  1. I'm not able to get anything to work on pc. Brand new computer and it's never been downloaded on it before.
  2. Agreed!!!! That's what I do. I wish the friends sets were complete buildings though.
  3. May have already been said but I use the brick separator. I could back the area around the sticker, slide it under the sticker so that the sticker sticks to the separator( just the edge) and use the separator to hold onto while applying the sticker.
  4. Good question. I've been wanting to add the plane from 7893 to my city but haven't decided just how to go about it.
  5. Willis does the same thing using your mobile phone.
  6. Same here. My 64 Impala on the road as a daily driver.
  7. I think seasonal Halloween/monster themed series would be cool. Like a Christmas village with cool accessories but fall themed.... Although a winter one would be neat too... but I think is being done.
  8. Was there a way to reply to the email? This is kind of my point. If they allowed us a way to send in the product we weren't happy with then they would be able to weed out those looking for free stuff and allow those of us with legit issues to get our product replaced and to remain happy customers. Not that I'd ever be unhappy but getting told I was trying to abuse the system would be pretty upsetting. I used to collect 1:18 scale diecast cars. Getting one with a scratch was pretty upsetting. You couldn't help but have your joy soured by the scratch you tended to focus on. No matter how small.
  9. My Lego city is my main reason for collecting Lego but I also do a lot of photography using Lego and an imperfection can distract from the actual picture.
  10. I can't help but wonder if they'll at some point they'll tell me no. I guess that's why I'm trying to pick my battles so to speak.
  11. I feel like I call Lego too often. I'm really picky I guess. I wouldn't feel near as bad if I could send back the defective/misprinted/scratched...Piece. Example is my T Rex has a line on the eye where the printing didn't come out correctly. Not sure why this bothers me but it does. I haven't called for the reason above. I did call though when I opened the dilophosaurus set and the dilophosaurus body had quite the gap where the two pieces go together. Just that section though. Everything else was good! Naturally they made it right. Above and beyond actually because they sent me a whole dilophosaurus. I'd feel a lot better if I had a way to send in the actual part I was trying to get replaced. I won't get started on stickers and creases.
  12. I have twice taken little vacations purposefully to visit the Lego store. First time I bought the Pet Shop and the second time I bought the Parisian Restaurant.
  13. I agree with it would be nice to have an option. The Galidor articulation would be great. Is it feasible? Probably not. A lot of us enjoy the photography aspect of Lego and being able to show more of some animation.
  14. Not sure if this is relevant or in the right area but unless I overlooked it I didn't see the Parisian restaurant in the new catalog. Common practice or is there something happening to it?
  15. I'm hoping to get the parts for mine and take some pictures on our little mini vacation coming up in a couple of weeks. I'll be going to the LEGO store. I'm pretty excited. Sadly though they are sold out of Parisian restaurant and palace cinema. PAB and maybe one of the new mugs.
