Thanks Ingmar! I decided to go with black cab, red roof and som "styling" in DBG! To only reason to why i dont want a white cab is because I like to have my models on display and so my son can play with them, and white isn't that good i sunlight. :( A bonus is it will do well in my fleet of trucks with Grazi's tow truck, Whirl & Wheel and so on! ;)

@ Horace T, thanks! It's my first sort of moc/mod with the "new" kind of Legos. Well the double rear wheels mod is designer Han's but the extension and the 5'th axle is all mine. Everything works on it as intended! Next step will be another bigger crane and rc'fying it! ;) @ Doc, this is only the Model Team sets I have built right now, I have lots and lots of 80's technic sets. When I get time I will try to build them all and take some photos of them. Let's just say I was Lego crazy 20 years ago and it hasn't let go yet! ;)

Well as some of you have seen I've recently started to build Andrea Grazi's wonderful Tow Truck. So my plan for this thread is to show all of my builds. I mostly build Model Team and studded Technic sets, but i have bought all the recent flagships in Technics and have built the 8285 Tow Turck and the 8258 Crane Truck and the 8110 Mog. I'm not really in to studless Technic yet, but hey I have only built 3 models yet and have many more i in boxes waiting to be done! ;) Well back to Grazis Truck now. As i said i just LOVE the old Model Team sets those were my precious when i was a kid (31 years now). Lack of parts for my Grazi build I took out my Mog and tried some minor mods on it! Aligned the front axle etc. Those PP wheels are da*n big! :)

Yes, I should have done it from the beginning. I will do it tomorrow and maybe some nice mod can help me lift out all my post to that thread then! ;)

Stunning! I'm looking at the pics with my iPhone and having a hard time to tell if it is Lego or the real thing!

Today I've started the build, have taken some photos and will try to upload them some day as the build progress. I must say this is really an amazing MOC!

It hasn't been easy or cheap (started from zero about 1 month ago) But here is 97% of Grazi's Tow Truck just 6 wheels, 2 motors and som pneu left! ;) As you can se i went with the old style motors so it will be Grazi's design right through! Whoops sorry about the CRAPPY PHOTO :( my iPhone didn't do better...

So now I'm gathering parts for this beatiful MOC but I already have alot of the cab parts in black and I like black so I'm thinking of doing it in mostly black. Red chassis, black cab but not the whole cab the dark blue and the blue I'm thinking something like dark gray. What do you think about that? Is it possible, do all the roof slopes etc exist in dark grey? Or maybe the roof in red as the chassi?

When I was young I always wanted the 8880 but could never afford it :( But today I got my self one! :) Complete with nice box and everything, so now I feel very good! :D

I can see the picture! (Even though it's 90 degrees off) ;) looks good and makes even more angcious to build it myself!

I'm seriously thinking about it. We'll se what I will do?

The white one is awesome! First I couldn't figure out where the doors were from then I got it, (The Racing truck) :) Now I got more than 90% of the parts to build Grazi's Tow Truck so in the holidays the build will begin! I promise to take a lot of photos! ;)

Exactly my idea! I've made a pretty big P51 in LDD so now I must build it!

Ah I know exactly what to build in Jan-FebruAIRy! So I'm voting for that! ;) (Is it ok to build studded Model Team themes, With technic solutions?)

Wow i love your creations! The US Truck and this trailer is next on my "to build" list after I'm finished with Grazi's Tow Truck! Looked at rebrickable and I had about 35% of the parts to be able to build the truck. Gotta BL alot of blue parts! :D

Indeed jonwill! I have tried "the new technic" trucks now but they can't compete with this! Not even close! I would defenetivly buy big high detailed sets!
