Off the wall

News of the Marina Bay Sands 21021 is all over the Internet if you google it. Looks like a winner. Definitely for those of us who like the non traditional look.

My Amazon packages have those plastic airbags inside of them. The UN set, like all of the others including the large Tower Bridge box, got here in perfect condition. I live two miles from a Lego store, and I still order a lot through Amazon. More convenient than going to the mall and faster than Lego.com. No points, but no shipping charges on small orders via Amazon. I did breakdown and buy the Sydney Opera house at the mall Lego Store. Walking through the mall always reminds me of why I shop on the Internet.

Ordered the new UN architecture series offering. Ordered from Amazon. I'm Amazon prime. Order yesterday, received today in less that 24 hours. I'm Amazon prime, I selected free two day shipping. Since I live in a large metro area and they have an 'end of runway' operation in Memphis, I got overnight service for free. Interesting, but when I first looked on the Lego site early yesterday, they showed the UN as out of stock. Changed a few hours later to available, but by then I'd ordered though Amazon. Since my order through lego would have been under $75, I would have paid for shipping plus it would have taken a day or two longer in transit.

So many other buildings in NYC that would have been better. Starting with the Chrysler Building. I own all of the architecture series. Impressed by the review but not by the product.
