That's a great army! I love all the 1970s figs. Those are my favorite. I had three Knight's Procession sets as a kid. 18 knights. Then I lost one in the back of our station wagon during a trip to Vancouver, Canada. I still have nightmares about searching for that fig to this day.

Please don't take offense, but I was hoping someone has asked Lego and received an official response. I can speculate too... Regarding three molds, they already have the hip mold, so they would only mood two molds. Regarding making a difference, it would make a huge difference! You could pose children, hobbits, dwarves, etc. it isn't as fun having them all stand at attention.

Has anyone heard a good reason why Lego hasn't made short legs that fold? The short Duplo figures can sit, so why not Lego?

This thread is way too long! Crazy long. Any suggestions on where to look for photos of new sets coming out? Is there a summary thread somewhere?
-
If I remeber correctly from the earlier photos, there is a drawer on the right side that pulls out with Lurtz in it to simulate being born from the mud. Looking at the new drawing, it looks like the drawer is still there. Too bad there isn't a third Mordor Orc hiding in it. :)

How many Uruks do you plan to collect for the siege?

I don't see the harm in replying to old threads. -
Is that at the bottom of every page? Shows my attention span. I never make it to the bottom of a page! lol Thanks!

I agree with glyn! -
If you look to the left of threads there are different color bricks. I've figured out that if I post in a thread the brick becomes a technic brick with a hole in it, but what do the different colors denote? Thanks for informing the noob! lol

I know, I know! You are starting a new thread?

I'm also hoping they improve the nazguul figs! I love the new horses, orcs, Uruks, fellowship, and on and on and on.... But the nazguul look too much like Harry potter figs. They need a new hood and cloak. Also, would have loved a new hat and staff for Gandolf. My guess is we get them in future releases.

After LOTR Lego ends in 5-10 years most of us will have more than 7 nazguul I suspect... They will probably be included in other future sets, so I'll be happy with two of them for a while.

Big medieval landscape: BIG UPDATE on page 26

I guess I will have to keep checking in... Which is probably what he wants! I agree; what a meanie! -
Awesome castle! The photos were a lot of fun to look at. I love the interior shots. The great hall is epic.

Everything is awesome. Could you post a photo of the entire layout? Thank you! -
The Brickshow should invest in a hand model. So much air time spent looking at ugly thumbs. lol Also, I agree that the host is annoying. A true "show" doesn't have long pauses while the host reads an iPad. In any case, the detailed minifig filming was great. The figs are the best TLG has ever produced in my opinion. Awesome stuff. Yeah, that is a pretty funny opinion. I found some of the battle scenes too long, especially in ROTK.

I'm getting them all at least once. These are epic Lego sets! They have done a great job with all of them. Hopefully I can convince my 2 and a half year old son to ask for them for his birthday. :) Here's hoping for a Hobbit advent calendar!

Looks great! The stairs are really nice, and I like the feeling that the dungeon expands more than we see. I bet there is an edit wizard hiding somewhere! It would be fun to reshoot this with the LOTR orcs once they are out.

This deserves some votes. Why are only the recent posts receiving votes?

It works with Safari. Great stuff!

Glad you aren't going to buy the Uruk-Hai Army! That leaves more for me!

Wow, that was really well done. Your photos are great but they always leave me wanting to see the display in person! The elvish treetop village is by far my favorite part. Perfect colors and shapes. If you have the bricks, I'd love to see you expand that. I may have to copy that at some point. The bridge is also great. You didn't spend much time describing it but it is really nicely done. Forget the cupcakes, I want to steal your creation!
