  1. I prefer good cars ;-) I've seen some great 4W models and some bad and dull 6w (or even 8W) cars. It's a matter of harmony of shapes and details. My answer is 4-6W it depends. But never 8 Wide. :-|
  2. That is a great barber chair you made *y* and if it functions like the one in Sweeny Tod, that's even better. I think it deserves a scenery to go with it, maybe a bignette of Sweeny Tod's house, that would love to see ;-)
  3. That is a great minifig scale piano *wub* I just don't like the yelow wheels, I think it would look better without them, or in another color (white, grey...) Good work *y*
  4. I totally agree, we need more variety of cars and more detailed. I don't agree with the scale problem Joebot mentioned. One thing I don't like in the new 6W cars is that they are bigger but less detailed, they could be so much better. Doors is just an example :-/ I have to make a sticker "save car doors" :-D I don't expect Lego to make cars like Misterzumbi *wub* ...but they could be a lot better. And Lego is releasing some good models in the racers theme, Tiny Turbos and so, but their not minifig scale :-( Speed Racers is not a good example too, sure they are big (8W too big) but not much of detail either (not for that size).
  5. Thanks. *sweet* And the funny thing is that I only got the ideia for the 2nd and 3rd vignettes after I took the photos of the 1st. ;-)
  6. I know it's a bit late for Valentines Day, but still I wanted to share a vignette (or 3) I made about it. It's called: Love Happens. *sweet* And the BS folder Thank you for your comments.

    Advice Needed

With ebay you never know, the price difference can just be pure luck ;-) I've seen same sets in same conditions beeing sold for twice the price. It depends most of who is bidding at the moment.
  8. Even the small round marks in the corners where less visible (invisible in some) in older windows. I know that invisible injection marks is impossible but it doesn't need to be a big hole like we see in todays windows. Yes that's a good use for them :-D
  9. Fantastic work *wub* And you even managed to include all the castle factions in it... Great story in this moc, it doesn't need any words to be told, the images are more than enough. *y*
  10. Yes I agree. But I think it's good to bring these things to public and show our discontent, at least to show Lego that we are aware. It is also our job to make the Lego Company keep up the good quality, like we were used to have. :-$ A little complaining once in a while is good for their (and our) buiseness.
  11. Yes they are in very bad shape. But I have to say I was very carefull with my toys and always liked to have them in order, I even kept almost all my Lego boxes... but these pieces were really abused. I remember that I liked the space minifigs so much and played a lot with them in the tub pretending they were divers :-D
  12. This is a problem I started to pay more attention when Cafe Corner came out, almost everybody notice the big marks in the windows. Did they exist before, why are they so big, why are they in the midlle of the windows?... Recently with the pictures of the new Green Grocers I was shocked to see even more marks in the windows glass. To put it out clear I went to my old sets cabinet and opened my 6374 from 1983. Technology and the injection methods are supposed to be better now then 25 years ago, or not? See for your self how old windows were much better quality: and now compare to this picture of GG To me these windows are good only for post apocalyptic mocs, with all those bullet holes... *wacko*
  13. I did a vignette some time ago using my worst pieces, some are even broken... I called it "space veterans" These are my most abused played pieces and minifigs from childhood, they are about 25 years old. I took BW pictures to make it look less scary. BS gallery
  14. This is incredible (by todays standards). Lego did sell minifig sets back in the past, so this isn't original but is very good to see that they are listening to people desires again. The plastic package option looks strange to me. I mean they give us crappy boxes in the big expensive sets and now they make expensive (and enviromental unfriendly) packaging in the cheap sets :-| (The SW minifig packs are diferent they have to include the crappy veichles because of the license, I think)
  15. Great idea and very good building technics, the face in the front is excelent *wub*
  16. Great work *y* *y* You really must have worked hard to do all these maps. Are you a history teacher?
  17. Thank's *sweet* It's nice to still have comments about this moc. By the way, does anyone know when the results of the CCCV will be anounced?
  18. X-D the mistery continues... the guy with the ax is a suspect for shure ;-)
  19. This was one of the first sets I bought when I came out of the "dark ages". It's an impressive set with lots of bricks and plates, it looks great on display and the F1 car is really well designed. I also liked the 6 minifigs and all the acessories. But this set also has some big cons: The sticker sheet is huge, torso stickers (this was a major disapointment to me) I even write to Lego complaining about that (they agreed and send me an extra sticker sheet as some sort of compensation); There are some fragile parts in the construction that if you play with it they are always falling (the 1x8 tiles in the side of the cabin, the big tiles that make the doors of the truck trailer fall easily when you open, even the front of the truck falls from time to time); And the most disturbing thing to me, I dind't realize at first why the driver didn't fit in the cabin, I thought I made a mistake following the instructions, but no, you have to take off the hat to seat him (this is hilarious in such a big truck) The details in the front of the truck are all made with stickers (grill, headlights...) Conclusion: I loved the set and I hated it at the same time, it could be a great set if some of this flaws where corrected) but I think it's worth the (sale) price *y* And I put on the torso stickers, because they wouldn't be Ferrari minifigs without them :-D
  20. Yes, always keep the boxes *y* About the space it's a pain but I have a method of minimize that by putting smaler boxes inside bigger ones, it's a very chalenging game... my favourite Tetris :-D
  21. X-D X-D X-D You got it right, great deduction!
  22. This is a great work *wub* the kind of moc I like, not big but packed with great details. One of my favourites for the CCCV. I see competition will be though (your moc is in the the same category as mine ;-) )
  23. Thank you Hinckley :-) My mental health is good I'm am a very calm person really... This moc was inspired by the pieces Lego made this year skeletons and so... As for the burgers I dindn't had much choice either was monkey or horse meat (I don't have Lego dogs so...) ;-) Ah, Ah!... now, that is the question! :-| I seems to be a very hungry person...
  24. Very well done, nice scene and good looking houses *y*
  25. No, no... horse burgers, not human :-X But if you read the introduction to the moc: "The Knight has an information of a possible plot to kill the King. Did he arrived on time?...Check the image carefully to know the answer." So now you know the answer ;-)
