  1. Actually, I built the thing like a bloody tank. that was why it took 14 hours I can swoosh the thing hard as I like, and picking it up is a breeze
  2. Cool, it looks awesome!
  3. A cool little grill idea, and that must've been one huge pig What torso is that? Indiana Jones set?
  4. The pilot: Cassie Lowdale is a fairly new recruit to the Skypirates, same as Raina. She however has flight time under her belt, as she was a stunt pilot long before she joined up with the Skypirates. Here she is photographed standing beside her plane, the Silver Silence. The plane: Silver Silence is a plane I built for a fictional character known as Cassie Lowdale. This plane's build was largely inspired by the American Corsair from WWII, as well as the P38 Lightning and Shannon Ocean's amazing plane, which can be seen here: Thanks for the inspiration mate! Some basic stats should be included here, so..... Speed: Around the same as Raina's being 390 MPH. Turning: Can do a straight 90 degree turn or spin in a 30 foot arc. Armament: whatever she wants, if she wants any. Pilot: Cassie Lowdale. Dive: 430 MPH Climb: 380 MPH, it loses very little in the climb due to its powerful engine. Now on to the pics!: The girl and her bird: A front view: The side: The rear end: And finally a pic of its functions, plus some facts: As you can see, the wings fold when it is being stored after "Landing". It also features working ailerons, and is unique in that it has no landing gear. Like the Stingray this plane is intended to be dropped from and picked up by a zeppelin or other airship. It can be outfitted with emergency skids or wheels however. Another interesting factor is she usually uses no guns, instead running carrier missions and recon for the Skypirates. I hope you all enjoy this plane, all in all it took about 14 hours of build time to get it down to my wants. Forgive the dirty bricks, I was so excited to build I didn't bother cleaning them
  5. Wow, well done on this one mate! the sales are perfect with a nice pattern, the hull is perfect, the crew amazing, DEFINITELY one of the best out there! Keep bricking mate, keep bricking
  6. Thanks a ton mates, glad you both like it!
  7. I'm awarding all three to 20) Cheerleader & Surfer Entry (Build by mookage) For an amazing imaginative and beautifully colored build
  8. My votes are as follows 11) Jungle Explorer Entry (Build by Diidy) 15) Traffic Cop Entry (Build by Profound Whatever) 18) DJ Entry (Build by Optimus) Good luck in the contest all.
  9. Thank you for the kind comment, I'm glad you like it!
  10. Ah, this just makes me smile. Excellent job!
  11. Thank you! The tailless design is one of my favorite things to try to incorporate into any plane build
  12. Thanks, the wings are one of my favorite parts
  13. Thanks, I'm glad you like it! That was my main goal, see how many curves I could fit
  14. Thank you, I'm glad you like it! I think I'm one of the few people who when they saw the new AAT thought "Wow, great wings!"
  15. The Stingray is a fairly new design by Skypirate Industries. While it is mainly designed as a light scout and racer with no armament, it also has the unique capability of being completely amphibious, being able to travel underwater as well as in the sky. It also features unique hydraulics, doing away with the need for a standard tail section, giving it a small profile on radar, as well as sonar. Armament can be obtained for the plane, though it does not come standard, and it is often outfitted with torpedo tubes. Some stats: Top speed: 300 MPH out of water, around 100 nautical miles per hour below. Climb: about 275 mph. Dive: 350 mph. This bird is fairly heavyweight. Features: being amphibious it can be mounted with most anything able to shoot above water or below, but is mostly used for scouting missions. Pilot: anyone crazy or adventurous. And now, the pics! I hope you all enjoy the Stingray! 4th wall break: This bird was whipped up in about 2 hours, then under went modifications for the next 6. It was originally mostly dark blue, with dark blue wings, but eventually evolved into what you see, which I'm pretty darn happy with. It also has no real landing gear, as they would add weight, and it is designed to be directly dropped out of a landing platform anyhow, so the designer, namely me, saw no point. Many a pilot has had words with me about this during crashes over anything besides water, as the thing floats amazingly. I got the feeling that I was kind of posting the wrong vibe in the Sci-fi forum, as when everyone else was posting space ships and mechs, I was tossing in planes. Also I never posted here before, so I'm giving it a go
  16. I actually quite like this design, the rising sun motif on the platform is beautiful, the table is nicely set up, the pilot is very good, and the wings on the plane are excellent. One of my only qualms is that the cockpit is a touch forward for a true to form plane, but it looks perfect as a fictional fighter Well done, and keep bricking!
  17. I'm glad you like the design, and as to the rear wing, the explanation is as follows: I figured out that if you made the ailerons advanced enough they could act as the main stabilization for the plane, rather then an extra body, and incorporate more steering into the base wing design. Also, since it is a sci-fi story I decided for what-the-hey power and went for what looked good rather then what is typically practical. Depending on my building mood my planes will have a tail wing, or not Thanks for the comment
  18. Thanks, I'm glad you like the design! Also I was originally going to do a trans-clear cockpit, but trans-black matched the plane pretty well, and I also wanted to try to save the trans-clear for my white planes. I'm glad you like the rest of it though!
  19. I was originally going to make a regular P38 as well, but then it sort of snowballed into a red sci-fi plane with artillery for a main gun Glad you like it!
  20. Well done on this, the greebling, the slim shape, everything is wonderful. This is an amazing design, so keep bricking!
  21. Thats actually explained in the description She doesn't use any guns on her plane when its fitted for races, as the Skypirates like to win what money they don't steal from the Baron honestly Also, it is one of my most swooshy airplanes, as I pretty much put the strength of building a tank into a plane body to make it durable
  22. Ah, thanks! At first I thought you meant the shape, so I was a touch worried But yeah, once I get more bricks the plane is definitely changing up its colors a bit, and for now its being scrapped for a new plane
  23. Thanks, glad you like it! the white paint is also grand camouflage for when you above the enemy against the clouds
  24. Raina Garland is the pilot of the war plane White Bombshell. She grew up a normal young girl with dreams of the big city, and finally moved there in her 20's. One day working at a local night club, two Skypirates came in, and she was forever dragged into their world. Above is just a bit of the back story behind the character, and now a bit about her aircraft. The White Bombshell was developed in the late 1930's by Raina Garland and a squad of highly skilled engineers aboard the Skypirate fortress Dark Storm. She had it custom designed to her specifications, each time testing it to the limit, and adding better cannon, better engines, better wings, as much as she could. Specs: Speed: 400 MPH, aiming for higher yet. Turning radius: Able to complete an 80 degree turn on a dime. Armament: 4 50 Calibur machine guns, and 2 7MM cannon. Not scene here, as she currently has her plane set to racing specs. Dive: Max dive speed is 600 MPH. Climb: Can exceed 370 MPH. On to the pics! First up, Raina next to her Warbird: And now, on to the bird itself! Thats Raina and her Warbird in a nutshell folks, hope you enjoy it!
  25. Well done, this looks quite good! The level of detail on this is very accurate, such as the wagon, poles, and grass, as well as the uniforms. I like this quite a bit actually, good work and definitely keep bricking
