Pieces fresh out of the mold
Fires-storm replied to diabloiij's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Wow, those are very good! out of curiosity, what kind of molding machinery and plastic does he use? -
Wow, this is really excellent, and pure snot with creative parts usage to boot! Well done mate, and keep bricking!

Well done, the details are quite impressive! The timber effect does well, and you added just enough to it to sell it, without over doing it. Nice work

Yeah, I did want to tile the entire thing under the treasure, however I wanted it to not slide and stay where I put it, so it was a trade off of no tiles, ah well. Also, I tried that, but I kept the black because it just held together nicer. Hopefully this won't hurt me to much in the competition, I just like playing with my vig so it has to be durable I'll try to photograph the new set up and get it loaded either today or tomorrow.

Oh man, Egypt now!? Heck with PotC, when this comes out I'm going all out on it

I did tile the next level, don't worry And also, I just liked the blue, and I noticed that a lot of pharaohs and such had blue tile, as it was a sign of wealth. Also, I made the base plate black because thats the only color of 8x8 I have free But thanks for the suggestion, though I don't have the base pieces to implement it

Hey mates, I have a quick question. How many of you think my vig needs a second level, and if it does, am I allowed to replace the pics with new ones of it with the second level? Also, I used an old Johnny Thunder explorer minifig on the second level for the story of it. This is allowed, right? Thoughts on this would be much appreciated

Wow, this is an incredible build, I truly have no idea what to compliment first! the buildings, the style, the level of sheer detail, well done on it all! Truly keep bricking friend

Thanks, a spider and web wouldn't really be appropriate, as the throne room is still in use, and as for gold and gems, I was going to add more but I decided on them being in the pearl gold chest instead. There was originally a shot of it open but i decided to only include the best two of the bunch here. Thanks for the tips, as well as the kind compliment of saying its good p.s. also the throne, stairs, and mask are all supposed to be gold, and there is a gem tucked up in the arch, its just hard to notice. I wanted to make the throne ect pearl gold, but sadly they don't make those pieces, so I settled for yellow

This is my entry for the home of the pharaohs! Getting a call after years of searching, the professor quickly headed off to Egypt in search of the grail. there was talk that during the great crusades a group of brothers had taken it with them, hiding it in the desert, but he new better. the truth was that a pharaoh had found it during his conquest of Israel, and taken it back to his throne room as a trophy. Little did the professor realize that this pharaoh was still alive! He searched long and hard for the entrance, and finally finding it had his ultimate goal in sight. He charged in, ready to take it, when Admiral Ackbar appeared out of nowhere screaming "its a trap!" into his brain like an air raid siren. Sure enough, old fish face had been right, as the trap door activated, and he was doomed to land straight in the pharaoh's lap, listening to stale two thousand year old jokes for all eternity. And a bonus shot, of him about to seize the grail from the side: Thats my entry in a nutshell, hope you all enjoy it!

Well done, this is a pretty realistic looking little pizza shop! I like the detail, all the people enjoying their food, and only one question, why do they appear to have to leap to get from the stairs to the second floor? But truly, a great little moc, well done and keep bricking!

Man such a beautiful and large ship! Just a few things I love about this build are the modularity, the many play options, the idea of showing multiple types of shot, and of course, attack monkeys! This is a brilliant and beautiful design, well done and keep bricking!

A true and beautiful windmill to be sure! I love the detail on this, and even though it has the ladder and trees, I think they work quite well! And excellent build, I may have to use that sail technique
