  1. Great review! Lately Harry Potter has been catching on to me since I saw the sets, and started rereading the books. I think this set is great with all it's pieces, and that dobby minifig looks so much better than the old one. I'll be sure to pick up a few of these when they come out in stores! I'm just wondering, on quality of the plastic, is it good, like the old Harry Potter sets, or kind of bad, like the new Kingdom's battle packs? - General Redwater
  2. That's what a plug bayonet is, a bayonet that fits into the barrel, blocking a person from shooting, but turning the musket into a spear-like weapon. It's like an early form of a bayonet. I do admit though, I like socket bayonets better(the ones that attach on the side), but I decided to give this a try. - General Redwater
  3. I'm sorry I haven't been active lately, things have gotten very busy, but I have had some time to build. I recently wanted to make some Plug Bayonets for my colonial troops, I just wanted to try something different from the socket bayonet that I always use. So, after three different tries, I think I finally made a good design. First: The first try looked good, I like the way it attached to the barrel, but I thought the Brickarms knife looked a little to modern. I decided to change the knife, but keep the mechanism that I used to attach it, because I liked it. Second: On the second try, I decided to use a LEGO chrome knife. It looked good, but I thought too shiny, and a bit small. I also knew I would have to cut off, and sand down the claw, because it looked a bit bulky. Third: My favorite design. I didn't shave off the claw because I didn't have the tools on me at the time, but I did cut it off a few hours later. I like this one better because the sword seems the right length, and the knob at the end of it fits right into the barrel of the musket. I think it looked much better, and I plan to arm some of my early colonial troops with them. I know that the Plug bayonet was supposed to fit right into the barrel, but with the LEGO musket that isn't possible, so the mechanism was needed. The pictures are a bit blurry, I'm still using my bad camera, but I hope you can see it correctly. I hope you liked my design, and thank you for reading this. - General Redwater
  4. Great job Skalldyr! Another well deserved win! - General Redwater
  5. Congratulations Skalldyr! This is a well deserved win, your entry looked great! - General Redwater
  6. I know it's a bit late, but Congratulations Pedro! The joy of raising a child, my parents would always tell me. That is something I hope to experiance later on in life, and I'm glad that you are about to soon. - General Redwater
  7. It's him! Any actor from the Sharpe series is famous to me, but you actually met rifleman harris. He's been one of my favorite characters since he figured out the French code in "Sharpe's sword" I'm certainly glad that you were able to meet him. - General Redwater
  8. Your welcome.:) I think it was from a ghost movie, the backround purple, not the sigfig. Still, I can't remember just what it was.....

  9. That violin looks great! Very nice detailing. The other instruments look a bit too modern for pirates, but I still like them. - General Redwater
  10. Than my question is: Would he try and take back Canada, and do you think he would try invade the new United States?
  11. I feel more bad for the kid. I've swallowed many a LEGO brick when I was younger(on accident), and never choked. This kid must have been unlucky. Wait, what!?! I....I...I wish I had known before it happened....... - General Redwater
  12. Nice profile photo! :-) Reminds me of something, I just can't remember what........

  13. If anyone cares: I haven't been on lately, and things where I live have gotten quite busy these days. I will try my best to post, but for now, I might only be able to log on for five minutes at a time. I will try my best to get online though. - Redwater
  14. It's amazing how many planes they had over the years. I agree with everyone else though, I wish there was a LEGO logo on the plane. I wish it were my photo, than that would mean I was inside it. - General Redwater
  15. There are still those pirates. There like shootin' fish in a barrel. - General Redwater
  16. I voted for a mix of both. I like the old shark much better, but the new one, although cartoonish, can eat a whole minifig. This opens up a whole new world of MOCs in which you can see the minifigs getting eaten whole. With the old one, you couldn't fit a minifig in there unless you took the legs off, and melted down the torso.(I tried that, it became pretty messy.) - General Redwater
  17. Congratulations to the winners! You had amazing entries! The Redcoats won!?! HUZZAH! Great entries everyone! - General Redwater
  18. At the time I couldn't resist the dark juicy taste. The smell was a bit off though..... - General Redwater
  19. Nice review! Everything looks nice except for one thing, the cap design. I just don't like it, and compared to the usual cap design, the older one looks much better, in my opinion. I want to get this set just for the pigs, so I can start a colonial farm MOC. Thanks for the review! - General Redwater
  20. Nicely built rat! The light brick behind the cannon looks good too! I just have one question, why is a Bluecoat and a Redcoat defending the same fort?
  21. Funny entry! At least my sigfig is smart enough not to eat it......, WAIT is that my sigfig?!? Great entry! - General Redwater
  22. It was a lie! *Sobs* I thought that when his head exploded from radioactive poisining I could take a bite. Now I can't do that... *sobs even more*

  23. My God! The Redcoat doomsday machine! The end of the Bluecoat empire is upon us. As for the ship, it is very impressive, but for historical accuracy, it is a bit off. - General Redwater
  24. oooooohhhhh Bright colors, and flashy lights! *starts drooling*

  25. I could try to enter. Maybe I can have a good idea that includes rats soon. - General Redwater
