I'm sorry if I sound a bit nitpicking here, but if we follow your reasoning for the snowtrooper and hoth rebel soldier, then we already have one specialised BP. I mean, the rebel soldiers only appear for five minutes in the entire saga, right at the beginiing of episode 4 and that's it. We never see them again (except maybe at the end, during the parade)... I think we see less of them than of the hoth troopers... But we've been crying for them for years, and they finally gave in. So if we shout long enough, who knows ;-) But I'd still love a 501st BP... Actually, I'd like one where they put different specialised trooper, that'd be nice

In Anime movies, my absolute best is My Neighbour Totora by Miyazaki. And Spirited Away is a close second. then of course, there's Akira, by Katsuhiro Otomo. in the anime series, I Full Metal Alchemist, that show treated some really great themes and had far more depth than I initially expected As for manga, the original Battle Angel Alita serie is still one of my all time favorite. But I can't stand his new last order serie... It scraps most of the greatness of the original 9 volumes and keeps on going forever while actually not leading anywhere... Feels like the editor found a nice cow to milk and won't let go untill there's only the bones left ... And I love Dragonball, too. But not the Anime, the anime's too slow, they just keep watching each other while waiting to draw a punch for two third of an episode and then they start over in the next one and so on... gets pretty boring rather quickly...

Shh, don't tell X-D (yes, it's from 353, the only set my dad ever owned and gave to me. I think it was in the late '60s or early '70s. I still have it complete with instruction and box :-P andI just love that tree) Actually, I discovered a few interesting facts while doing those figs : when I tried to pull the walrus' head off, the head came but not the ball joint. So I realised it was in two parts and the hole in the head is the size of a stud (to pull it off easily, I put it in the side hole of a technic brick). So you can put the head on a system fig torso. Consequently, the top of the ball joint can accomodate a minifig head (or anything that fits on a stud) : But this just looks proportionally wierd :-/ Come to think of it, I wonder if the ball joint fits in one of the Bionicle sockets... EDIT : I just tried to fit it in a bionicle socket, but it's to small...

4483. I totally dislike the new motorized version. The legs are completely off and it looks like Bambi trying to walk for the first time... I'd love a UCS Venator too, but The ISD would still be my favourite. I'm much much more into the OT than the PT, and nothing can compare to the iconicity (new word?) of the original ISD...

Hi, I noticed that Copmike managed to put a cape on his sigfig and I was wondering how he did it. So this morning I checked my fabuland head and realised it had the same neck joint as the technic figs. And I had to try this : I present to you the new Beefed up Eurobricks Enforcer action figure (in case things get rough) Here comes Copmike in his riot gear And Sinner, all ready for the action The team in all its glory : Damn, we've got a spy! well here goes... Thought I'd share it...

Mine would be the UCS ISD... I fell in love with it the very first time I put my eyes on it... And then I had to wait and save for five (looooooong) years to afford it... Otherwise, in the minifig sets, it's the AT AT, many others look great too, but that one is waaay over the top (though the new MTT has become a really close second).

Mmmmh... That would be Ultimate Spider-man, to me... though I kinda like Ultimate Iron man too... (ouuuuh, first post with the new board... feels like riding in a limo :-D smooth ride but keep looking for things in the many compartments)

I saw "The Mist", recently. I was really surprised to find it so good. I expected it to be entertaining but nothing more, so I put it on to have some background noise while working for school but I ended up so cought in it that I didn't do much work... X-D

But will they be sold in shops? If I remember well, the last two mini sets were promotions as well and thus sold in polybag (I'm talking about the Ep3 Jedi Starfighter and ARC 170). And the only thing I've seen from them are the building instructions, so... To be honest, I always assumed they'd be some sort of promotion, I just didn't know for what occasion or when...

The Dewbak, definitely. Even without Greedo it would still make all the worth of the Cantina set. But I have to say I don't think there were that many creatures to choose from that TLC made... I can only remember three : the Dewbak, the two-legged thing ridden by the Gungan and Obi Wan's Lizard from ep3... Has there been more I don't know about? As for the alien fig, I'd say the Geonosian... I just love those little BUGgers :-D

Mmmh, nice find.. I hope we'll get some kind of big tree hut, that'd be great. Or lots of modular small ones, that'd be enven better. Childhood dream ON ps: that's weird... why is the Elf holding his bow by its string? that shouldn't be very efficient...

Just finished the "Da Vinci Code"... It was rather entertaining, actually. But I wouldn't say it was worth half the fuss they made about it when it came out... Now I'm starting "Jacques the Fatalist", by Diderot

Nice review. Just one thing worth pointing out, I think : the four Stormies have PRINTED LEGS *wub* . I think it's the only set where you can get those... overall, it was a nice set, and one of the very few ways to get Imperial Guards

Best one : V for Vendetta, for just about everything that's in the film and more... (It's even the only film I know I find better than its original material...) Worst one : Charlie's Angel 2... After watching it, I was really wondering what the hell have I been waiting those 2 hours of my life for... :-X though Ultraviolet is a close second
