  1. Would not surprise me and it is very cute, in addition I would like to see they use the adult mould again in a set. The cats has got some love in City this year so maybe we will finally see her, but I think we will get Fang first if the dogs vs cats ratio is anything to go by
  2. Yes that could happen if it is some kind of anniversary series. However it is a little bit of a wasted opportunity for Lego to boost sale for the first set with a goat, but maybe they do not think that way

  4. As long as animals can be used as live ones later I had actually thought that could be a nice way to get some animals in the modular street, use several of them in the sign or the wall to advertise the shop However a D2C farm set would be my choice as a tie-in
  5. Personally I did not think the farm sets would include the goat, however I would not be surprised if we get one this year in the 90th anniversary set if that is Castle Anyway within the next 5 years we will get it for sure (probably sooner than later) , and the way things are going we probably get a kid mould as well
  6. My guess is that is 1 of 3 of the following : something that is related to farm, so probably something in the forest something related to the wildlife sets last year (if they sold well enough they would release it the following year type of deal) something unrelated to current subthemes, maybe a vehicle set and or a preview set for a subtheme we get next year
  7. Maybe we misunderstand each other The pictures Stonewars describe is from the Lego retailer catalogue and the pictures there are normally preliminary, so things like minifigs, new moulds etc have stand ins in the picture and the set often lack some details. Just so the buyers get a feeling what the set will look like, however it will normally end up better in the end with more details, new figs and new moulds or parts in new colours like animals
  8. I see no reason why it should have the same spots and remember this is prelim pictures, so they could have used the old cow as stand in e.g. er could get one brown and white instead That would be nice, we will soon see I guess I had little hope of animals with the car and a rabbit is better that nothing, but it would be nice if it was in another colour for once (remember prelim so could be a different colour or even a stand in for the hare if we are super lucky). I was expecting a new mould with the hen house (since we get so many in the other set probably not any more), however will be surprised if not one or more white hens are stand in for one in a different colour. Animal-wise the barn is a lot better than I was expecting. Was hoping for the return of the cow and guessing a new calf mould, then maybe a sheep and pig. However was not expecting 3 new moulds in the set , hope the lamb and piglet comes in a polybag or similar because I am buying a lot of them
  9. I wait for a couple of orders now, but I rather wait a long time this time in the year instead that the hole B&P shop is closed for several months now like it used to
  10. Well it looks like we soon can buy BAM online on shop@home and the black/tan dachshund was used in the example
  11. When the set are released or shortly before if we get a leak, however this will be a set there is easy for them to keep quiet about. My guess is 10th of August
  12. 60301: Wildlife Rescue Off-Roader has only 157 parts and cost 50$ 10775: Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck's Farm has only 118 and cost 30$ Probably 4+, so the set could be quite big and cost 60-70$ even if is has few parts and lets face it we will all buy the set because of the animals not the barn. Of course I hope the wave have at least one big farm set 6/7+ set also (a dream come true would be a 18+ D2C one) that we can use as it is and not only as a animal battle pack
  13. Of course most of the figs would be the usual suspects, but 1-2 per set could be a random shopper after all they have the same amount of screen-time as e.g. Florian Fortescue Yes SW have been on repeat for years, HP try hard to make new things every time, when they make something similar like the car it makes sense to include it in the second set as well.
  14. The "civilians" ones from the movies
  15. That would be my choice over another part of Hogwarts yes, however since they have not done it yet I do not think it will happen (maybe with the exception of LC)
  16. Had not thought about that, it is definitely one way to do it That is probably only budget restrictions as usual. If it had been a duck mould available they would have used it, since it is not they had not the budget to make one or even if they had they choose to use that budget on other parts

  18. Maybe unexpected is a better word then, you expect a new DA so prepare to be surprised by something unexpected
  19. I disagree, Not one of us expected a microscale Hogwarts, and the DA did not include several of the most known buildings like the bank so not what we expected there either
  20. They always do something experimental for the D2C so in my mind that is the strongest argument against a second DA set You forgot Ministry of Magic, that is my number 1 guess if it is minifigscale, if not it can be anything
  21. Designer wants a lot of stuff, but they must keep inside the budget of what ever they are making at the time. If they have a low budget, they can only use what is available at the time. Think about the BL designer sets and the budget they have. The Castle in the Forest designer had to build a saddle because it was not in production at the time, had it instead been made this year he could have used the one from the new horse transport set. When they reintroduce the goat other designers can use it and since we do now what future sets we get it could be included in a lot of sets. That said I do not think the farm sets will bring it back at least if it is only those 3 rather small sets in the subtheme
  22. No, soon depends on where you live: "When is it happening and in which markets? The first change happens for the US and Canada when we implement a new fulfilment area in our US-based warehouse in January and start fulfilling Pick a Brick orders there. In order for this change to occur, Pick a Brick will be unavailable for approximately 48 hours, starting late evening January 23rd to January 25th when Pick a Brick comes back online. This outage is planned and is necessary. During this downtime, individual elements will still be available for purchase through Bricks and Pieces. After that we’ll roll out the new merged experience as a soft launch. This will allow us to understand what’s working and identify improvement opportunities early. We’re planning to roll out the new merged experience to the Netherlands, France, Germany and the UK early February. This will be followed by Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the US in late February. We’ll then look to rollout to all other countries globally. During the soft launch, we’ll use several metrics and insights available to us to understand if the new experience is working as it should. We’ll take any learnings from this soft launch and use them to help us deliver the best experience possible for our customers. New features and functionalities We’re also creating a new location called the ‘Pick and Build hub’ for Pick a Brick and similar future experiences. With the new ‘Pick and Build hub’, we’ll test and launch new experiences that enable creativity and fun. As a first trial we’ll introduce Build a Mini to our shoppers in Europe and Asia. With this tool you can combine different minifigure parts and create your own minifigure. The Build a Mini selection of bricks will only be available for this experience. They won’t be available as part of the Pick a Brick assortment."
