  1. I sent the *.xml and *.g files yesterday. The new pack will definitely include them. I am correcting a few parts (and the translation of updated parts) before the pack will be released. I think the new pack will come this Saturday.
  2. I will send you the files this evening. The new parts pack is now Being verified and improved, and will follow shortly. Please do note that the triceratops body is not yet available.
  3. For printed parts we can use the DesignID of that specific part (as seen on Brickset), since that is unique to the specific print. For stickered parts...... don't know yet.
  4. Ah yes, I understand. Well, that means that the parts pack will include a disclaimer. I could make a separate optional parts pack for those assemblies? Then users can choose if they want to have cleaner, better and neater assemblies and categories.
  5. I agree. But which regular non-assembly specific parts will be removed from the palette when you make assemblies complete with them?
  6. The instructions are step by step how I managed to "free" the db.lif file. I will take a look at those parts. We should keep real life assemblies assemblies. So basically, if a set tells you to add parts together, it's not an assembly (minifigure torso vs Turkey with separate turkey legs). We cannot fix this. This is called culling and is an optimization (all studs underneath other parts get removed, this improves handling a lot). I am planning to work on this. But, so many new parts to add, so it's not very high on the priority list (but it will be done slowly!)
  7. That's really helpful for the older 'custom' parts that I am updating to include collision data. Next parts update will be pretty big!
  8. Not only that, the next parts update of LDD will even include some 2021 pieces already!
  9. Aah, I will try that! I have a folder with WIP parts on my desktop, which just included the *.dat files and subfiles. But I just have to create a folder named \s and put the subfiles in them... I will try it!!
  10. Hi, no, unfortunately not. I can import the files separately, but I have to manually position the subfiles. Also sometimes only half of the mesh is in a subfile. I still need some guidance on that.
  11. The small CLAAS tire is 70695. And the L-shaped beam is 71708.
  12. I did a quick web search: New panel 3x7: 71709 New curved panel w/ axle holes 71682 Beam 15L with alternating holes: 71710 Mudguard 13x2x5: 69911 Mudguard extension: 71689
  13. Ah yes, I understand. If we update the 3D model, we have to make sure that the origin is equal to the "original" one. Cool! Are your Technic parts already ready enough for sharing? It would be awesome to include them in the next parts pack.
  14. If the parts from LDraw have the same 3D mesh quality, they will not be replaced. It's mainly: whichever mesh has the best quality. Not necessarily; M2m is focussing on the Unity Microgame's, and I more or less do ones from LDraw (that do not have subfiles).
  15. The hands should be slightly deeper in the arms.
  16. I was thinking: every printed (modern) part has its own ID, we can use that as DecorationID (it's 5 digits). Multiple decorations on a part would be DecorationID1, DecorationID2 etc.
  17. Nevermind the above! This works in LDD Extended, but not in a Parts Palette (my 2020NewPreColoredParts), LDD crashes when starting when using 7-digit numbers...
  18. I noticed :). I did update the DecorationMapping, but there were only 2 *.g files: the mesh for the part and the mesh for the visor. So that's why the decoration could not be applied, a third *.g files was missing for the decoration surface.
  19. I generally use the 7-digit DesignID. So 4623959 for the chicken's decoration. The decoration for the Hazmat helmet cannot be applied to the correct position though when I downloaded your files (I changed the decorationID to 4619311 though). Can the decoration be applied to the part in your LDD?
  20. I managed to do u609. 2917 is made of subparts which I am having troubles with, and 2918 I can't find? Already 10 parts ready for the next update :D
  21. It's from some 2021 Technic sets: 42125.
  22. Added version 20201222: LINK.This version includes 30 new parts (including 2 new-for-2021 parts!! And 2 BBB train wheels!!), 4 new Duplo parts, 2 updated parts, a group image for the Duplo category, and a new version of the 2020NewPreColoredParts palette!
  23. Because when importing *.dat files in Blender that have subfiles, I only get parts of the complete model. How do I also import the subfiles in the correct places?
