  1. At first: This scum has killed three more of our people, I think we shall hurry. We are still much more than them, but if they increase we decease so fast, we won´t have a chance. I wonder wether if they also converted. Mr. White seemed to try it, but what about the other boss? What if there´s two more now? At second: I promised yesterday a bold "I told you so" and now here we go: I told you so! With this said, we now know, that there was at least until yesterday no other cop in the Ronzini family, or he woulnd´t have needed to copy the key. At third: I trust Mr. Kovacs to be right about Mr. White. I went against him yesterday and today I´m sure, that he´s scum. Mr. Kovacs wouldn´t risk his life for a gut feeling. When we´re allowed to vote, I´ll vote for Frank White. By the way, I also think we should let Stash alive, until we know wether he´s useful for us or not. We need every friend we can have, I think.
  2. I for myself don´t mind/wouldn´t mind (is this playing the game?) being an actionless townie, I think, the main part of the game shall be accusing and voting, and not night actions. But I think, games without much night actions are boring, as you have nothing to base accusations or defendings on. I think, the accusing is happening on the the use of night actions, while the defending is often claiming to have done something else, so that this court ambiance is created. The town has to choose who to trust and who to vote of. Without this or with much less the town had only the chance to succeed by luckily voting for the right people and the vote was completely based on mistakes of the scum. I think, too many night actions would be very confusing, ´cause everyone could claim anything... But I would be very interested, how a special game with many night actions or only night actions would turn out, e.g. this 5 players game with one scum and four cops, one sane, one insane, one paranoid and one naive (how is this one called?) or something else like that....
  3. That´s the first Moc I´m showing here, and it´s not very big. Well, anyways, I built a bit before a small moc named Pete´s Tavern, which was based on a ristaurante, which had a litte appearance in batman-The animated series. The episode was "It´s never too late" and it´s about the mob fight of Arnold Stromwell and Rupert Thorne for the control of Gotham´s underworld. The scene was a meeting in a small ristaurante of Pete, who works together with Thorne. Thorne has invited Stromwell to talk about his missing son, planing, to kill the rival by blowing up the ristaurante. Batman saves the boss and makes him later talk. I transfered this into the much darker universe of BB and TDK and therefore made it a tavern. The interior is a bit small and for some reason it has no toilet, also the bomb wasn´t on the roof in the original... Pictures: A "tourist" who tries to take some good pictures... Stromwell and his men enter the tavern, which is guarded by one of Thorne´s men. That´s what you call good pictures The big Letter´s on the roof to catch people´s eyes. The roof and the hitman. The whole roof A backstreet with some "gangsters" A veteran of an unpopular war Has someone seen my dog? I´m sure I left it somewhere around here... The interior plus kitchen Pete tells a "bum" (Batman) to leave... For more pictures, the figures and a very small 10-pic Indy comic playing there please look into my brickshelf gallery. Hope you liked it, feel free to leave a question or a comment.
  4. Sounds really much like Quarryman´s "Infection!" game to me. But if we are already bring up used ideas, I would really much like a second (and this time finished ) Roman Mafia game, maybe playing with Sulla´s loyal ones vs. traitorous Marius-liking Senators or a game playing after Catiline´s treason with Catilinarians as scum, who try to murder the consul or such... Another idea I would like would be a second Western game, maybe playing in a corrupt town, where few vigilates (mafia) try to clean up with the corrupt ones. Just two more ideas of mine to re-use old ideas.
  5. Actually no. That´s funny, I really hope I´ll be in it.
  6. I like the mafia game I´m currently playing a lot and I must say, the 40 player situation is really funny. I would also like a new star wars mafia game, which was mentioned a lot of times, and I would try to play in one if omeone would host it. As a future idea: I would really much like a weird-night-action-anything-can-happen psychopath mafia game (), maybe playing in an asylum or such...just if someone would be interested in this, feel free to host one. I just think it was a funny idea and I would love to see one.
  7. I´m loving the Pirate theme and I hope it won´t be discontinued. Signed.
  8. I admit, this also makes some sence. My argument was, that she just was asked (or felt asked) about whom she investigated, and she just told some name which just came into her mind. lateron she realized, that she could have protected her boss and then hoped, that Mr. Dows would have forgot this one. She was very risky as we saw, she attacked Shaun although she know, that he would tell her, if he would survive. And telling him so much means, that she also hoped that he didn´t see her for some reason. Yeah, your fail-safe theory is quite interesting, but why should she show loyality beyond the death? And to back my arguments up, King was one of the first ones to vote for Carrie on day three, even befor ethe real bandwagon started.
  9. I still don´t want to jump on the bandwagon, because I still don´t think that will bring any good, even if it won´t help at this point. If he was scum, I will admit that you´ve been right and believe me, I didn´t cover him because I´m a fella of him, I did, because I believe him to be innoncent. If he turns out to be town, you´ll have to live with a bold "I told you so."
  10. I still say you´re all doing a big misktake. I really think that Mr. king is unguilty and that this evidence is for not soild enough to kill him. And I want to remember you what I said before, that I think, that the row was more like that: -Shaun asks Carrie privately whom she investigated. -Carrie needs a quick response and calls Erik´s name, ´cause he was a main suspect and yet very likely to be town. A real investigator would have investigated him and so Carrie said she did. -Shaun doesn´t really reply to that. -Carrie gets the idea to protect her boss public, just believing, that Shaun just skipped this saying. Therefore I think, that Mr. White is much more likely to be scum that King! I won´t vote for Mr. White, just because I think, that splitting the votes is no good idea at all, but I won´t vote for King either. I ask you all just to think about this and then tell me what you think, and maybe voting for Mr. white in the end.
  11. I think, my son is right. This case is different from Carrie´s, we had a good argument of a trustworth teacher, who risked his own life for the vote. Mr. Leg, Gen, will you bet your life for the guilt of him? If not, I think we should be more careful about those two than about Mr. King. And by the way, we had our rat in the police. Why do you think there are two of them? Wouldn´t this catch Chief Nader´s eyes? And didn´t Carrie keep attacking Officer King on day two?
  12. Guys, I was kidding, when I said, that neclecting the doctor´s treatment would be scum. I think we have nothing we could use against Erik but his damned annoying stuttering. I think, we should pay more attention to the name of Mr. White. As the Professor mentioned, Carrie mentioned King and White to be innoncent. I forgot which one in public and which one first, I guess it was erik King first privately and then, after noone seemed to care for, she told us all, she would have investigated Mr. White innoncent. If I got this wrong, correct me. On day two we had a big mess, we had two converted and no clues, but we had plenty of assumptions, as Erik King and Stash the Stylist and some more. But I don´t remember Mr. White being charged to be scum, so a normal investigator would be far too busy to investigate randomly yet unmentioned people, so and investigator would investigate those charged people, and someone who pretends being an investigator would pretend to have investigated someone of them, like Mr. King. Maybe she first decided to disguise as perfect as possible, but lateron got the idea to protect her boss like that, and then claimed Mr. White to be loyal. This would explain perfectly why she claimed to different people to be investigated. If i got the row of claiming wrong and she said Mr. White´s name first, then I think that she either was very stupid or Erik is really the boss. Anyways, we should really concentrate on the one she mentioned second, whoever this was. And the idea, that the stuttering shall hide him is quite interesting as well. I remember a story I once read in a newspaper article about the prohibition, that a 13 year old boy became a mob boss. It´s often the people who look most helplessly who are the Mr. Bigs in the end.
  13. How does a scum look? Your uniform looks like Carrie´s, and she was surely scum. And the faces of none of you look very scummy to me, so, if someone can really look like scum, then yes, you do. But don´t mind, we´re not gonna kill a policeman for wearing an uniform and claiming to have an incurable speech defect, right?
  14. Damn it, this is the final proof he´s scum! Only a big-shot mobster would seriously neglect, that his speech defect is cured, especially when it´s obvious he had such a good doctor. I say he´s a witch, let´s burn him! Hmm, I think we should back this up with some more scummy evidence.
  15. To return to the idea of investigating Mr. White or Mr. King, because one of them might be the Ronzini boss: It´s crucial that not only investigaters try to target them, but even more blockers, if the town has any, or even blockers of the rival gang, because I think, that this is the best chance to get rid of one of the groups, before they can sprout and convert even more (maybe up to 7) mobsters. This would highly increase the chance of the town o succeed and get rid of the scum. I think we had a very good start and should try to follow this achievement.
  16. Well, seems like we had a lucky night. None killed, just one converted and Carrie turns out to be scum. But I´m still wondering wether if the godfathers can only convert a certain number of times or if they can convert until they´re dead. And if there´s a certain number, I wonder, what it might be. Even if it´s just about five, in the end it would be 11 mobsters (2 godfathers + 10converted - Carrie) against 38 townies. Also the murderer of Carrie mentioned, that he now has to kill and convert by himself. This might mean, that he has now two night actions and that he can distribute both abilities on his fellas. If he can, than the converting wouldn´t stop before every member of the group is dead. I wouldn´t bet on it. While there is most propably only one Ronzini left, I guess, that Carrie, if she would have tried to protect him, would have mentioned only him. I think that she just randomly mentioned a townie who looks trustable and claims him to be innoncent. But it´s a clue we could follow, I just say we shouldn´t do anything irreversible.
  17. Sorry, I´ve been away to the supermarket to buy some potatoes to go. Did I miss something? Oh, yes, the conviction of Carrie. Damned! Well, it doesn´t do anything, but out of my firm conviction I have to vote: Carrie Price/Callmepie I know it´s too late, but i don´t care.
  18. Right, this is also possible. Even though I don´t believe it, but it´s up to the others wether to believe it or not. And, you told us you investigated last night. You can´t prove it, so it is possible that you can´t investigate (anymore?). It´s your word against the ones of shaun Dows. And by defeating his attacker he made a quite sober-minded impression on me. I know that´s no prove for anything, just wanted to mention it. Well, well, the 24 hours restriction is almost over ballot box is about to arrive. Seems like some sction is about to start now.
  19. I´m afraid, Mrs. Boy, that´s already the most evidence we´ll ever get. I guess, in the following days we´d be happy someone would give us that much of information, ´cause we now know, that either Carrie or Shaun is scum. But no mobster will ever again try to kill Shaun, and other Night Watch guys will propably not be as lucky as him. I say, we have to use this piece of information, or we will face real problems.
  20. You read wrong. I didn´t say I like more mobsters and psychos, I said that I want more mobsters than psychos. The best case was neither, but we oviously have at least some mobsters. I just think, that it is much easier to take on the mob than on some maniacs, that´s all. It´s funny, how one misread sentence can make you a suspect, but i don´t mind. I got nothing to hide.
  21. Well, if he has psychotic problems, then we will have to consider tomorrow wether if he´s dangerous or useful for the fight against the mafias. But I for myself think (and really hope), that there are more mobsters than psychpaths in this town. And even if he has been converted, it would mean, that the killer is either vigilante or other mob, and therefore he would still try to frame the real killer instead of you. Err, one more question...you mentioned, that you was one of these two people in Stashs house, and that both are investigators. Were you the one with the briefcase or the other? That´s not about the charge, I´m just curios.
  22. Actually, it´s your claim of "I wouldn´t take the chance" against Shauns "It was her". And, you forgot: You both agreed that Shaun would see who targeted him, and we all know someone tried to kill him. So, why should he lie about the one who tried to murder him?
  23. I have no idea what happened there. Anyways, what I said was first that you had the chance either to kill an investigator (as you surely believed) or to be caught. I assumed you took the chance, not knowing that Shaun can´t die. The second I said was, that I can´t imagine, why the result of your investigation today would help the scum more than us.
  24. I guess, you took the chance, just as Shaun said, either to kill someone whome you believed to be an investigator (as he told you) or to be revealed to him. And anyway, why should the scum have any ahttp://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?app=forums&module=post&section=post&do=reply_post&f=72&t=47273&qpid=828713dvantage of thge knowledge whome you investigated?http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?app=forums&module=post&section=post&do=reply_post&f=72&t=47273&qpid=828713 They know you can investigate, so therefore you were a target to them, if you would survive. If the investigated person seems to be scum, the other scum or a vigilante or we could take on him, if the investigated is town, I bet the scum wouldn´t kill him, because they try to kill each other,http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?app=forums&module=post&section=post&do=reply_post&f=72&t=47273&qpid=828713 if they are smart. So what are you hiding from us, which could use the scum ore than us? I´m now even more suspect of you than before.
  25. Wow, that´s a lot of stuff. So, let´s try to put it in some order: You both agree that: -there is a night watch (-Carrie is the leader and knows as only one all the members) -Shaun is a member -obviously Shaun can´t be killed at night. -Carrie can be converted -oviously someone tried to kill Shaun Furthermore Shaun said that: -He was attacked by Carrie -he didn´t tell everything on purpose, because Carrie could be converted Carrie replied that: -She didn´t attack him -Shaun said he was an investigator Now there are always four possibilities: -Shaun lied -Carrie lied -both lied -both believed to be true If both believe to be true, there is something very wrong, because Shaun saw Carrie attacking him, who said she didn´t attack him. Either she´s sleepwalking or the Professor has halluzinations, and I woulnd´t like someone killing in sleep or seeing people attacking him here, so we should vote of one of them, just to get rid of psychopaths who could kill us all without wanting. It is highly unlikely, but yet possible. If both lied it is most likely that the whole NW story is a big fake, and the only reason I could see them inventing such a story, was, that they were both scum, acting extremly insane. Very unlikely, to draw attention like this, but in this case it wouldn´t matter whome we kill, if they are both scum. If Shaun lied, then someone attacked him, but he wants to get carrie killed for this. He knows his attacker, but protects him and tries to blame carrie for this. Totally weird, if you ask me. The most propably case was only carrie lying, so that she tried to kill him, failed and now tries to survive somehow. If I forgot something, please tell me, ´cause my version doesn´t look good for carrie and i would hate to kill an innoncent police officer/vigilante group leader. Oh, just one more thing...Carrie, you mentioned to be an investigator, and whome you investigated yesterday, but...whome did you investigate tonight?
