  1. That is the problem with all the Lego movies they release, they all get a huge wave of sets, then a second wave of even more sets and of course they get a series of CMF In the process pushing the regular series one spot in the release schedule
  2. To bad the jungle exclusive was not on display, but the jungle theme looks great and the big cats superb The FATB is nice and it got 5 animals As far as I can see the dolphin is a new mould as well Keep up the good work Lego
  3. For me the French bulldog and the rabbit is a nice surprise, I will get as many as I can of those and 1 each of around 8 other figs For every dog breed we get, we are getting closer to my favourite; the dachshund Maybe one is accompanying a German in series 18
  4. Yes, the last few CMF normal series has proven to be the safest way to get new animal moulds! It is a excellent trend that I hope they will continue The new moulds look great and maybe the rabbit is usable as a hare in winter coat as well Then I expect it to pop up in future sets, maybe winter village or in brown/gray in other sets...
  5. The set looks good, since it resembles the ship in the movie! Personally I have no interest in a ghost ship so it is a pas.. I am waiting for the return of the traditional Lego pirates To me they look more realistic, the movie pirate ships are always ghosts, zombies etc and I never buy them The missing shark is strange 1 could be they did not have access to the shark at the time, the lack of the box and a very limited number of photos support this. 2 it could be in another POTC set, seems unlikely.. 3 could be from a totally different series of Lego, seems unlikely since it is in the trailer. 4 could be like the buffalo from the western sets, they made the mould, but for some reason did not release it
  6. Well how many ninjas are there The only reason batman got 20 is because they made 5 batman figs, remove 4 and we are back to 16 That is the only series I can remember that has more than one variety of a figure and I hope and guess they wouldn't make that a trend
  7. If it is a ghost ship it seems likely that it is aimed at kids, there are plenty of spoiled kids who are likely to get a $ 200 set in the world.. If it looks like a realistic ship it is more likely aimed at adults. Maybe Lego do not have room on the shelfs now for a complete wave, remember even "fantastic beasts" only got dimensions sets and I believe HP sets have been traditional bestsellers?!
  8. Yes, I am surprised if it do not include a big cat and a crocodile! From what I can see, the black panther is no where to be seen on the pictures, so the sets do not look complete.. I guess better pictures will show up soon
  9. Where are the seagulls
  10. Yes, a little bit odd that they did not include the newly updated parrot and /or monkey mould in the sets.. But Lego has never exaggerated the number of animal moulds in a set (the closest they got where maybe in 6055), so I guess they figured they have been generous enough already If you want to keep the hope up and grasping at straws; there is always the probably biggest jungle set still waiting to be revealed
  11. Yes, as we could expect from a animal mould of this size If you compare the pictures of the two colour variations they have different angels on both the hind legs and the head A little fun fact is that they changed the colour of the two cats in the sets from the preliminary photos, the black was in the biggest set and vice versa Since there is a set number missing 60162 it probably means we will get an "exclusive" set as well, I guess/hope it will be a big one like in Arctic that include a jaguar (probably the spotted one)
  12. You should have listened to the biologist, I said it was jaguars But they have the mould now so I think a tiger is the next big cat out, maybe in a ninjogo set within a couple of years I think the jungle sets look good, could have been more foliage and less vehicles to make them even better, but they are of course aimed at kids.. The most important thing for me is the animal moulds as always From what I can see the jaguars look great both the normal one and the melanistic colour variant, they can also be used as leopards without any problem Also happy several of the sets include the crocodile mould! Nice that we get a new spider and the inclusion of snakes and frogs. Rather surprising that they did not include the new parrot mould in the sets... The Fatb set seems promising, glad Lego included the dalmatian instead of the German shepherds in the set. Odd the lobster is red, but glad it is in a normal set so soon.. The dolphin I am wondering about, it looks like the friends mould with different eyes on the box, but the one outside have no eyes printed on it. Apparently it is not finished yet, so I hope they make a new mould, but not so sure any more
  13. It is not both are true or not true! The qvote you posted could be a fake, but that dosent mean that we do not get a Potc d2c set From what I understand the blurry photo came from Lego and are legit, I also think the ghost shark is legit.. I looks to me that somone new about all the rumors, just added some stuff to them that they find likely and made the post you qvoted
  14. Mmm sceptic First of all tigers do not live on the same continent as gorillas and chimpanzees! Second from what I could see on the pictures several have the crocodile mould including the starter set, strange not to mention that when mentioning all other animals.. Explorers that steel gold from natives do not sound like something Lego would make today Also have not the sports theme turned out to be a friends subtheme? Lastly do the toy fairs normally show D2C sets like the pirates of the Caribbean set most likely are?
  15. Hi and welcome It could be the friends dolphin mould yes.. But it is only a preliminary picture, they often put in similar pieces in those pictures e.g. minifigs are usually different from the final set. The pieces are most likely not finished when they take the pictures.. It has never happen that they have used a minidoll animal in a minifig set and I guess they will not start now They have always made a new more realistic mould when they make a minifig animal even if the animal already existed in the minidoll world So the lobster in the set will most likely change colour, the dog will change colour and maybe breed, the dolphin "will be a minifig one" and the parrot might change colour and even species
  16. I am not sure could be, but hard to tell
  17. A dolphin, a red lobster, a white dog and a red/green parrot in one set And that is before we have entered the jungle The animals will probably change in colour etc but they are definitely in the set Pigeons in a future set in the series do seem a loot more likely now
  18. I agree! The only thing I want from the Batman wave is the lobster From a normal wave I get 8-12 different figs and many of the ones with a new animal mould
  19. Several of the jungle sets also include the crocodile mould Will be interesting to see which member of the order Crocodilia they will be, my guess is caiman
  20. If we end up with jaguars that would be great, the black version is most likely no problem to use as a black leopard and the normal one probably will work fine as a leopard as well If we end up with a tiger that is also fine, the main point is that we get a big cat mould finally I guess it is a better chance we get tigers and lions in other sets in the future then a jaguar/leopard version of the mould.. Will be interesting to see if there is a small hole or something similar around the head to attach a male lion`s mane I very good guess then Yes hopefully we will get several species in the years to come There are rumours that we will get a dolphin and the lobster in a "alive colour" as well this summer, so seems like a excellent year for animal moulds
  21. Maybe, just a stand in, they are preliminaries after all If not that is the first minidoll animal mould that have made the cross over to the minifig world. Seems rather unlikely
  22. Thanks for the info Kevii23 Fun at the beach sounds even better than fun in the park! I was hoping for a lobster, but dolphin as well X-mas is coming early this year from Lego I bet it is a updated mould Did you see the dolphin in the coast guard sets?! What about seagulls and sharks? I agree that the new big cat looked like a jaguar/black panther
  23. I agree, the polar bear in Arctic and all the underwater creatures in deep sea live in the environment, but it is not why the minifigs are there. On the other hand the animals bring a lot of possibility's to the set like play features, scenarios, danger and are a real eye-catcher
  24. A big cat mould it is, but there are some uncertainty to which species in the Pantherinae subfamily Definitely no gorilla More or less spot on from what I could make out of the pictures, have you had a peek also But I think is is more likely that it is a jaguar and a black panther from the Amazonian rainforest
