  1. Hello! Nice to meet you! PJ went to a lot of effort to create weapons and armor specific to the different regions in Middle Earth. I'm hoping Lego goes to the same length... I'd love to see specialty armor for the orcs, goblins and Uruks.
  2. Artifex, That would be great! It would really slick if each of the sets stacked to form a giant tower...
  3. As someone else pointed out already, it is great Saruman was left out for anyone wanting to purchase multiple sets. Everyone wants one Saruman fig, but I would think most people don't want two... My guess is Saruman will appear later in an Orthanc set.
  4. Bricklink has plenty of pieces available for someone rich like you.
  5. Duh! Of course they can! lol.
  6. Time to pin this thread and unpin 2011 Kingdoms. Oh, and I love the sets so far! I MOC, so it is all about pieces I can reuse. I don't see any prefab wall pieces, I see brick built walls! This is a huge step forward! I love getting tons of grey bricks along with the awesome figs!
  7. Evangeline Lilly is great news!
  8. The fellowship looks great, but I really want to see some photos of the goblins, orcs and Uruks!
  9. Very nice. This has a great swampy feel to it, and I love the fish turning colors as they are cooked/preserved. It would be cool to see some sort of critter sticking it's head out of the bog. Maybe the collectible mini figs Godzilla costume head?
  10. Wow, that is great looking! Very well designed and executed in such a short period of time.
  11. I don't mind LOTR replacing Kingdoms. I have plenty of bricks so I like new figs, horses, etc. I will miss the peasant themed sets. We were finally starting to see villages, windmills, etc. I was hoping for some more variety.
  12. That is awesome! You did a great job! A couple of questions... How long did it take you? Did you take photos during construction? I'd love to see the underside of the angled buildings and walls. Also, is there an interior? I want to see this in person!
  13. If the minifig list is accurate, I'm very pleased by the variety. I plan on purchasing every set, (and multiples of many when the wife isn't looking), so I'm glad I won't have a ton of Frodo's! Of course if the torso, head and hair are great I won't mind... I'll use them to create more peasants or unique figs in MOCs. It is the Harry Potter figs I can't stand. What are you supposed to do with dozens of Griffendor sweaters?
  14. Looking forward to Lego Middle Earth!

  15. I wold prefer zero skeletons or one at most...with more goblins! Oh well, I guess I'll have to build a crypt at some point.
  16. Lego is supposed to be fun! This is an escape from the sometimes depressing real world. Don't let the topic infuriate you so much.
  17. Awesome! The orcs look great. I'm sure the price for those heads just went up on Bricklink!
  18. LOTR is coming! No it's not! Yes it is! No it's not! lol ********** This thread summary brought to you by a Lego fan hoping for a LOTR release but happy with any castle Lego sets.
  19. Wow. Even my wife was impressed! That is an amazing model. If only FIFA had that kind of dedication!
  20. The Lady of the Lake would be a great fig. In fact, how about an all female faction? It would be nice to increase the estrogen levels a little in the Lego kingdom. Maybe too much testosterone is why there aren't more peaceful figs?
  21. What a great idea, and very well constructed! Nice work. The MOC is beautiful.
  22. Yes, I haven't seen that thread. The griffin and boar are very cool. Any chance you could add boar to the list and turn this into a poll when you merge the threads? Let everyone vote for two...
  23. OK, so the new line Lego released looks pretty nice, but I'm a little disappointed that they are doing Lions again. The dragon heraldry looks good, but is still a redo. So, what animal, creature or symbol would you like to see that hasn't been done before? (I am leaving out real world religious symbols because I don't think Lego will ever do them...) Just to make things interesting, you can choose two for a new castle line... Here are the choices. (I'd like to make this a poll to add up the results, but the poll icon doesn't appear for me). Crossed Swords Thorned Rose Rooster Griffin Unicorn Tower Wizard Hat Fleur de Lys Four Leaf Clover Blazing Sun
  24. How many do you have? I'll buy them from you... especially in the older color gray.
  25. Being an American, this was an easy choice. I have all three sets, but the Guarded Inn holds the fondest memories. It wasn't released in the US, and I discovered it while traveling Europe on a High School trip. I purchased it and brought it back with me... It completed my King's Castle, (original) Blacksmith Shop, Armory and guarded wall... The Black Falcon's didn't stand a chance even with their three fortresses...
