  1. Actually, all the rooms have interiors done though not shown in the pics. Half the time spent was on the minifigs which were reminiscent of our vacations. Thanks for the post on Classic-Town.net and there's another snowstorm brewing that make me really wish for those days on the beach. The poster was bought from either Staples or Office Depot, though for the SW themed works I managed to get posters with natural landscapes. I would have brought this and a few other MOCs had I been able to attend one of the Brick conventions. AC
  2. From one MOCer to another, I hate to say the dreaded words that classic-castle.com know too well "Big Gray Wall" syndrome. Here's a link to avoid it and improve on your MOC. AC

    UCS TIEs

Currently not so new anymore but way back in 2002, there were only a few FBTBers that did UCS scale (Reto comes to mind). Here's proof that it was done back in Sept 2002 and it did exist in reference materials in the SW site where I got the idea. AC

    UCS TIEs

Back in 2002, I managed to score from the TRU clearance five 7181 UCS TIE Interceptors for $25 each as the boxes were all messed up. Here's what I did with them. Only the TIE/Droid Fighter remains standing as the rest have been deconstructed. The Hasbro action figures fit comfortably inside the cockpit. AC
  5. Whoa! Just came back and what just happened here? Anyways, thanks all for your compliments and big props to Shadows for the frontpage post. Maybe I should start showing you some of the mishaps and rejects. Wanna start a donation for it? The placement of the droids was intentional as it brings to the scene the anticipation for things to some. I already realized it wasn't going to be as accurate as in the movie but you got the point. Click the pic for the webpage link of more pics and then tell me how many ewoks did you see. Ever seen the bunker before? Click the pic for the webpage link of more pics. AC
  6. You saw it posted here first! AC PS. The pic is a link for more pics.
  7. Thanks all for your compliments! I'm a bit surprised from your responses except for one that this is the first time that you've seen it. Anyway, the whole diorama has already been deconstructed. I tend to keep a copy of some of the pieces for future reference. Though I take a lot more pics than I show so that I can remember a particular design if I need to rebuild later on. AC
  8. Thanks and you better see the latest one! I've shown this first with the interior details because it would just serve as a backdrop for the next diorama. AC
  9. Better check out the latest one! This is a hobby and that's how I see it so it takes a backseat when real life comes through. AC
  10. Thanks, it's always hard to deconstruct any MOC especially after spending quite sometime with it. That's why some of them stay awhile until I need the bricks for newer works. AC
  11. No beach but there's the waterfalls! No can do as this has been deconstructed. AC
  12. Finally found a good reason to finally deconstruct this ship. AC
  13. It was trial and error for at least 20 pics that I've taken to get this shot with the correct effect. AC
  14. I've also done Town besides SW and Castle like this MOC from June 2006. AC
  15. Quite a lot of people also thought about the same thing except that I went to a self-imposed hiatus before I was able to sign-up here. Looking forward to building more... AC
  16. Using hard to figure out pieces like the molded baseplates represent different challenges. In this case two baseplates were used back-to-back where the bridge design came about to disguise the joint. Unfortunately I can't redo the scene as this MOC has been disassembled to make way for newer MOCs. Feel free to use any design concept that you can use for your own MOCs. This was actually an improved version of The mix of the old/new grey/bley pieces for the walls was intentional to go along with the printed slopes. AC
  17. These pics were taken during the year TPM was shown in theaters. Gungans Battle Droids AC
  18. Ok then, sign me up for modules 1, 2, 3, 13 and 14 (if Legorevolution-? gives it up). These will all be related modules for the engines since they're all at the back. AC
  19. I also do other themes besides SW from time to time and here's one that was done way back in April 2008. AC
  20. When is the end date for this as I'd like to pitch in as well. Also if possible, can links be done in the first post for the completed modules so that it's a lot easier to view them rather than going through the whole thread? Thanks, AC
  21. Guilty as charged and still am with FBTB but exploring more sites than ever before. If you haven't done so, better check the Star Wars threads as I've already started a couple of them (first and second). AC
  22. I've bought over the years posters of natural landscapes to use in my dioramas. The last two pics of the speeder chase scene and the Ewok POV use a couple of them. Thanks for digital photography, just imagine what it would be like to take pics like this with film photography! AC
  23. Yes I am. AC
  24. These pics represent three different dios as I'm cramped up for space to get all of them in just one. As for the Vader scene, it was trial and error for at least 20 pics that I've taken to get this one with the correct effect mentioned above. AC
  25. Thanks all for your compliments! Hopefully these answer some of your comments about it. This is the starting point of the Endor themed dios that are coming up. Just got lucky at the Lego PAB wall with the foliage used and expect more. The bunker design is more of a hybrid between the Hasbro Endor playset (exterior) and TLCs version (interior) keeping it in line with the movie version. AC
