  1. Hello! I'm looking for some common Belville figures ~ really only one, specifically: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirnadroj/3002910310/ I know that one is current and available now, but oddly enough zero BL sellers have them, so I figured someone here can help me out. (Honestly, I only need the black arms) I'm also looking for a few other belville figures, so if you have any you're willing to trade, if you could post a link to a picture on BL or something, that'd be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help! ~SirNadroj
  2. My goodness, Dan gets around! Thanks for the info!
  3. I decided against it. I was unsure if it would score well with the judges... Lighthouse? Ye means the imperial fort tower. I chose regular red ones to go with the classic colour scheme of the original pirate line. I think dark red would throw the pattern off. Thanks again!
  4. No, I'm dumb enough. Bricklink, of course. Though I do own the new DS. Oh well, if it didn't come out like planned, I really don't care; too late now, right? Funny how I could care less but everyone makes a big deal out of it.
  5. Thanks guys. Not sure yet.
  6. Vig. 46c (To start, a huge thanks to those of you who provided input and advice. Also, thanks to Legohaulic for inspiration on the name!) After a couple of months, bricklink orders and a lot of building, The Pillaging of Neptune's Noggin Lagoon is finally complete! It is my largest MOC to date. If you want the inside scoop on this MOC, shots of details not included in the pictures, or if you want to see me in a very goofy hat, check out the latest edition of the revolutionary LAMLtv, where this MOC is featured! http://radio.laml.org/pillaging-of-neptunes-noggin-lagoon/ Neptune's Noggin Lagoon is a generally peaceful seaside village and port. The townsfolk live simple lives. But sailing swiftly into the harbor is a fierce pirate ship, bringing with it a hoard of roudy pirates, ready to spill some blood, ransack, and pillage. Armed with what they could find, the villagers retaliate with swords, pitchforks and carpet beaters. Running through the mossy cobble-stone streets, chaos breaks out as the clinking of swords and agonizing screams are all that can be heard. On the other side of the harbor, adjacent to Neptune's Noggin Rock (named due to its likeness to the god of the sea), the Governor looks on in horror and confusion: "What to do now?!". Who will be victorious in this epic battle of good and evil? I have my money on the pirate crew. But that is up to you to decide! The entire set of pictures can be found on MOCpages: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/81275 Thank ye as always.
  7. The first in a series of three different Two-Face minifigures I'm working on. Not seamless, no, but hopefully over the course of this project I'll learn some tips on improvement through experience. Thanks!
  8. My God, that hull is gorgeous. I've been meaning to ask you; how do you create the hull? Just special grid paper? I know some people use computer software to render the model.
  9. Thanks for your input, LEGOKing and Zorro! And, since I can't resist, another WIP for for me large entry. I know I should make it its own thread, but right now, I don't have much to post. Just teasers. Neptune/Poseidon rock formation for the lagoon; keep in mind it's still a WIP.
  10. Thanks for the feedback. I'm strapped for time, so I will not be revising this. I'm happy with it anyway; but your feedback is always apprecaited. Thanks for the input. Not original, but certainly cruel. 1. That's based on personal preference, of course. The SNOT is there for the sunken-in barrel. I don't over-complicate things for the sake of over-complicating. 2. That would make sense... 3. Those minifigs were a pain to pose. Hence the awkwardness. Oh well. 1. I'd much rather have it original than regular old bland tan sand. 2. The SNOT holds the barrel in the sand. 3. That was the best I could do. I fiddled with the tree for at least a hay-hour trying to get it right. That's the best I could do. 4. Blood. Bah, I don't really care for adding blood. 5. Technic axle? You're seeing things, me thinks. Ok, again, thanks for the feedback. Sorry if I sound defensive.
  11. Vig. 27b I thought I may as well make a small entry; in the middle of my large one, of course. Fighting piracy under the union jack on the white sand beaches of the caribbean... I haven't seen any "white sand" in LEGO, and white extra slopes lying around, I said "why not?", right? Overlap does not extend over 1 stud in any direction. Thanks. Oh, and for your pleasure, a WIP-Teaser for my large entry. It'll be posted in its own thread once finished.
  12. As always, fantastic work. I couldn't possibly fathom the amount of creativity when it comes to the minifigures themselves and your custom backgrounds. I love competition like this; you certainly should win. Would you like me to edit the title of this thread for you; since there are more than 20 now.
  13. Yup, painted myself with Metallic Krylon Spray paint ~ Thanks! They are still prototypes; I got them from a friend. Thanks! And here's another one for all you WW fans out there! Canary Harry The late proprietor of the Dusty Gulch Mining Co. and a victim of carbon monoxide poisioning in his own mine, Canary Harry now wanders aimlessly through the tunnels and over the cart tracks with a canary, as a precaution, of course.... EDIT: More Space Being Alias: Unknown Origin: Unknown Mission: Prove it is of the more intelligent race Rogue Taxidermist Not only can he stuff animals, but he can also do you, your friend, your enemy: whoever! Makes a great gift!
  14. Thanks! Conquistador De La Muerta Once a famous Spanish Conquistador, this creature loved everything gold. Speaking out against the ill-treatment of the Aztecs, the other spainards felt he would get in the way of their efforts to conquer Mexico, so while he was sleeping, they slip his throat and left his corpse in the jungle. The Aztecs found his body the next morning, and out of respect, encased his corpse in gold. They preformed a ressurection ritual, when he was brought back to life. Now one of the Aztec Army's greatest assests, the Conquistador De La Muerta, fights against Spain...
  15. Thanks for the feedback. Deputy Boones Once the fatest gun in the Wild, Wild West, the late Deputy Boones never lost a duel; except for the one that killed him. Now he haunts the little mining town of Dusty Gulch, as a vigilante...
  16. Here are some of my entries for Fine Clonier's Spooky Minifigure Contest... Environmental Nightmare Imagine meeting this demon in the darkest and blackest forest on a moon-lit night. Or is he real? Does your mind conjure up his image, manifesting itself in the tangled branches of the forest? Nobody knows... Bayoulonda This crocodile fiend lurks in the swamps of the deep south, waiting for her prey. Skilled as a witch-doctor, this mistress of evil can shrink anyone's head with accuracy and precision. Want to see? Bayoulysses The brother of Bayoulonda, this creepy croc says that you are on his property. I'd think you better leave.... Ventrilorabbit Not much is known about this seemingly adorable Rabbit Ventrioloquist doll, but it wants to kill you... Clowny-Pie *Insert Maniacle Laughter Here* Brute What could be spookier than this minifig brute with technic arms? I don't even want to fathom that thought.... Troll Witch Lurking in the deep and dark forests of Scandanavia, this fiend wants to cast a spell on you... Pumpkin Her name is "Pumpkin". All of the ghouls want a piece of her, because she's smokin' hot. And by "hot", I an refering to the candle in her head.... :skull: ~SirNadroj
  17. The toucan is pretty nice.

  19. Thanks. Yup, it's a BA prototype. I don't know when official pics were released.... perhaps Badger can enlighten. Thanks ~ yup, cutesy. My style of building, I think, its generally cutesy, but this will be used in PTV so it'll be fun to mix my overall style (happy - some buildings might appear to have smiley faces if you look at them the right way) with blood, guts and evil! It's Agent Charge's head: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?M=agt011
  20. 18-24 pounders 2b Thought I'd share my little, boxy cannon design since I haven't posted much here lately. I like the squareness and boxiness of it; kinda different, me thinks. And that MM hint is the use of those new missiles, that work great for those sweeping things and/or the sticks that you light a cannon with. I be not pirate jargon saavy... arrr.... Thank ye.
  21. My entry for Reasonably Clever's Spooky Star Wars Contest (Class 1 - Vehicle) Thanks.
  22. PM sent; thanks. Anyone else?
  23. No, no, that's a terrible idea; I've got too many Indinana Joneses!
  24. Welcome to EB, eti!
