  1. Very creative. I love the rebels hiding in the underground cavern. Very detailed.
  2. I had mine on medium, and it ran relatively smoothly. It takes a lot of time loading, but the battles ran ok. Still, after seeing the videos and screenshots and how good the graphics should be, I am not willing to not upgrade. I got the Nvidia 9600 GT, so hopefully I will be able to run it on Very High. The gameplay is definitely a lot better than other versions. I will be interested to see in the full game if you can capture prisoners. I am guessing you will be able to. The other thing about the game that excited me is the separate campaign that spans the creation of the United States. The first part is the settlement of Jamestown and the colonies. The second is you playing as the British in the French and Indian War. The final one is playing as the United States in the American Revolutionary War. Medieval II had something like this in the expansion pack, but not nearly as story/mission driven.
  3. Ok, so I know this game is not being released until Wednesday, but the demo has already been released. So, has anybody played the demo yet? I have, and it is really good. The interface is a lot different that previous versions, but the gameplay is basically the same. The graphics are a huge upgrade, so if your computer is old you will have to upgrade. I am a big fan of the series in general, and own Medieval II and the expansions, plus with my pre-purchase from Steam I got Rome Gold. I am really excited for the game, and I ended up buying a new graphics card. I would suggest downloading the demo to see how it will run before you buy. The medium graphic setting aren't really good enough to warrant buying the game.

    I'm a citizen!

You must have at least 100 post to be a Citizen.
  5. I would say use Ziplock bags to separate the the models so you can rebuild them. You can pack all the bags in a couple of boxes.

    Steam Battle

    Very cool.
  7. Very nice. I love the catapults and rock carriages. The Shadow and Skull armies are very nice. It is interesting how you changed the Crownie legs to blue. I have never seen anybody do that. I kind of like it.
  8. I watched the first couple seasons, but recently it has become too mundane. It is hte same stuff every season.
  9. Wow. That is insane. I would never spend that much, but I also don't have an income to support that much.
  10. Very impressive. I love the idea of portraying Castle's as they have expanded throughout history. Lego has only focused on the stereotypical castle, so it will be nice to see some other types.
  11. I agree. A lot of shows are missing action. I want them to be fighting a Terminator every episode.
  12. To each their own, but from the looks of the thread, nobody is trying to show off or say theirs is bigger. They are simply sharing.
  13. No, people are simply curious about how much peoples collections cost. As an estimate, I have 25 sets at about $1000 US.
  14. Periodically sets that have seemed to disappear suddenly reappear on Lego. Often times they are sold-out and have returned for no reason.
  15. Wow. No need to get defensive. I don't hate the new sets. I simply do not like them enough to spend my money on them.
  16. It was all about putting Jedi that kids would want in sets that Lego wanted to sell. Even though he was never on Kashyyk, Lego knew that if they put Mace Windu in the Turbo Tank, it would sell better.
  17. I am not a big fan of the whole idea of big pointy ears for elves. I think a different face with more distinct features and new hair and headgear would suffice. stash2sixx, i would actually be surprised to see Forestmen instead of Elves. I think Lego would continue with the whole fantasy idea and expand into the Elves. Of course, with the small summer line, Castle might be dying out.
  18. I have to admit those polls are a little too stereotypical for today's society. I am not one to kick and scream about stuff like that, but I am surprised Lego would use those.
  19. I just finished season 3, and the season finale was probably one of my most favorite episodes. I did not expect four of the Cylons to be revealed so early, only one or two. Can't wait to see the rest of it, but I am sad it is ending.
  20. I am not a huge fan of the the new printed trolls. I liked them a lot better when they were plain. I don't think I will be picking up any of the new sets.
  21. I agree that the creation of more "play sets" is nice allows for a lot more playability instead of a ship with some figures. I am not quite sure how the Imperial Shuttle relates to the Venator. Two totally different ships. I disagree with you when it comes to the AT-ST. I think that it is great that they included it. It adds a lot to the playability and adds more to the set without adding a ton to the price.
  22. I would not suggest buying this set. The castle design allows for very little playability and with the figures, it can't really interact with any other themes. Also, it incorporated the big swords like KK, plus you have to put stickers on everything INCLUDING SHIELDS, which Lego quickly decided was a bad idea.
  23. Those are great MOC's, but that is it.
  24. I don't think Lego is being racist or stereotyping by making the villains in the Space Police line aliens. First of all, no one is going to be offended, because nobody here is an alien. Second, they want to make money. They are trying to sell toys that kids will like. Making aliens the villains is something that has been in the media forever. They are simply continuing the trend. There aren't offending any actual people or groups, so I don't think it is a big deal.
  25. Still March 30th for the USA.
