  1. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions.
  2. Actually Legohaulic suggested it first. Sorry.
  3. Thanks again! No, no, Copmike never had a ring around his eye!
  4. Nah, those faces came from my pre-exsisting collection. I would have just used all of the official heads they come with, but it would be weird to have all guards with all the same faces! Oh, but that would be dishonest!
  5. Thanks strider406! Thanks! Nothing for Eurobricks... He's such a busy man, commanding the fleet against pirates and what not! I probably will as Christmas is around the corner and the prices are pretty low ($3.49 USD plus you get all the weapons/backpacks/et cetera) I may as well post my Fish Merchant here as well (it's dark-brown-o-rific!)
  6. Thanks for the feedback! I believe one of the current Belville sets; I don't know which one specifically, as I picked them up on Bricklink. Maybe... or as Are92 RoWar insinuated, it could be Copmike.... though I think "Thug Dog" is a tid bit too tall.
  7. Well, this really isn't a MOC, but I like to post little things like this for your viewing pleasure. A couple of my troops were left out of this picture for misconduct during a routine inspection. (Nope, I only own one row. Ah, photoshop, what would I do without thee? Well, that's 'bout it. Thought it would be fun to increase my imperial forces (Kinda. Sorta. Not really.) Thanks!
  8. Thanks again for your input! Why would I want to take them out; I put them there on purpose. I don't walk around in public with that old feather-duster on! I think it captures the feel of the video.
  9. Thanks Sinner; you can count me in!
  10. I never thought I'd say it, but good thing he uses spray paint to mark his territory... Thanks.
  11. Thanks very much for the kind words!! Mossy cobblestone. I think I've got a good shot of the hidden caves in the LAMLtv issue. Thanks! I think I got them from a PaB, but I did have to place a few orders to get this done. Thanks! Yup, the very same bicorne. I believe it is a Kinghts of Columbus bicorne, but it is very old I think (and the sash), and is very similar to pirate bicornes. The music was composed and performed by my oldest brother Ben: http://benschwartz.net/ I believe he may have some CDs featuring that track titled "Bridge to Nowhere" among others somewhere, but I can't say for sure. His contact info is on his website, so you can drop him an email and I'm sure he'll get back to you. (Just say you're from Eurobricks, he'll know. )
  12. To quote Daniel Plainview... "I'm finished!" Quoted from the edited first post: "(To start, a huge thanks to those of you who provided input and advice. Also, thanks to Legohaulic for inspiration on the name!) After a couple of months, bricklink orders and a lot of building, The Pillaging of Neptune's Noggin Lagoon is finally complete! It is my largest MOC to date. If you want the inside scoop on this MOC, shots of details not included in the pictures, or if you want to see me in a very goofy hat, check out the latest edition of the revolutionary LAMLtv, where this MOC is featured! http://radio.laml.org/pillaging-of-neptunes-noggin-lagoon/ Neptune's Noggin Lagoon is a generally peaceful seaside village and port. The townsfolk live simple lives. But sailing swiftly into the harbor is a fierce pirate ship, bringing with it a hoard of roudy pirates, ready to spill some blood, ransack, and pillage. Armed with what they could find, the villagers retaliate with swords, pitchforks and carpet beaters. Running through the mossy cobble-stone streets, chaos breaks out as the clinking of swords and agonizing screams are all that can be heard. On the other side of the harbor, adjacent to Neptune's Noggin Rock (named due to its likeness to the god of the sea), the Governor looks on in horror and confusion: "What to do now?!". Who will be victorious in this epic battle of good and evil? I have my money on the pirate crew. But that is up to you to decide! The entire set of pictures can be found on MOCpages: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/81275 Thank ye as always."
  13. No, not a croc or bear. I've contemplated using custom elements but decided against it since everything in the others are 100% official.
  14. Thanks again for your input! I value it! Soon. Very soon....
  15. Yes. One more planned. And it's creepy and thuggish. :pir-skull:
  16. Thanks again! Either steamed (I prefer fried) pork dumplings.
  17. Domo arigato! (Is that japanese for "Thank You?") Sashimi? What the heck is that? I should've added some gyoza... that's me favorite. Mmmm....
  18. Thanks very much, guys! Too late. Already photographed and ready to go. Just waiting until the opportune moment...
  19. Thanks again for the feedback. It's appreciated. Yup.
  20. Thank you for the feedback and suggestions! Don't forget to log out! :pir-skull: Thanks. Maybe my minifigs are Naval Soldiers? Does such a rank exsist?
  21. Thank you for the feedback, strider406.
  22. Ok, maybe too fresh.
  23. Vig. 39d Those nasty, snarling pirates thought it would be a fun prank to give the imperial forces a taste of their own medicine by having them drawn and quartered. And they were correct. This MOC is built on a 16 x 16 trans-clear baseplate. Thank ye.
  24. My stuff came in today, so I made this just for you! And I've got a new Pirate Month Avatar!
  25. Thanks again. I built this quickly because I thought it could use a splash of privateering. I'll try and stick her in somewhere.
