  1. The horse would have been brickbuilt so not much point anyway True, but that was only because they did not have the budget to mould them then. They came in 7189 Mill Village Raid a few years later and a similar set as MMV today would never have had brickbuilt animals. To me they and the duck always looked out of place with the moulded animals in the set. However this is Creator 3in1 and they never come with any moulded animals with print anyway, so was not expecting any
  2. If they do not make money on the horse piece that cost over 5$ a part then they are doing something really wrong! I do not think the price or earning money is the problem, but the limited space and the number of people allowed at work because of the pandemic
  3. I agree with @williejm However there is a moulded ladybug in "Friends Accessories, Flowers and Insects, 20 in Bag (Multipack)" from a few year back. I usually do not use Friends animals, but the multipacks are fine I think. I do not have it yet and it is without spots so maybe the printed part in the CMF is more useful anyway
  4. Are you kidding, look at al the great sets we got last year To compare Lego with Disney is way off target in my mind, however I do agree with what you say about Disney
  5. Most likely done automatically and that is the problem if they just keep on ordering 200 every week, if someone with a brain sees it they probably order 20 000 instead I am not saying the little kid should not get her replacement horse if it is missing and of course that has a higher priority with Lego than I wanting to buy a herd, that is why they probably stop selling them before they run out completely.. My point is that Lego already have made huge numbers of horses that is at a warehouse somewhere, but that the B&P orders asking for them is too small. It is not like they start up the machines in the factory to make 200 horses for B&P or that a employee can go back on the store room and pick up a box of them, his is a huge company with factories and warehouses "all over the world". I was just trying to exsplain why they sell out after 30 min every time
  6. I think it was dumbed down because of LOTR was on shelf and that backfired on Castle fans. LOTR did not sell enough to kids and 2013 Castle probably not enough to older kids and adult so Lego most likely concluded that normal Castle sets do not sell any more period. If they had skipped 2013 Castle and continued where 2011-12 stopped after LOTR had died instead I think things could be different today We got the Blacksmith this year, the 90th anniversary vote had a massive support for castle themes and if we keep the pressure up they soon will bring back the goat so there is light in the tunnel for Castle fans I would say
  7. I agree, the smaller animals like the spider, ant and the mouse are huge, so could be that the retriever is more to the natural size than the smaller ones which in turn makes it look small
  8. Missed the horse again also To me it only makes sense that they get very few in at the time. My guess is that they some time ago made the horse in one factory for a few hours or a couple of days until they had enough for the Blacksmith set and in stock at the warehouse. Then the horse arrives at B&P with a limited number say a bag of 200,500 or 1000. After all it is a big part that in theory should not be missing from the set very often. It is instantly sold out or they probably stop the sale so they have a minimum number left for missing or broken parts. Then the horse gets on the list with the other parts that are sold out or getting low in stock, then maybe once a week the order is sent to the warehouse. The parts are packed and shipped for B&P HQ and after some time the horse arrives and the same things happens again. Until someone realises that they must order 10x or 100x times the number of horses to stop the flow of orders
  9. Good luck getting that polybag for 3-4 £ on bricklink Hopefully If it should stay true to my hypothesis that the animals are saved from other animals it "must" include 2 animals. Anyway I think the size of the mould is more important now then which other sets the mould is in
  10. Maybe not, but if the minifig amount is on par then I assume something else is missing. Since the designers have a budget to follow and if they add a minifig something else has to go, at least that is how it normally is
  11. If the anniversary style sets are ending this year then it must be some kind of closure that the sets combine and form some sort of finished build of the castle I think. Other than just giving us gold figs of the most famous characters, if it is not then the chance that the style continues next year is bigger in my mind Yes, but with Lego that is probably not the case
  12. I am sure that the leaks has nothing to do with it However it is right that he is not a good fit for the program and never was.. Yes, better not to take any chances it is not worth it Thanks to the above mentioned YouTuber it looks like TLG is cracking even harder down on leaks from now on and it would not make any sense if that do not also apply to non LAN member Me too I do not like pearl gold and putting figs in every set with that colour really is a waste of figs to me, maybe the kids will like it
  13. No sure if it has been mention before, but 30570 is a Wildlife Rescue polybag according to Brickset! I know several of us was expecting a polybag within the theme, but it is nice to get it confirmed. Maybe a monkey is included or a lion cub would be even better
  14. Sweet, do not think I have seen that before, to bad they did not make one tour for every shop in DA and Hogsmeade (only a few). Should not be a problem for the designers to fill that with interior details at least
  15. Not likely and maybe I would say Regarding the new Hogwarts style is more stackable it could be a good thing, since DA or a modular building street is easier to display. I managed to squeeze in all the current sets on my shelf, but it was not easy put them together within a limited space when the parts going in every direction. It would look better with more air between the parts, but with limited space it is not possible
  16. Yes I am aware, radical feminism they call it However let's stop this before it starts or we all will be in a lot of trouble I am sure the figs will if nothing else do, however I believe some of us rather would have a "bad" set with no figs or only bad/reused ones so they do not end up hawing to buy "bad" sets just for the figs I will wait for proper pictures before I make up my mind, the prelims are always bad anyway and I am sure the designers know what they are dooing
  17. They have made all the HP/WW sets in small waves so far and it is probably just a business decision for whatever reason. At least I do not think that proves that the two summer waves are similar or not Millions of kids read or listens to HP books every year, so the well will not dry up anytime soon. There is the books, the films, the play, the FB films and new games so there is not nothing new. I do not think SW do any better with all the new films they are popping out that fewer and fewer people care about. If it had not been for the Mandalorian they would probably be in trouble already and I think the sales are going down for Lego SW as well. Yes those feminist are not to be trusted Sorry for the OT I agree, time will tell, but I think the June sets will sell a lot. The question is what they will do in 2022, I still think they can go back to pre 2021 style or just continue with this years style Personally I think there is to much focus on Hogwarts anyway and I would be much more interested to see future expansion sets for DA and Hogsmeade or other sets from the WW outside the castle
  18. That is a great idea and would be a fantastic parts pack to other non HP Lego fans also That is not the reason why we do not get DH sets now and is it really that much darker than any other movies/books The same reason they do not make carriages period any more, they do not sell as well as a similar sized set of fire-truck etc having that spot on the shelf today Anyway in this case since it is already in a set you can just buy the parts and make more yourself
  19. Definitely, it was one of the top10 bestselling Lego sets in 2018, and I guess it has not sold bad after either since it still is for sale and often not in stock. Would most of us want a new D2C not in minifigscale?! No and that's why I think we will get one in August
  20. You never know, but I would be surprised if they use the old mould at least
  21. No sure I said guess, but if you missed the first bathroom then maybe
  22. I guess there is a troll set in August, to make the bathroom bigger
  23. Ah right, that is what is close to the croc The part looked grey so I assumed they where a new part or something, I just saw the egg in the window. However rather big to be crocodile eggs, but I do not expect any ostrich in the sets that mould is gone like the goat I think
