Hey compatriote! I think I'll spend some time watching almost every video on your youtube channel ^^ Hope we'll see some of your MOCs soon!

Thank you prateek! KielDaManI , think the best thing I could do to improve it would be to use white or gray parts instead of those dark green bionicle ones... I was also thinking about using some of the cool parts of the "construct a Buzz" (such as the "hybrid" brick/ball joint parts) but I can't decide to take it apart

Well hello everyone, Afters months and months of significant and non-significant changes to it to find a good shape or the good part color, I'm happy to present you my first mech! The brave pilot with his machine, here in stand-by mode, cockpit opened, sitting down to allow easy access, in a not really impressive position. But suddenly it's time to join the battlefield! Sorry for the blurriness of some pics, I haven't domesticated this camera yet.... Anyways, you can see that this mech isn't a peaceful one: short-range machine-gun on the right arm (the gun is removable so it can be dropped when out of ammo or to grab other things with the three functional fingers), 2 missiles (which make like a big BOOM on their target, I'm not a weapon specialist) and a long-range hyper powerful laser canon on the left arm. Let's have a closer look on the left arm Smaller arms can be deployed, they are human size and can be used to pick smaller object. For example they allow the pilot to use minifig's guns (why would he do that knowing that he has a powerful laser canon? I dunno, ask him if you want). This wonder of technology is also able to fly when needed, but just for while, to access to the roof of a building for example. (yes those are flick-fire missiles, I love them ) If you hadn't noticed yet, this MOC is actually a (big) mod of 8100 Cyclone Defender, although there are hardly any remains of the skeleton of this cool exoforce set (legs and arms, but the body had a few changes made). My first will was to make a close cockpit, and to use that big stickered part in an unusual way. What you see may be the 20th version of the cockpit, the previous one kept falling apart or didn't even close. I like how it turned out, with the use of this part, two being in snot and two normal, fitting perfectly together . I haven't decided if the big pointy things on the shoulders should be used as stabilizers for the flight or radar thingies... well, you tell me. It participates (with the bulkiness of the cockpit and armor) in the "F117 stealth plane" look I think. Bonus: a few days ago I bought the 8085 freeco speeder with this battle pack and made a cool little ship mixing them together: Some more pictures can be found here. Id like to create more vehicles and minifigs in this "theme", in the same colors, maybe some bad guys etc... If you made it down here, thank you! And don't forget to comment, advise, criticize and ask some questions BEWARE of the Robot-Dog and his friends!

Wow man your Archie is very well done! Proportions are perfect, the shape makes unmistakably the Archie of the comic and movie. You added just the touch of necessary details. I'd love to see other Watchmen MOCs, but actually I can't see what else can be done in lego Nice job, I'm a conformist!!

Well TheWarden, I would love to see a good review of the lab! As a kid, I had a lego catalog introducing the new time cruisers theme, and the professor and the kid made a small appearance on almost every page and every different theme, paradisa, ice planet or pirates etc. Time Cruisers were an infinite source of stories that could apply to any set I owned! Sadly, I didn't have a single until last year. I bought 6493 Flying Time Vessel on Bricklink and wasn't disappointed by the craziness of the model. Well it was a trap, cause now I don't want to break it down for parts and it uses some precious shelf space I don't know if I'll find the courage to do a review, I've never done that, but if you review the time lab, it would be a great start

I like this ship! I find very funny th fact that a weapon-seller's ship looks so much like a fish . Seriously, I love the quantity of brick-built and "standard" weapons you achieved to make fit in it. I'm a big fan of this type of chain-gun, sadly I don't have enough binoculars in one colour to make mine, and a black/darkgrey chain-gun is just weird. And non-seriously, am I the only guy here who found that the front of the ship looks a bit like your avatar TheWarden? Great cool MOC, I'm a conformist!!

[Brick Flick] Driver: You Are The Wheelman
Decale replied to TheOldGamer's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Hello, So how much work has been done? Did you have the time to create something like a police-car maybe, or to continue the opening scene in the car-park? I hope you didn't realise how huge your project is and became afraid of doing it, because it's just totally awesome -
Well what is sure is that I won't be buying any new or used lego sets or parts until this theme comes on my TRU shelves. This is just awesome. I finally have the feeling that voting "bring back the adventurers line!" on a poll wasn't totally useless! I'm also glad to to see that I'm not the only one to be completely excited by Pharaoh's quest

Don't worry about that, it's still cool because I usually never win anything . -
Eurobricks Raffle and Mystery Treasure Hunt
Decale replied to WhiteFang's topic in Forum Information and Help
The Mime is home, he's alright. Is it normal that two of his heads are sad, and the third is scared? I thought at least one head was supposed to be smiling. Oh well, never complain about FREE LEGO Thanks WhiteFang! -
lol my frenzy seems to have a little problem, he doesn't have as much muscles as yours! Great minifig mod, and cool moc.
-
Hey I own the small head, the male one. I think I'll post some pictures when I'll be able to
-
lol No, the magnets are not trying to kill the minifigs and there's apparently no trace of a cake ^^ You did great Cyan, this is awesome! If only I had more than 2 of those magnets... I'm a conformist!!

Eurobricks Raffle and Mystery Treasure Hunt
Decale replied to WhiteFang's topic in Forum Information and Help
Wouhou yeah! I'm so glad I won the mime (3 heads for the price of 1, which actually in this case is zero€ ). This hunt provided so much fun, my girlfriend got caught at the minute I read her the rules, and stayed on the site on advanced hours of the night, she who had never surfed on EB before! I think it was a very well done treasure hunt, it had some good clues which needed a specific lego knowledge and THAT made it sooo gratifying when you found what you were looking for . Thank you Eb staff, you can be proud! -
Hello Rook! When I took a look at your work because I'm a curious sagittarius, I saw the first picture and thought :"Hey, the shape of this ship is cool, it feels really powerful, I like the size of the cockpit glass and the details of the tail. Don't see what makes it sagittarius though..." THEN I saw your opening features and BLEM! This fighter became my favorite spaceship I could swoosh it all day long. Very nice work!

New Lego magazine + minifigure in France
Decale replied to GRogall's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hi, I actually have this magazine, and it is a 2x8 plate but I don't see the point of putting it with the fireman minifig, maybe it's intended to be a sort of stand like in the minifigures series 1 and 2 . If anyone want pics, I can scan some pages! Of course, you'll have to understand French. It is made of some stories written like a fireman diary and some games. It really is a product made for the kids (yeah I know Lego in general is made for kids), but my girlfriend gave it to me as a gift so it's just fun and a nice object to collect -
Tpatcher's new and improved Kingdoms layout!
Decale replied to Tpatcher's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Hi Tpatcher! I like your layout a lot, although I'm not really into castles. You have a good number and a variety of population that make your MOC (let's call it a MOC, you worked on it after all!) very realistic, and the life scenes are well depicted. I particularly love the forestmen hideout, I wanna build a house that looks like that :p Will you at some point post a pic of a more general view of the layout? P.S. What's the wizard frying? Gold? The philosophal stone? -
Daaamn! And I was with my fleshie heads like a hen who found a knife! Now I just have to find one of those pencils and voila! Your decal and helmet are just like official parts, your minifig could totally be from a collectible serie P.S.: Did you paint yellow all over his face including the black parts or did you have to do it with more precision(what I mean is : is it some sort of transparent yellow?)? I don't really know about sharpies and don't even know if I can found them in France...

Thank you KielDaMan, You're right, a Rock Band theme would be awesome, they could make a Iggy Pop torso! And also some cool guitars, Les Paul, Flying V, Telecaster, Jaguar... Ok this will never happen . I'll try to improve this preliminary work, it will never look realistic but that doesn't matter. Plus I like brick built guitars. If only I had the time (and patience) to do a stop-motion videoclip... I hope I'll see a RockMOC from you sometime

Sorry I just added 3 more pics to the "weezymingo" folder and that made it unavailable again for a while...

Hi! I know there are some musicians here, so I'd like to share some pics of the beginning of a project for my band. It's a kind of artwork, and I really wanted to use Lego for a lot of reasons: lego is cool, colored bricks go well with our style, it's a challenge to represent my friends with minifigs and lego is COOL. Because it's the holidays, I don't have access to all my parts so I focused on the drum kit. I tried to make its shape accurate to my friend's kit, but choose to use some funky-looking printed tiles (it's a two parts choice: it gives a more toy-ish look, as it is supposed to be viewed by non-AFOLs, and I don't have the right colors anyway ). The goal is creating a whole stage with amplifiers and spotlights etc Have you tried to do something similar? You can see the pictures on my Brickshelf. (Note that I'm the bass player of the band and did not represent myself already.)
-
I love it!!! It's so full of realistic and nice looking details, it must provide a lot of playability. The set-like feeling is very strong so I would definitely buy it no matter what the price would be! Truly awesome work

Well I bought those minifigs just to transform them into keychains. The pirate and and Space Police officer were from 3€ set, and I didn't let them the time to be a part of my collection. And I have 4 or 5 Johnnys more. But you're right, it's a kind of torture: once you've got the legs glued to the body glued to the head glued to the hat (and sometime an accessory glued to the hand), there is no way back . And even less when you've drilled a hole through the hat and head and body, and filled it wich a metal bar If you want to do that too, just by some spare MFs, you won't regret it. The effect on my friends is :"woow, a lego dude with your keys! He's cool! And what? You made it yourself?!" héhéhé Some stores sell kits to make keychains, I don't know how to call those in english, but you know, the kind of store that sells paint, papers of all sorts, mosaics stuff, every creative hobby. I'd love to see it if you make one!

Well I suppose this is the best place to post this, so please allow me to show you my beloved Lego keychains I made myself with my (not so) little hands We all prefer one minifig upon others, for me it was Johnny Thunder, the great Adventurer, for the rich background he was in and also for his cool hat, his cool face and his cool torso (what isn't cool about him? Ok his legs are just black). Having bought a few JT's after my "dark ages", I realized I wanted him to be everywhere I was. My girlfriend bought me some chains and rings and I started torturing my poor Johnny! Here he is, hanging proudly on my appartment's keys. Sadly, the first version ended up quite bad. He broke (I had used an old G string from my bass guitar stuck into Johnny's body) but I was able to find him lying in my street. So I tried to do a deeper hole (ouch) and to fill it with a very good glue (I lost some finger skin during this part) and a solid part of metal I modeled just for that purpose. Now I carry him every day I also made a space police agent from the K-9 bot impulse set wich is still homeless or should I say "keyless" He looks really pretty with his old school gun! And here is the Pirate hung to my car keys: Am I the only one to do that? It is much cheaper than a regular lego keychain and your choice is extended to an infinity of possibilities If you have any question, don't hesitate! Thanks for reading
