  1. WOW!!! I love the feel of the MOC it's ... grim! I very much enjoy the platform as a whole, I too have been experimenting with the diagonaly tiles and I really like to see how it came out for you. After seeing it here on another post, I made a test with treasure chests lids and it also looks pretty cool, I'll try and add pictures later. Pirate
  2. Fantastic!!! So much detail in a small space, I especially like the fire on the roof and the whole front part of the MOC. I've always enjoyed seeing creativity when it comes to headgear for minifig's tire + round stud = win!!! I'm a conformist!! Pirate
  3. Very cool!!!! It fits perfectly with TLG's scale of vehicle, I really like the (simple bu effective) radar! I'm a conformist!!! Pirate
  4. May I join too? I have been looking at reviews made by graduates and am most interested!!!! Pirate
  5. Chrome Excellent work, I like the curves it really gives it that 60's feel! How about making one of those old styles gas pump to go with it? Pirate
  6. I LOVE THESE!!!! I especially like Plo-Koon's, the dark blue is so much nicer than the regular TLG blue one. Kit Fisto's is pretty cool too, I like the green accent. The models are super accurate and really look like the reference pictures. Keep brickin' Pirate
  7. Pertaining to Reddish Brown, I have recently bought a lot of reddish brown bricks (1000 + bricks), and am able to pretty much do a full color spectrum from very light to very dark almost like the old brown. The most obvious differences I can notice is from part to part e.g. 2x2 bricks vs. 2x4 where the 2x2 is way lighter than the 2x4, as if they had been molded using a different code/machine. I'll try and take pictures tonight and edit the post
  8. Welcome to the site, I hope you enjoy our company!!!! Here you can freely express your passion (see addiction ) for Legos as Commodore said ... I don't think anybody will give you grief over Lego's here!!! Enjoy!
  9. Great review, am soooooo jealous of you for having this set!!!! The new grievous looks pretty awesome and I will most definitely get the set once it's available her in Canada. I'm a conformist! (and reviewing!)
  10. LOVE LOVE LOVE the gatekeeper!!! Must have ... Many!! Seriously, great review! The set looks like it's pretty awesome and has a lot of useable parts for MOCs. I MUST have this set!!!!
  11. HAHAHA!!! Great idea, superb build!! Dead-on accuracy! I love it!!!
  12. Welcome to the forum!!! Hope you like what you've seen so far, looking forward to seeing/reading more from you!
  13. I MUST HAVE. I have been looking for a set with Plo Koon for the longest time and am not willing to spend crazy $$$ on the gunship just to get him. Thanks for the review and video review, most appreciated!!!!
  14. Thanks the super review!!! MUST HAVE .... MANY CASES!!!!! I cannot wait for these to ba available here in Canada (June I think?!) Spoiler = Not pleasant, that's kind of unfortunate but heh.. I'll still buy a box ... check that a crate ... chaeck that an entire skid of those!!!! Anyways, thanks again for the super review!
  15. Pretty cool!!!! It looks 50's ish with the wood paneling!!!! I really like the classic 4 wide style!!!!
  16. Welcome to the site, hope your enjoy our company!!!! I have also come out of my dark ages by quiting smoking, I have been smoke free for 7 months!!!! I had the same deal my my girlfriend (sadly it had to end after 6 months .. no more free Legos for Dave!) Anyways, again, welcome have fun!!!
  17. THIS IS SUPERB!!!!! The locomotive you modeled it after is pretty cool itself, I had never seen an engine like that all these streamlined lines and cool features must have been a royal pain to do!!! Your model is dead on as far as accuracy, it would be super cool to build the very first one in your post, the blue one!!! I'm a conformist!, this is awesome!!!!
  18. Hum ... Looks very interesting, I agree with many of you in saying it's probably not a must have. Still though it will probably include loads of cool parts in white. We'll see if the "minister of finance" aka wife lets me get it!!!! Anyways looking forward to more pics or a great review!!
  19. THAT IS BRILLIANT!!!! You did say earlier you had some clones etc.. Then you might want to consider a space marine type army with special units or like "recruited" (press ganged!! ) units such as these ones. Anyways, I'm more of a purist and don't really use any other parts or modify mine, but these (as well as your other posts) were definitely worth the while, looking forward to seeing more!!! FYI - I also have a LOT (20 some colors) of warhammer paint, I no longer paint/assemble units so if you want it I'm willing to part with it. PM me if interested so we can work out some kind of agreement.
  20. These are pretty awesome!!! I could see these being fielded in a Warhammer 40k game!!!1 They look like they might have been inspired by 40k Orcs !!! Superb work on the painting and customization!!!
  21. Very good presentatiom, I could use most if not all of these pieces. I especially like the 2 x 2 chest. I'm really hoping TLG will release another pirate line or build on the "suspended" 2009 line. Again, superb work on the presentation
  22. I've been meaning to build a Wall-E ever since I saw the movie. There are some pretty interesting ones over on MOCPages (none motorized though). That build is awesome!!!!!!
  23. I have built one myself for a 48x48 baseplate x 40 bricks tall to display moc's. It was pretty easy, 1 sheet of plexiglass 1/4 thick precut (at home depot with measurement taken @ home) 1 tube of epoxy glue, 1 carpenter's square rule thing et voila!!!!! total cost was maybe 40$-50& cad
  24. Sweet build!!!! The scooter is my fav!!!! It's pretty clever!!! keep brickin!
