  1. I've love if the $70 set turned out to be a Batcave, but then again I hoped that the biggest BVS set was going to be the Batcave as well back in 2015. If we're only getting three sets, then I think Lego will throw one villain in each just to make it necessary to buy all three due to their exclusivity. 76179: Batcycle with Catwoman and her bike 76181: Batmobile chase with Penguin in his own car like we saw in the trailer 76183: Some big final battle type of set with Riddler in his lair?
  2. It was supposed to be June 25th 2021 for the longest time. Then thanks to the pandemic, it got moved to October 1st, and now it's March 4th 2022. So if none of what happened happened, we probably would've been getting finalized images of the sets soon, which hurts.
  3. As long as that Hasbro restriction remains where only they can sell individual figures of characters (unless that restriction has been changed recently, I don't keep up with that stuff), then there's never going to be a Marvel or Star Wars CMF series.
  4. I was about to ask the same thing. I hope it hasn't been delayed or pushed back, I was waiting to get it as soon as it hit midnight.
  5. I can easily see Lego reusing that Celestial build for future Sentinel designs in an X-Men set, and even if they don't, it'll definitely be something I'll be doing since it'll tower over minifigures with its 30 cm height.
  6. When you put both of them side by side you can really notice how much of a difference 14/almost 15 years of printing quality has. The logo on the 2021 version isn't 100% the same as the 2006 logo, the bat head is slightly smaller, and I kind of wish that the belt printing was horizontal like the 2006 one instead of slightly curving, but those are just minor nitpicks. What really speaks volumes it is the amount of detail on the utility belt. The old one looks so primitive compared to what we're getting now, but that's to be expected with a "remaster" of a previous minifigure. Also, now that we have the updated Hush suit, all's that left is to get an updated version of the 2007 blue Batsuit with the big Alex Ross logo and Lego will have officially updated all 4 Batsuits from the original Batman line. Getting a Dark Knight Returns Batman in a DC CMF Series 2 would be the perfect place to make it happen, plus it would compliment the Joker we got from Series 1.
  7. YESSSSSS I'm back in 2006, that Batman minifigure is everything I was hoping for! The torso, the logo, the belt printing (I still think it'll be bright yellow since the picture of the bag with the pieces had it in that color), all look like the original 2006 torso but modernized. And those new legs with the updated boot design, I'm getting at least 4 of these packs for sure.
  8. Technically second since we got Doctor Doom as a minifigure in 2013 (not really the greatest idea in hindsight since it took almost 10 years to get SOMETHING else F4 related with this Bagman tease). But hinting at the Bagman suit, which was only used during the symbiote story in the comics, must mean that Lego knows there's a demand for the black suit...right? I just really need it, or at the very least a plain black Spider-Man head with white eyes, that's still the only exclusive piece the SDCC black suit has.
  9. Or Lego continues this detailed route and makes a Superman next with the same type of trunks printing and updated boot printing like his DC Super Villains model:
  10. Gold could be another option too. And I'm not a fan of the trunks either for Batman or Superman in general. But I have an exception when it comes to the Hush suit, it just works somehow. I agree about them looking oversized on a minifigure when it's actually printed on the legs, I kind of wish Lego used a black hip piece instead like they always used to do to represent the trunks.
  11. We got some blurry images of the pack...AND THAT BATMAN IS EVEN BETTER THAN I THOUGHT! The torso is exactly what I was hoping and dreaming about for the past 2 years, and did Lego deliver! I just more need clear pictures since the belt looks like it's a tan color now instead of yellow from before, but it might just be the image quality. What's even better is that his dual molded legs are actually different from the First Appearance minifigure, they're finally pointed at the top of the boot area instead of flat! So unless this figure comes out in a 2021 set, the torso and legs are exclusive to this pack, and I can't wait to get my hands on a couple of these at least. The other figures are alright as well, nice that there's a cheap way to get the new Harley now. Penguin's umbrella though is pretty creatively built, now he can actually hold it like it's in its umbrella gun form instead of just an umbrella.
  12. Speaking of dreams...is anyone else kind of hoping that with Tobey seemingly returning, Lego can make a set or two based on Raimi's Spider-Man 3 as a little bonus? I don't know if Lego either lost the rights or wanted to discontinue the original Spider-Man line after the sets for Spider-Man 2 were done with, but this could be their second chance to finally complete the trilogy and make a few of the minifigures that everyone spent years making customs of to compensate for Mega Bloks getting the Marvel license. I'd do anything to finally get an official Raimi black suit minifigure instead of searching for custom decals of it online.
  13. The legs are 100% dual molded thanks to that out of the package picture that shows the bag with the pieces. You can kind of see the back of the Batman torso too, bright yellow belt printing in the same design as the 2006 torso. I need some HD pictures of this already. Also the Batman Activity Book leaked, it's just the same black suit Batman with the new open/gliding cape.
  14. When you see the picture in the usual place that it's at, look almost right in the middle of the packaging and you should be able to see a bat symbol. You may have to squint a little, but its there.
  15. Almost identical to the original. It makes me glad that they still kept him in the Hush suit for the past 2 years in the comics without changing it again. The Batman/Catwoman #1 issue that came out this past week for example is what I'm guessing it's going to look like in minifigure form, which is perfect for me, it's like 2006 never left.
  16. Yup I can kind of see the legs as well at the top of the package along with a black looking boot behind the sticker. I can't believe we'll be getting an updated version of the 2006 grey Batsuit at last, it's going to look great with the rest of the original Batman line of minifigures. As for the Twitter thing, I'll message you so that things won't get off topic here.
  17. Now that I took a second glance at it, I might actually be wrong. In the middle of the pack in the picture, you can sort of see a bat symbol, and it doesn't look like it has the yellow/gold outline that the Rebirth suit does. The torso is in a light grey instead of the dark bluish grey as well...I think my prayers are finally being answered after all this time.
  18. I have a bad feeling the Batsuit is going to be the same Rebirth suit once again. How much longer can Lego keep pumping out that minifigure before they decide to make an updated Hush Batsuit design already.
  19. And it's not even the amazing 2015 Carnage that had the arm printing which was based on the Earth-616 incarnation. We only ever got him in one set and ever since then Lego's been reusing the same 2018 Carnage that's based on the Ultimate version in two (about to be three) sets that feature Carnage as the villain.
  20. As long as they're actually coming, I don't mind waiting. I was starting to get tired of the "the movie looks really violent/borderline rated R so we might not be getting sets" talk.
  21. If by some chance that does end up happening then I won't stop until I somehow get a copy of it, even if it's a US exclusive. Though I think that'll be a little hard to recreate considering Batman wouldn't be able to hold the thug in minifigure form like he is on the actual cover. And I feel like a set like that would've been made for last year's 80th anniversary celebration instead of this year, but on the other hand, Lego didn't have a First Appearance Batman minifigure like they do now that they can reuse.
  22. And if this turns out to be another hit, what are the odds of Lego making a UCS Batskiboat in 2022 to celebrate Batman Returns's 30th, with minifigures of Batman in his updated Batsuit, Catwoman, and Penguin?
  23. That one actually might be the best option now that I'm looking at it.
  24. I feel like we will. Battinson's cowl is unlike any of the other live action cowls we've gotten up till now, and none of the existing cowl moulds are a close enough match for it.
  25. Whatever you are, have fun being banned soon after what you just posted in the Harry Potter topic.
