, turning its head to the heavens, let loose a roar which shook the earth for miles around as blood and fire shot towards the sky. With a low moan and a deep shudder, the beast slammed into the earth, its head at the feet of the triumphant knight. As the brightness faded from the dragon's eyes, Mark said "Take no offence, sir dragon, But thine head will make a most worthy present to the King." And so the evil dragon, Mindarus the Cunning, was defeated by the equally cunning Mark of Falworth For the Glory of Loreos! Thanks for viewing and have a great day!
