I'm working on instructions for a new model. To save some time, I'm looking into LPub4. Everything works fine, but for some strange reaon, the flex-axle I generate with LSynth don't show in LPub. And the weird thing are: LDView does show them (& LDview is the selected renderer in LPub) and a ribbed hose I generated with LSynth does shop in LPub. I've attached the MPD-file I'm working on.

Oryx - My First Bike

Quite nice & goodlookin' MOC -
My reply to Rover_24 was the following: Hi Rover_24, The problem is that you don't give any credit to the original designer of the model: me. If I didn't spend over 50 hours devellopping the model and making the building-instructions, you wouldn't have been able to sell this item at all. I don't have a problem with you selling the car, but for me it's very important that my models are available to as many people as possible. That's why I provide the building instructions for free on my website and why it should be clear that the building instructions can be downloaded from my website. So pleasse, mention my name and website in your add, and then I'll leave you alone. Jurgen

How to power 28 motors?
Jurgen Krooshoop replied to coen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Oh man, this thing's gonna be huge !! -
This is his reply to my message: Beste rhodeslover1, I previously changed the description to fit what others have requested, I take no credit for designing it. Furthermore I don't understand why everyone is so upset, no where in there do I take credit for it and the instructions are free online. Thanks!

First of all, I'm not the friend the seller's talking about. I've never given anyone permission to sell either my models or my instructions. The only differences I can see between his model & mine are some construction errors in his version, making the car uglier. But as Paul allready stated, there's really nothing I can do about it. This won't prevent me from making more building instructions though. I've accepted the fact the other people will try to make a profit of it. And if somebody thinks it'll make one feel better taking advantage from someone else's work, than he/she must do so. But this doesn't mean I think it's okay, on the contrary. I don't want to worry to much about these things, but I couldn't resist sending the seller (Rover_24) a message. I sent him this: Hi rover_24, You are selling a Lego-model that I designed and claim that you designed it with a friend. This is incorrect. You know this just as well as I do that you stole my design, so there's no use denying that. You will do the following things: 1. State my name as designer AND 2. Make clear that building instructions for this model are available for free on my website AND 3. include a link to my website http://www.jurgenstechniccorner.com Jurgen Let's see what happens....

Technic Sport Car
Jurgen Krooshoop replied to raus's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
If the shock-absorbers would have been be used for a return-to-centre system, they should have been rotated 90 degrees lengthwise. I thinkk they are used for the suspension system. -

Nice car. Does it have Return-to-Centre steering ? I couldn't see in your video and Photo's -
Due to time limitations and the high complexity of the model, I've decided not to make instructions, sorry. I have very little Lego-time at the moment, and I'd like to spend that time building new models instead of sitting behind a computer-screen. Yes, RWD with 1 XL-motor & 10:3 gear reduction (12-20 --> 12-24).

Oops, sorry. Actually, the biggest part of the model was completed about half a year ago, but due to limited building time, I only recently finished it. And as experienced builder you know that you have to choose between functionality and looks, and I mainly focussed on functionality. It isn't my prettiest model, but everything works fine. But you're right, some panels could do wonders.

After half a year of very little Lego-time, I'm proud to present my Fully remote controlled Power Function Backhoe Loader: The main dsesign-goal for this model was to make a backhoe with Power Functions only (sorry, pneumatic-fans ) and to try to electrically implement all 9 essential functions of a Backhoe loader: * Steering * Driving * Outriggers * Loader Up/Down & Bucket * Backhoe Rotate, Up/Down, Arm & Bucket I specifically chose not to use pneumatics, to make the model totally free with no hoses connecting the model to the remote (as with my previous Backhoe Loader). Since the power functions-system only has 8 channels, I had to include a remote-controlled gearbox that swithes functions of 2 motors to achieve 9 funtions (5 + 2x2). Besides the motorized functions, it has a pendular front-axle and PF-lights on front and back. The Power-Puller wheels were the largest wheels I have (and exist as far as I know of), so they were te obvious choice for the rear wheels. These wheels are too wide, resulting in a model which is too wide and a central chassis of only 9 stude wide. There was very limited space inside the body to put in all the functions. The batterybox was placed under the hood, and as much motors were places outside the chassis as much as possible. 2 motors are inside the backhoe and 2 other motors were placed at the sides. The model turned out quite heavy, too heavy for the wheels, but driving still worked. The gearbox switches functions of 2 motors. The red lever on the remote switches between operation of the front loader and the backhoe. This way, operating the model is quite intuitive. I used Jason Railton thumbstick to operate the backhoe & the loader. It was combined with the steering wheel I designed for my small racecars. Moving up and down the backhoe turnded out quite slow. I had to use an M-motor inside the chassis, there was no place for an XL-motor anymore. The driveshaft goes through the gearbox and through the turntable. The weight of the backhoe caused quite some friction, so some gear reduction was neccesary to prevent overloading the M-motor.
