Is there any sense? Comparing 8258 which was released in 2009 and Unimog is that unavaiable yet? Buy both, 8258 isn't quite expensive, and unimog will cost something around 190 - this is expensive, but in couple of months you can afford to buy both peter_m - masz konto na lugpolu? :P

And describe your problem, they should reply or call you in few days. I had broken XL motor (too late described it's only broken cable) - but they send me new motor, and told to keep this broken (if it's something that i want to repair by myself, i can keep it and try to repair :P)

Contact LEGO Customer Support, usually in cases like this, they are sending a new motor to customer.

But this is non lego element, saving space isnt good excuse for using those batteries. Same odd and ugly thing is modyfing original lego pieces, for own purposes. If you are lego builder, build using lego, not lego and other things. This is my opinion.

I hate modyfing oryginal bboxes, or connecting non original battery packs (like one above - 11v battery pack). Get normal bbox (and use normal 1.2V rechargeable batteries), or lego recheargable battery.
