It wasn't Kevin. It was Tilius, AKA Zane. Here's some quotes -- From MSN. -Ikk

So, what seems to be a few likely conclusions from this awesome info... --Three villain & three hero sets, coming in two batches. Meaning the rest of the Nuva in summer. --Some kind of Toa obviously related to the Ignika. --Six early, smaller sets, although how small is shrouded in mystery. Yay 2008! -Ikk

NUVA Pricing and missing Nuva aside... Holy Zarquon. Although I can't seem find this at Amazon.de, any link? EDIT: Never mind, try this: http://www.pricerunner.de/f/72/Spielzeug?a_search=Bionicle -Ikk

To get on-topic ( X-O ), did anyone notice the Mahri & Titans are available in both Europe and the US on S@H?! *sweet* -Ikk -
Most Castle sets seem to be available on S@H in many European countries already, as well as in some stores. I suggest check local markets or toy stores if there are any in your neighbourhood, or else get them at S@H. :-) A quick note on the Final Joust -- it appears to be unavailable in at least some countries, including ol' Denmark here, but I found it looking in a local store. So if you're interested in that set, but your S@H doesn't have it yet, just look for it in stores. *sweet* It's a sweet li'l set. -Ikk

I don't think many of the seemingly rude comments should be taken too seriously, Grievous. We just want to get our agressions out, which, while possibly coming across as hateful, is a rather harmless way of debating. It could be much worse... *sweet* And I greatly respect your religion, and your opinions, even if I may not agree with either. IMO, it seems better to have some more liberties when it comes to expressing one's opinions, as opposed to BZP's way of banning whatever views could possibly be interpreted as slightly offensive. I prefer a heated debate to bones' self-elected rebel-crushin' control. But hey, each to his own! And I don't think Greg is disliked as a person, really, many of us just tend to hate his writings. Some of us can be rather passionate at times. X-D -Ikk

It GOTTA be Vortixx. No competition. *sweet* -Ikk

I wholeheartedly agree with you on the skeletons, Shakar -- for temples, graves, etc., regular limb ones fit the best, while these new ones can be used as undead Pirates / Castle figs. And of course, the old friendly skellie head has a special place in my heart. :-P Hoping to get the all but the Tower and Castle for my upcoming birthday... already have a Crossbow attack, but with the great figs and weapons, you can't have too many! And that ship... :'-) Castle + Pirates = danged good LEGO. Now, let's just buy a lot so as to give LEGO the incentive to continue this line in '08! With trolls and dwarves, the future looks brighter than ever. -Ikk

Carlos D'anda was the artist of '01-'02, just so ya know. :-P Miss that style... Anyone seen some of the great art in the Bionicle World book, BTW? They could really use that for comics! Plain wonderful -Ikk -

Well, the Toa from the First Toa Team is only featured on the web, too, and he is a set. I'm leaning towards Karzahni as well. Greg also said, when replying to why Karzahni would have two forms this year -- "Think of what he did to the Matoran." He was also preparing the forges in BL2, so my guess would be he rebuilds himself... I really needa get outta here. :-P -Ikk -

Actually, no, Gadunka is not a guardian of the Mask of Life -- as Greg said, these press kit descriptions are written by people who know as much about Bionicle as the average BZP'er (paraphrasin' here). And Makuta is said to return in the BL7 description on Schloastic's website -- combine that with the fact that Greg has hinted that Makuta will get a new body this year, fighting Karzahni and all... and you know who the evil spirit inside Maxilos is. :-| -Ikk -
It's not for download anywhere on Bionicle.com, but you can find a version of it on BZP, over here. It's still in progress though, and as such some of the glitches remain there. -Ikk

Not quite sure that would've worked, as light is Takanuva's element, and not just in his mask. The light beams he fired at it were deflected as well -- besides, here's a quote from Dark Destiny: "It's a warning," she [Hahli] reported. "It reads something like this... 'This is a realm of shadow... of famine and plague and blight... This is a world of darkness... and there is no place for light.'" But now, don't turn this into the BZP S&T forum! :-D -Ikk

Aye, the Rahaga and Keetongu used Metru Nui as base during the last 1000 years, and have now left on their quest to free all the Rahi trapped by Visorak. The Turaga remain in the city and overlook its rebuilding, and as does Takanuva, after not being able to enter Karzahni's realm due a light-blocking 'wall'. And yep, the Nuva and Inika met just before each went on their respective quests -- here's the last words, said by Tahu: "Go now, Toa Inika. As Matoran, you showed courage and heart as great as that of any Toa. As heroes, you have proven yourself worthy of joining the ranks of the greatest in legend. We will be wating to greet you when you have fulfilled your destiny!" -Ikk

Who's to say he's right? I'd personally trust Greg and the main Bionicle Team more than an employee, but that's just me. Besides, the term 'biological chronicle' refers to a story come alive, basically -- it isn't based on their appearances. Of cources, it's likely they also derived it from the word 'bionic'... but ignore, and get back on topic! :-D -Ikk

Why, lessee... --The Nuva, Matoran, and Turaga return to Metru Nui and start rebuilding it. --The Turaga, Dume now with them, discover that Mata Nui is dying. --The Nuva are sent off to Voya Nui to locate the fabled Mask of Life, which is the sole thing that can save the Great Spirit. --Once there, they meet the Piraka, rogue Dark Hunters, who have enslaved the Matoran and taken control of the Island, while they too search for the Mask of Life. --The Nuva are utterly defeated, first by the Piraka, and then by the treacherous Order of Mata Nui member, Brutaka, who along with Axonn were stationed on Voya Nui long ago to guard the Mask Life. --Six Matoran of Metru Nui - Jaller, Kongu, Matoro, Hewkii, Hahli, and Nuparu - realize the Nuva are in danger, and set out to find Voya Nui. --Passing through the realm of the ancient entity Karzahni, they are given new masks as an intent to erase their old identities and keep them slaves, but they soon find canisters which transport them to Voya Nui. --Once there, a bolt of lightning from the Red Star (see MNOG) transforms them into Toa Inika, with lightning-interlaced elements and organic masks. --Lots of action, Inika versus Piraka and so on. --Both Piraka and Inika travel down below ground to find the Mask of Life, as a stairway has been revealed. --Fighting their way to a huge lava chamber, the Inika confront Vezon, the clone of the Piraka Vezok. --Using a sepecial Zamor sphere given to them by Axonn, the Inika trap Vezon his dragon Kardas, and remove the Mask of Life, which was fused to Vezon's head when he tried to steal it. --The Mask of Life flies back up through the tunnel, and plunges into water, towards Mahri Nui, a sunken part of Voya Nui. --Axonn shows the Inika a secret tunnel which leads to Mahri Nui, and they go down through it. --Meanwhile, the Nuva have been freed by the Matoran of Voya Nui, and Brutaka defeated by Axonn. --Botar from the Order of Mata Nui sends Brutaka to the Pit - a now underwater prison for the world's most vile beings - which is where Mahri Nui also is. --The Nuva are now on their way to free the Bahrag, due to things told to them by Botar, while the Inika continue their quest underwater... Confusing? Hell yes. But here ye go. *sweet* -Ikk

Summer 2007 Bionicle set names!
Ikki o' Moopyville replied to Zaktan of the Shadows's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Well, the Brotherhood of Makuta was in the story bible as far back as 2001 -- but when asked if the 3000 Toa number had any significance, Greg told it was 'something he had just come up with.' :-/ -Ikk -
Apparently, Botar gave the Nuva information on where they had to go next -- so while the Inika left for Mahri Nui, the Nuva are on their way to free the Bahrag, as that is vital to the grand schemes of Mata Nui and whatnot. The island is supposed to be alway barren, hence the release of the swarms. Presumably, the Nuva will pass through Karzahni on their way to the Bahrag caves, and there retrieve the Inika's masks. Well, that's what Greg said. :-| -Ikk
-
Well, that's innovation for ya! :-D If a method works, stick with it -- only, this was the way people were sick of Mata Nui in the end. In 2003, the story had begun to repeat itself, which is why Metru Nui came. The 2001 story rocked beyond all, but six years of it would be overkill. Good to hear you don't support it -- now we only need to convince Greg's it's a bad idea. Agreed. Too much random stuff about this Toa with those powers on that island. :-D The dialogue is probably one of the things that best illustrate the blandness of the characters, in the eyes of many people -- I know I'm quite fed up with cocky lines in supposedly epic life/death situations. -Ikk
-
How about characters fleshed out by many distinguishing, extreme traits? *sweet* EDIT: That would be ol' Bob Thomson, who now has moved on from TLC and left Greg in the throne. It's 2007! -Ikk
