Here is one that I did in LDD. If you are interested, I can send you the LDD lxf file. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41747&st=0&p=736178&hl=modular%20blue%20bank&fromsearch=1entry736178

I submitted an email as well, but didn't hear anything back. After a few days I called and TLG said the request had been processed and it would take 10-15 days to arrive. Update: The gold arrived today, well only coins (in the old style) There was a letter included which stated that "TLG does not make the gold bars in a metallic color but hopefully we will in the future" I called back to verify that was the case, since I had seen the gold bar posted by the OP. I was told they didn't have any but they are now being included as part of the production now, so in the future the sets would have metallic gold bars. I am wondering if there is a difference in what is available between the U.S. customer service and Europe. Maybe they just don't have any more left. Has anyone in the U.S. received metallic gold bars?

Are POTC sets too expensive?

Out of curiosity: does the quoted Euro price include a VAT tax? When I was in Portugal, it seemed like the stated price was the full price to pay, but I'm not sure if it is the same throughout Europe/UK. I realize there is still a difference if you include American sales tax (anywhere from 4-10% depending on the state) but that would reduce the discrepancy a little. -
Thanks for putting the set and review together! All of your pictures will help make the build a little less difficult.

None of the heads from White Cap Bay, The Mill, or London Escapes are filled. I haven't gotten any of the smaller sets yet. Which figure's head was different? -
Review: Escape from Dragon's Prison
MCNwakeboard replied to MCNwakeboard's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I agree that it would look better if the printing had a more complete look. I took a picture to compare it to the other Kingdom pieces and it actually isn't all that different from the barding from the prison tower escape set as they booth look like the printing was cut off. Perhaps the Lion piece doesn't appear as noticeable because you can see the black outline and you assume the armor ends there, but they both have the chain mail that appears to be cut off in the middle. The barding from the Crownies and other factions have bad good print jobs across the whole horse, so I know they have the ability to do a better job. -

Yes, there is a chipped tooth, probably similar to the convicts in the City police sets. -
Escape from Dragon's Prison Set #7187 Review 185 Pieces SRP $19.99 Escape from Dragon's Prison could be considered the army builder set of the latest Kingdom's wave. It comes with four minifigures and the first dragon minifigure with a horse and dark green barding. The prison structure is small but has some nice play features. 3 bags and instructions (no card board wrapping, but in good condition) The Minifigures- new face prints for me and no pink torsos Double-sided heads Dragon Knight- probably my main reason to buy multiple versions of this set. The torso is not a new version, but as Inkog pointed out in his post on the Kingdom sets, it is a new armor printing along with the drak grey helmet and visor. The large shield is also new. Full Set View Front View of the Prison- lots of brown pieces for battlements. Rear View of the Prison- prison door and precious ruby Short archway - not quite high enough for a mounted knight to pass under. Extra pieces- not much but that is to be expected from a small set I think this is a great set for the figures that are included as all the mounted knights in the prior Kingdom sets were at higher price points ($50 and $100) Dragon Knight leaving the mountain fortress (unfortunatelly not included in the $20 set) My link

This building looks great, but really big. I would suggest some kind of factory/assembly on the bottom floor and maybe offices/labs on the top floor. Great Job!

Yes, I've played all the Age of Empire Series except for the Age of Mythology and enjoyed them quite a bit. I believe Ensemble Studies was bought by Microsoft and then later shut down. But a great strategy game and good online play with AOE III.

Yes, the prices can be good but the pictures and descriptions can be lacking.

Actually I got a free pick a brick cup today (in the US) with the purchase of the Maersk Train. I think the minimum purchase is $75 for the free cup. If you check the April Lego calendar it has the details. Look at the bottom right circle promotion. edit to add link

You can often find castle minifigures in lots sold on shopgoodwill.com. It seems like they come from all different castle themes, but usually the price is a bit cheaper than ebay. They had 2 of the chess sets on auction last week, so you just have to keep watching. http://www.shopgoodwill.com/search/SearchKey.asp?itemTitle=lego&catid=0&sellerID=all&closed=no&minPrice=&maxPrice=&sortBy=itemEndTime&SortOrder=a&showthumbs=on

I'm hoping that the B&N pre-orders will ship before the May 1st expected date if other stores are possibly getting them next weekend. If you are planning on getting the sets on pre-order from B&N, you might consider buying e-gift cards through plastic jungle which offers them at 9% off face value. I've used them for TRU as well as other B&N purchases and it has worked fine. Keep in mind that B&N will only let you use 3 gift cards per order. https://www.plasticjungle.com/gift-card/Barnes-and-Noble (Note TRU gift cards are out of stock for now though they do have normal Babies R Us gift cards that are available at a 10% discount) ABC gift cards (http://www.abcgiftcards.com/store/featured-merchants-in-stock-toys-r-us-br-8-off-c-1_114.html) has TRU gift cards available at an 8% discount -
I purchased the musketeer, mad scientist, and the hockey player to complete my collection. I also won 20 lbs of Lego from Shopgoodwill.com. Hopefully there will be something good in there although some times there are meg@blucks mixed in there. Usually you can get bulk lego there for about 5$/lbs, although they are starting to strip out the figures and selling them separately. Waiting for Pirates to come out now.

Wow, for your sake I hope this is an April fool's joke, but I would love some extra castle sets, especially Vikings as I missed out on that theme due to my dark ages.

Hunting is fun, but with the time involved in going to get them, I did the same thing in ordering them from the TRU website. -
Awesome Prizes! I can't wait for April 1st

Fantastic MOC from my favorite broadway play! Very nice details and great story that is still being played today (literally in the middle east) I also like your brick built cannon.

I would also have to say the Emerald Night brought me into trains. I had always wanted a lego train growing up but could never really afford them or I was more into Castle and Pirates. I fell in love with the Emerald Night when I saw it. It was especially easy to convince my wife to get the Emerald Night since she loves Christmas/Decorating for Christmas and it goes very nicely with the Toy Shop and Bakery around our tree during the holidays. Now I am anticipating the Maersk Train that will be released in less than a month!
