  1. There's lots more pics in the other links from various angles that show other details obscured in the main pics. Tell me about it, having to do multiples of the various plant life was a test in patience and endurance (fingers got numb after awhile). All worth it though as even years after, it's still getting the attention from those who've never seen it and remembered by those who've seen it before. AC
  2. Have done MOCs from other themes besides SW, click the pics for more... AC
  3. Thanks all for your comments! At least these two got screen time, a lot more never even get their chance to get their pic taken. They were really meant to compliment each other based from their design with the use of the lionheads. Ditto above. Clickits for flowers. Part of the backstory meant for it was a quest of some sort. I might use the arch design with the ramps for something else someday. From that perspective, the columns look that way but looks ok in this. PaB provided those tiles and won't tell how many I got. AC
  4. Did it meet your expectations? As I've mentioned above, it's not enough to have all the details without the appropriate minifigs in action to give it life. There's also the cohesiveness of their action for every part to tell the whole story. No thanks, but I won't do stop motion to accomodate your wish. AC
  5. Your wish has been granted, go back to the first post and you can view them as separate or together. AC
  6. I've built these structures way back in 2007 intending to do a big diorama incorporating both which unfortunately never materialized. As I needed the tan bricks and dark tan tiles for another MOC, just made up these vignettes so as not to waste the effort done for them. AC
  7. You've been watching too much of these CW cartoons as you were able to get the scene between them spot on. Seriously, they always seem to argue at the most crucial time before the action comes through. Congrats for catching that! Thanks for the FP whenever you get to it. Always looking for ways to make use of printed bricks in unexpected places. How about figuring out what piece was used for the stands that hold the engines? Must admit though that I've already used the same technique for those bay windows in another MOC years ago. It shouldn't have been that hard to find her and looks like you've enjoyed viewing this. AC
  8. Thanks all for your comments! Yes, it was done in 2007 and creating the various plant life was the most challenging. Also threw in my brick-built versions of the Juggernaut, crab droid and droidgunship. What's a battleground without the complete armada from both sides? Another one from the archives and still kickin it! AC
  9. Stitched Separatists and Clones together from year 2007. For a higher resolution pic, click on this. AC
  10. Done. Yes. AC
  11. Thanks but is there something you didn't like about the robotic equipments or the hydraulic lifts? JK Sure thing but you forgot to write your mailing address so can't do it. AC
  12. Quality improvements from the TIE Bomber and it shows. Another one done and how many more to go? You probably ought to do some sort of diorama in the future for your UCS scale ships with miniland sized figures of TIE fighter pilots, stormtroopers or maybe even Vader himself. That would be incredibly awesome! AC
  13. Great interpretation of the original (Rocko's) with your own flavor added. Only thing I'm missing is that I thought there was supposed to be an interior for your version or am I mistaken to assume that?. AC
  14. Thanks all for your comments as it looks like you've gotten a good laugh about this. Sometimes it's good to do something like this just to break the monotony of building serious MOCs. Anybody else done something similar? The printed ones came from a Harry Potter set and the unprinted came from the Spiderman sets. AC
  15. Sorry about that as I've taken your Module 14 and have actually completed it. Just request another module as there's more left to build. AC
  16. Thanks all for your comments! Short and simple back story, but you can probably guess what it's all about based from what you saw even if I didn't mention it. Detail, detail, and more detail. Did you spot the locations of the sneak pics in the whole dio? The overall design of the facility was based on manufacturing plants and the placement of the control room was essential to be able to oversee the whole process. It's not enough to have all the details without the appropriate minifigs in action to give it life. There's also the cohesiveness of their action for every part to tell the whole story. Practice, practice, practice and you'll soon learn the ways of the force! That's the main control room containing all the power and communication for the facility. Good thing you found her and you know that in previous episodes, she has the habit of sneaking through port holes, ventilation shafts and this time it's the exhaust port for the engines during the firing test. AC
  17. EB premiere! The modules that I've done for the EBCSWB gave me the idea for this. Click the pic for more... AC
  18. Insert the appropriate description for each scene from the movie 300, replacing Leonidas with JarJar Binks, Spartans with Gungans, Thermopylae with Theed, etc... Gungans can also dream, don’t they? AC PS. Previously posted in Lugnet on May 2007.
  19. Thanks, the basement plus the garage contains these creations. AC
  20. Last pic added before the final reveal later this week! Let me know what you think is the storyline for this diorama. That's right! Simple but effective. AC
  21. Thanks KimT for the FP! Last count at least two dozen Ewoks. Took awhile for me to redo this scene and make it right. You can never have enough of them! Not to mention that there was really only one tree in the old one. This is the first diorama that I've redone and with these comments, I knew that I've done it right. There's not much to compare with the vegetation from the old one. I've actually was looking at the pics from the old one while building this, seeking to improve on the overall effect. Take as much time to look through as there are smaller scenes to discover like the Ewok on a vine between the AT-STs legs. Always a challenge to do bigger dioramas and have a story to tell. I've mixed up recognizable movie scenes to made up ones for variety. Is it likely in the future that you'd do on a bigger scale a western style diorama? If you look at the old one, I've actually brought that back as it had drawn some laughs before. Go back and look again as you didn't mention C3POs throne. You only counted those on the treetops. No secret to those as they are just posters of landscape (forest trees) which you can get from various art stores and frames dealers. Hopefully your eyes don't hurt after looking at all of them! AC
  22. No time travel for you! I've actually replaced those technicians (aka rebel troopers) with those shown in the last pic as I've got confused reviews about them. AC
  23. Look how long it took TLC to do them! Must admit that I've used these levels in my other Hoth dios before and just redesigned them to fit the display case. TLC had nothing to do with this, it's mine. AC
  24. Thanks all for your comments! Forgot to mention that this was loosely based from the Hasbro Ewok playset which had the tan huts. This is also an upgrade of the previous one I've done way back in 2002. AC
  25. Third pic added... AC
