While I do not have the first game, I have played the demo and I have to say it is the best Superhero game ever. I believe the main reason why is the fact that it isn't based off of a movie, but instead an original story. Also, the combat and gameplay is lightyears ahead of any previous superhero game. And after watching the trailer, I am super excited. I am glad the game will move into the city.

Personally, I was disappointed with the Reach trailer. While I like the fact that you will play in a squad and presumably play as different members, the trailer revealed little about the game or gameplay. I just hope that, unlike ODST, when you play as different squad members it will feel different. ODST felt like the same game no matter what. I also hope that you go all over the planet instead of just in one location, again like ODST.

Wow. That is all I can say. All of the Summer sets look amazing. While these are still preliminary, I feel like all of these sets will really be amazing. That Boba Fett looks amazing. While the Turbo Tank has followed the theme of putting main characters in CW sets, it includes 2 all new main characters that look well worth it.

Welcome to Eurobricks. I have a couple of quick suggestions. First off, make sure your pictures are a good angle to allow us to see everything. Also, make sure the lighting is correct. It is hard to make out the picture. You also might want to take more and put them on brickshelf or flickr and then add a link to your post. Other than that, it looks great.

I am sorry, but I don't agree. First off, the Jedi Temple mission is meant to be during the main story, not after like the other two DLC's. Also, if you remember, you don't really "survive" at the end of TFU. Even though you don't die, you become a lot like Vader, with a similar mask and such. Now, if you go back and watch the trailer for TFU2, you will see that Starkiller is healthy and whole, with not damage or Vader-like apparatus. Considering the Canon ending of TFU is Starkiller dying, TFU2 might not be completely canon. On a side note, I think simonjedi simply did not like TFU, so that is why he doesn't want a sequel. Also, he is correct in his analysis of the ending of TFU. No need to tell him to "wait a damn minute". Just like you he has an opinion. Now that I look at, you seem pretty sure how TFU2 will work. You might not be right either. I don't want to start an argument, but I think you criticized simonjedi a little too harshly.

What a great set and a great review. While the vehicle is kind of corny (as is with every BP), the figures look superb. I find it interesting that they decided to make the Hoth Trooper torso they have used for years an officer and develop a new torso for the regular troops. I love the detail of the new helmets, but I wish they had some brown on them to add some color. While I agree with you that they sit too high on the figures head, they are still better than the old ones.

Lego Toy Story set out in US Reviews of 7595 and 7590
SWMAN replied to Pugsly's topic in LEGO Licensed
Lego is so close to a war theme. Just paint those torsos different colors and get different heads and we will be all set to go. -
Let's try to stay on topic people. We don't want KimT having a fit.

Very nice MOC. My only criticism is that Han and the Snowtrooper look to be in a very "awkward" position. Other than that, it is great.

Wow. That is amazing. I love the double-decker base and the crashed troop transport.

I really love the new Tie-Fighter Helmet. It is more in line with the Stormtrooper helmets.

Although the quality is pretty bad, the movie still looks AMAZING. Iron Many is my second favorite all-time superhero movie (behind The Dark Knight). And this one looks funnier with more villains and more story development. While the first half of Iron Man was all about character development, Iron Man 2 can jump right into the action. And War Machine looks AWESOME!!!. I cannot wait for this movie. This and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I are the two I am looking forward too most next year.

I am glad that Lego is continuing the Castle theme into 2010 and I am also glad that they are starting over. I really hope that they go back to their roots with the multiple human factions of the 80's and 90's. I was getting a little tired of the fantasy aspect of the theme. Sets which are a bit more historically accurate would be great. The 2009 Castle sets were pretty lacking and limited, so I am not surprised they starting over. This year really seemed more like a transition year than anything.

I honestly think it is supposed to be a random pilot. Lego isn't always about making specific characters. I really hope that these battlepacks mean Lego is willing to take a stab at Hoth again. On a side note, I really like the improvements that have been made to the Rebel Pilot head and body, along with the soldier's helmets and the commanders body.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
SWMAN replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think all of those figures are great indications of possible new themes. If Lego is taking the time to develop these, some of them may be put to use later. -
I agree. Of course, Lego could try to take this opportunity to sell us a new Jedi in a set that they don't even belong in.

This is truly an amazing set. While I would love to have this to display, I am not willing to spend $180 on a set that I am simply going to put on a shelf. The size of the ship is impressive, especially when compared to to the Brickbeard Bounty.

I just finished the campaign, and I have to say I am impressed. I know a lot of people have criticized the campaign for being too short, but personally I found it very rewarding. I think the story was better this time, with interesting plot twists and great locations. I personally found the levels in Washington DC to be simply amazing. Plus, unlike the Modern Warfare, it left a nice ending that set up a potential sequel. And while some have complained about the Airport mission, there a few things they haven't considered. Number 1, you don't have to kill any civilians. Number 2, that mission really shows how bad terrorism can be and the consequences of the world we live in and actions we take.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
SWMAN replied to Commander Flash's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
While I was not a fan of the game, it is still a nice little Brick Comic. -
All I have to say is that I am glad the OT is still making appearances in the waves. I was afraid the CW was going to take over.

LEGO Atlantis Guardian of the Deep Set Review
SWMAN replied to Mariann Asanuma's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I know that this is the only review of an Atlantis set, but so far it looks too much like previous underwater themes. The focus seems to be too much on divers against creatures instead of divers against an underwater species. The same thing happened with the Viking theme. -
I am afraid you will be waiting for a long time for it to be $40. COD4 is just now $40, and it's been two years. So, I really love the game. The graphics are amazing, and while the campaign is short, I am not very good so it has taken me a while to beat. My one big complaint is that you can't shoot while holding a riot shield. I have only played a few Spec-Ops games, and they are pretty fun. I like how they are co-op, which adds a lot to the game.

Not to sound like a know-it-all, but he actually took the jacket off before being frozen. He was frozen in just the shirt. And the pants were the same. Back on topic, I really hope they make a new Wampa mold and don't use the Yeti. The Yeti just doesn't look enough like the Wampa. They body is totally off.

I love when companies go the extra mile to show support for our nations veterans.

I have the game for the 360, and downloaded the DLC missions, both Tattooine and the Jedi Temple. I have not played them yet, but I am excited about them. From what I have read, if you have the original game, don't buy the Ultimate Sith Edition. You can download the two missions for cheaper than buying the game again, and the Hoth mission simply isn't worth it. I wish the Hoth mission was available to download, but I am ok with just the two. I went form the Wii to the 360, which is a crazy improvement. I just can't wait until a real sequel.
