The Arctic Tern was a plane that popped into my head after seeing a new and wondrous plane built by the incredible JonHall18. I started off as a single-seat sea plane in white and dark red, but started retooling it rapidly until eventually it became a two seated tan and white wonder. In summary of my builders commentary, I freaking love this plane Now on to the story. The Arctic Tern was developed by the Sky Pirates shortly after the war with the Baron started. They needed a good quick maneuvering warbird that could not only keep up with the Baron's best aces, but also go deep into very cold territory to do battle, and what they came up with was the Arctic Tern. A two seater with one cockpit facing the rear for observation and emergency take over purposes, this aircraft is like nothing else in the Sky Pirate arsenal. She is capable of operation at temperatures of up to -50 below farenheit, and can take a turn like a dream. The two men who fly her are some of the best in the business, and are personally responsible for 50 air-to-air kills and countless ground ones on the Arctic front. Stats: Speed: 400 MPH Climb: 390 MPH, due to losing very little speed with twin props and being exceptionally light. Dive: 410 MPH, again due to being light she doesn't gain much going down. Armament: Two heavy machine guns, 70 caliber, and one optional rear gun, as well as the possibility of being outfitted with dive bombs, torpedo racks, or normal bombs. She is shown in her scouting phase. Crew: 2 Armor: Experimental/classified. Now for pictures: The front: The side, love that profile!: The rear: And finally a bird's eye view!: Forgive me for the white background, as it makes the pictures a bit tough to see, but I did it on purpose to demonstrate the practicality of its color scheme. You can see how in the Arctic this plane would be insanely hard to spot over land, if not utterly disappearing for anyone above. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do!

Hello all, just wanted to bring you guys my second newest airplane. This one isn't really part of a story, it mainly got built just because I wanted to build it. I was trying out a theme masher and the result was sky-fi/suntron, so I thought I'd give it a go, and the end result is this racer. I made it yellow because I don't use it much, and then it sort of just evolved from there! I thought here would be a good place to share it First off, a full on front pic: And now for the side: And the tail: And finally a bird's eye view: I hope you all enjoy it!

Thank you for your kind comment! Also, there are no trans-clear 1x2 panels on the wings, but do you mean using them as a sort of makeshift windshield for it? I considered that, but I wanted to throw a bit of biplane into it, so made it completely open. Thanks for the thought though, I may try it if I make another version! -

Wow, what an amazing and masterful creation, this guy has some serious bricking skills for sure! Thanks for showing this here! -
This is awesome, I just recently watched the entire first season of Shaun the Sheep, and haven't laughed so hard in a good long time. Nice work on this!
-
Maybe, but I'm not sure yet honestly, the studded plates give the wings a beautiful shape, and are quite easy to build around and incorporate, as well as being strong as heck. But if I find a surplus of small tan 1x3 or 1x4 curves I might, though I doubt they make them Thanks for your opinion on it, i may try and see how snot wings look on it sometime as an experiment

Erm, up and down? how do you mean? Also if as in detailing you mean stickers and the like, I don't really do that, and other then that its accurate because old planes were amazingly smooth Also, in regards to Capt. Stabbin and Nightshroud99: as to the landing gear, since it is experimental right now, I haven't bothered with landing gear yet until I decide whether or not to keep it like that, but once it is titled done it will get them for sure! Thanks for the comments all

Well done on this brilliant review, thank you for showcasing one of my favorite Lego sets of all time!
-
OH GOSH! Thank you so much for doing this review, this just made my day! I remember seeing this in the magazines, but I was never able to get my hands on it because it was so expensive. This was a joy to see in partial build, and especially in this review, so again I thank you
-
Thanks mate, I'm glad you like them! And I definitely will
-
Wow, this is sheer and amazing brilliance! I love everything about it, definitely keep up the good work, and keep bricking
-
Thanks, I'm glad you like it so much, and trust me, I agree about the windscreen. I'm trying to get pieces to make a custom one in the shape of a WWII fighter plane, but keep experimenting with open ones at the same time

Hey all, this plane came about as a result of my love of WWII and late 1930's aircraft, and after seeing John Lamarck's unique style of building the tail of the fuselage using hinges to give it a unique shape, I decided to give it a try. I made it primarily tan, then threw in gray for good measure, and as a result it looked so much like a desert airplane that I had Johnny Thunder pilot the dang thing. Also, this plane is classed as "Experimental Design" Meaning I may repost it here at times with entirely different looks when the mood strikes me First off, some stats: Speed: 275-300 MPH 300 MPH being a good day. Climb: 260 MPH Turning Radius: Fairly speedy, about on par with a Japanese Zero. Dive: 300-310 MPH. Pilot: Johnny Thunder for now. Now for pics: The front: In the next two pics, my cat managed to get into my room because I left the door open, so in the shots you see her looming shadow about to end the little plane's life, shortly before she gets kicked out. Side: Tail section: And finally, a bird's eye view: I hope you all enjoy it, and the subsequent upgrades that may befall it!
