  1. Wow, those look great! They're still instantly recognisable in this scale. It would also be a nice display piece along with the sets themselves.
  2. Well, we can still spawn items using commands, and mods can enable both that and flying. It might be a bit less convenient, but it isn't a huge hinderance for most. I may be wrong, but Pinioncorp has disabled the command to enable creative mode, or perhaps there's been a system update applied. Whichever is the case, I don't think anyone can set themselves on creative unless if they have already done so previously.
  3. Wow, that looks very realistic. An interesting change from the normal, "cleaner" look of buildings. Great work.
  4. Wait, so DC and Marvel are being launched in separate waves? Has that been confirmed? I suppose that's good news in a way, because that will mean more room for sets, rather than mixing them.
  5. The server seems to be down, though it may just be me. Also, a suggestion... only moderators or trusted users should be able to use creative mode, because there are huge possibilities for griefing. Edit: Server seems to be back up.
  6. That only lists the players that are currently online, though. Yay, 1000th post.
  7. What I think would make everyone happy is if two sets of two battlepacks were released every year. So you can buy your two Clones/Droids/Imperials/Rebels in the first half, and then you can do the same in the second to create four full battlepacks. I'm fine with the Endor battlepacks with Stormtroopers and Rebels, but I would not give up two Clones for Commando droids.
  8. As I thought, the figures weren't really exclusive, just released early. I wonder what those people who spent money on those thought after hearing this.
  9. Hang on, if that's minifigure hair, those figures must be smaller than I thought... The main thing concerning me about the hair is the shape of the figures' heads, as they're fairly round. I have a feeling that might translate to something like Hagrid's hairpiece when used on a minifigure. I have a feeling this will be successful, given the large amount of sets. This is probably one of the better attempts at creating a girls' line. That said, though whether this is good news or bad, the pieces may be printed because there's probably an assumption that stickers are too "complicated".
  10. Do you think it may be possible to have a command or something that lists every whitelisted player on the server? It will definitely be a useful feature. I'm also a little worried that the "TNT party" might encourage griefing in future.
  11. I don't think anyone can really prove that. Still, the yellow fits, I think. It's just too bad that the secondary colours are mostly on stickers.
  12. In a way, perhaps that was intended. Dino Attack did look more "serious", but the colour scheme may have also looked aggressive. Now that we have tranquiliser guns, they're clearly trying to appear more research-based and methodical, so the yellow does fit in a technical sense. Aesthetically though, you're right. It does look a bit silly, especially considering they are trying to capture dinosaurs in brightly-coloured vehicles.
  13. *Applause* I suspect there will be at least one more wave, because it seems that Zane is the only ninja without his own vehicle. I still really like the snake vehicles. They're much more angular than I expected, and the colour scheme is nice.
  14. Well, the server's back online (I suspect I'm the first to be on), but it's incredibly laggy and all permissions and stuff seem to have been reset. Now that Creative mode is out, I have given up mods entirely. Still, you can't really do anything now without mods. I had to break out of Volcanicpanik's jail with a convenient lever. Also, Creepers no longer disappear, be careful near your buildings. My house has already been attacked. Edit: Also, regions are gone. Edit again: Volcanicpanik's Creeper house and the house next to it has also been heavily damaged. Either there's a well-prepared griefer around, or there's been one hell of a Creeper attack. I recommend immediately disabling mobs. I have a feeling I'm going to be held accountable for the damage, so the quicker everything's reset, the better.
  15. Looks like he has eye printing as well. The minifigs alone in the Droid Escape already justify purchasing the set. Looking at those Sandtroopers, I'll probably buy two. I finally see now that Barriss is indeed different, and Gree looks great. The ARF Trooper is different then the one we've got in the previous battle pack, and while it's plainer, the ARC Trooper is definitely the highlight of the set. Looks like a multiple-heavy year ahead.
  16. Aside from the colour scheme, which is ridiculously loud (though it is expected), it actually looks okay. I see quite a few new colours and parts in there. I think I'll get a couple of those small sets. I have nothing to lose except my dignity.
  17. I've never seen that before either. Looks customised to me. I think the separate jetpack mould was a necessity though. I've never really worried too much about whether Astromechs could rotate their heads. It's a minor annoyance if you want to, for example, set up a scene, but then again, what about the fact that minifigures can't move their arms and legs sideways? Edit: I found an image of the planet sets' packaging! Here! Edit again: More images! R2-D2 does not have a third leg. As for the minifigures... you can see there yourself.
  18. It might just be me, but as it's quite visibly not one single piece, the snakemen's headpieces look like strange-shaped hats. The fact that the snakemen look like they're wearing clothes of the same colour as their skin also kind of ruins it for me. Still, it's not too bad. If you remove the headpieces, they look fine. I wonder what the chances of the booster packs not being Chinese are? I'm fine with Collectible Minifigures, because there's no alternative. However, I'd avoid these altogether if they were Chinese, simply because the differences are too obvious. It seems that the "Shredder helmet" is actually just a ninja headwrap minus the back part with a crest on it. Also, looks like there's a red dragon-like snakeman in the green vehicle similar to what Vertea posted some time ago.
  19. The gold dagger was in the Ninjago board game. The axe is probably the same mould, given some of the other weapons also look extended. I see a few more new or newish weapons in there. Looks like Kendo Cole gets a baseball bat. Anyway, I'm not too keen on most of the snakemen. They look like... pirates. I was thinking of something more elegant, like the warriors in the Atlantis theme. That said, the blue cobras in the ship and in Cole's vehicle are very nice. Why couldn't they all look like that, instead of strange humanised faces?
  20. Wait, I can't even see a difference between the two Barris versions. Considering I'm going to get another Barris anyway, I might as well buy two or three Geonosian Cannons. I might as well also buy another Geonosian Starfighter. Comments relatively unchanged on everything else. R2-D2 definitely looks different. Small planet sets are nice. The Hoth Board game is cute, but doesn't have a lot of new or useful parts.
  21. Hmm, not bad! The classic-styled look which we've been seeing recently in Alien Conquest is also here, and it fits well. Looks like this is a reference to Jurassic Park, with the colour scheme and the logos visible on the vehicles. I think I'll only be getting the three sets on the right, however. The larger dinosaurs are a little ridiculous.
  22. Wow, images! My thoughts: Helicopter: A snake's head, as I predicted. Very nice, actually, and the colour's nice. Cycle and shrine: Not much, but nice small sets. Potential army builders. Jet: Could probably be in another theme. Pretty good. Four-wheeled vehicle thing: Wow! That looks very Batman-like. I did not expect that. Snake jeep: Again, the colour combined with the sleek look makes it pretty. Ship: Maybe it's just me, but this seems kind of... disappointing. It's a sudden change from all the nice colourful vehicles. It is great, but I don't know... My standards have probably been lowered due to the colours. It's really nice to see multicoloured vehicles rather than the repetitive black/white/purple theme of the previous waves. I am, however, a little annoyed that I can't finish my current army. I wonder if the spinners or the boosters will be Chinese plastic. My perfectionist instincts still prefers the more expensive method of buying sets.
  23. Yep, that's the reason. A few days ago, during the pre-release, the server didn't work either because it was outdated. That said, I'm now discouraged from 1.8. I think I'll skip the entire update and wait for the next one. The crashes in the pre-release were horrible, and I wasn't even on a Mac. Edit: Wait, it's not 1.8. I don't think I can downgrade either.
  24. Oh, wow! All of those designs look great. The whole geometric feature is really cool. The only thing that could beat these would be actual buildings.
  25. Wow, I give up checking for a few weeks and suddenly images! Droid Escape: Quite nice, considering the Stormtroopers. Maybe it's just me, but R2-D2 looks a little different (printing maybe?). Geonosian Cannon: We were right, but I thought it was going to be a lot larger. I'd rather have a few more Clones instead of the Jedi, particularly if it's non-Clone Wars Bariss. Still, I may get two of this for the Geonosians. Battlepacks: Yay! The Endor battlepack is great as I don't have any Endor Rebels, and the Clone Wars battlepack should be good, providing the ARF isn't the same as the one we got this year. Interceptor: Could do with some work. It looks like Nute Gunray has a skirt now. X-Wing: Really not sure about this. A bit more streamlined and plainer, but not different enough to warrant getting it. The figures may change my mind, but I doubt it in this case.
