  1. Oh my god. 13 euros for 6 normal batteries? Recently i bought 6 rechargeable AA batteries (pentagram infinity 2600 mAh) for equivalent of 13 euro (50 PLN)
  2. I mean using non lego (custom) battery boxes etc. Using normal bbox or rechargeable bbox is acceptable, but using lipo batteries etc - i hate this. Same thing as glued bricks, modified. I hate this. I think i`m lego purist.
  3. Using non lego batteries sucks.
  4. From sariel's facebook profile, partially started tow truck:
  5. 2 battery boxes - for exchange, when first needs recharge
  6. I have 2 regular Battery boxes, each with 6 Pentagram Infinity 2600 mAh rechargeable cells. 8043 with servicepack works fine on this cells.
  7. Nice price for 8258, but for USA only. Any set in USA is a lot cheaper than same set in Europe...
  8. No, if we are talking about the same part. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=64451 Used in 8047 (2x)
  9. Or build main model, take it apart and build something else.
  10. IMHO all kinds of stickers, in any lego set sucks.
  11. Also ordered service pack in august, and didnt recieved any extras.
  12. Buy 8258 first, then 8043 as next. 8258 - fantastic wheels, switch, xl motor, battery box, panels, lots of gears, new gear racks (1x13), couple of new technic frames, many liftarms and some very useful parts. 8043 - new set, so you can buy it in 2011. It has 2 x IR Recievers, 2 x IR Remote Controllers, 4 M Motors, Panels, BBox, and some useful parts. I got both, and i can say - both of them are must have.

  14. Recieved mine today, all of new LA has stamped: 40x0.
  15. When i started collecting lego again (after few yrs of break) i bought (sets presented in order of buy). 8264 - 8275 - 8265 - 8297 - 8258 - 8466 - 8049 - 8047 - 8858 - 8043 - 6753 - 8051 - 5866 - 5867 - 5893
  16. Connect two medium motors, insert axles into both, and rotate one. It works.
  17. Very nice model. It could be a Official set :) Can you try to mount smaller whells in front and take some photos ?
  18. Peeron sucks (it's slow, innacurate, outdated). Use bricklink
  19. Nice, but i think this post will helpful: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=46968&view=findpost&p=821718
  20. I bought this model 2 months ago, and i'm very happy. Of course i haven't applied stickers - i hate them (but model looks great without them) Gallery of new wheels, and comparison with 8297 and 8466 wheels in my BS gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=445749
  21. Me too. Lesson 1: be patient, it takes time
  22. Jurgen, that videos you posted shows system called Combilift: Very robust and compact container unload system . But quantity of pneumatic cyllinders in this system makes this very hard to build using lego with preserving correct scale
