Nice review! But, Clone O'Patra, why are you saying it's great that Luke has a yellow hand? As far as I know, Luke got his mechanical hand in the end of Episode V and the scene with the desert skiff takes place in Episode VI?

funkybrick replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Oh I've waited so long for this particular set to be reviewed! And the day has finally come... Brilliant review, Clone O'Patra! You really showed us what's going on in the set! Maybe I'll get it myself... funkybrick -
Fight Back You Bantha Frakkin' Cowards!
funkybrick replied to Commander Tac's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very nice vignette and very nice story! Good job! -
In my opinion this is totally the ultimate Slave I set! I'll get it as soon as possible! But it's difficult... you know, there are so many other cool sets, life's tough for a Lego fan! Thanks CopMike for your early and great review!

This is a cool mech! However, I doesn't look Star-Wars-ish to me (nothing against your creation!)... Anyway, good job!

That one looks pretty nice! Thanks for sharing.

8095 General Greivous' Starfighter (Picture and Video) Review
funkybrick replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I find his new vehicle to be the greater fail! -
It's a modification of the falcon. The official version doesn't have any interior at all. funkybrick

Hi, I'm planning to buy the new Slave I (8097) soon. My question is: what will be the MSRP in euro for it? Will it be the same as on Amazon FR (89,90 I think) or lower? Thanks, funkybrick PS: check out this picture! Very nice, isn't it?

Thanks for the nice review! I like the set, but the price is horrible! I mean, look at the small size of this set, this should be for 30€ or so... 47€? No way!

I voted for camel :) funkybrick

Which Jedi, Sith or other do you want the most?
funkybrick replied to darkrebellion's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yeeah, plus Darth Zannah! That would be the pure awesomeness! By the way, I've just finished the third Darth Bane novel (Dynasty of Evil) and I can highly recommend reading it! funkybrick -
I can't help it, the old one looks sleeker to me... funkybrick

Which Jedi, Sith or other do you want the most?

Ki-Adi Mundi, Darth Bane and Darth Nihilus would be absolutely great! Generally, some figs from the expanded universe would be awesome. funkybrick -
Review: 6155 Deep Sea Predator
funkybrick replied to ZO6's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
ZO6, all your reviews are excellent! It's always a pleasure reading one, so is this! By the way, am I right in assuming that you buy most of your sets new? Or do you just treat them very well and keep 'em in like-new condition? :) funkybrick -

Help needed with 6979 Interstellar Starfighter
funkybrick replied to funkybrick's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks for your reply! Hmm, I can't check because I haven't got any other such wires. Anyway, I doubt that it's the wire and not the motor... No sound? That noises are all produced by the humming of the motor? Oh, and another question: How durable are the fiber-optic wires? Do they lose some luminosity over time? Do you have to treat them especially careful? funkybrick -
Which Official Pirate LEGO Sets Do You Have?
funkybrick replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I have: 6247 Bounty Boat 6252 Sea Mates 6263 Imperial Outpost 6266 Cannon Cove 6271 Imperial Flagship (still MISB) 6277 Imperial Trading Post 10040 Black Seas Barracuda Oh, and from the new Pirates line: both impulse sets and 6239 Cannon Battle. Cheers, funkybrick EDIT: Technically, I'd also possess some blue coat sets (such as 6276 Eldorado Fortress) but they are not really in great condition and mostly not 100% complete. -
Hi there, I have recently purchased a brand new 6979 Interstellar Starfighter (UFO series) set. I have got a problem with it, though: the electronics don't (completely) work. The thing that works fine is the flashing lights inside the cockpit BUT the fiber-optic cables don't light up and there's no sound! I am pretty sure that the micro-motor is completely dead (doesn't spin) and that I have to get a new one, you don't need to tell me that. My question is: what else do I have to re-buy in working condition to make all electronic features work? Or is it just the motor? Where would the sound come from? Thanks. funkybrick

REVIEW: 5900/1094 Adventurer - Johnny Thunder
funkybrick replied to K@czor's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I kind of like this small set. Excellent review! Considering that the set you're reviewing is of such a small size AND that this is your first post, your review is even better! Great job! funkybrick -
Great job, Svelte! Looks really nice! Keep up the great work! funkybrick
