  1. ...No. I admit I would not be here otherwise. Still, the Kingdoms as a whole are not mass murderers. They are knights, soldiers. While a select few kingdoms may be less than noble, for the most part I would think they are the embodiment of it. As you say, we all have our differences. Seeing Nerwen hand off her bright polish, Dyric silently chides himself for not acting sooner.
  2. What I'm most curious about with the new Battlefront is how they're going to treat AI. Obviously these days AI is treated with a lot of care, with teams trying to make it as good as possible. Personally, though, one of the greatest parts of the original games was the hilariously dumb AI, and I really wonder if they're going to try to emulate that or just improve it entirely.
  3. Those where the actions of a few small groups - soldiers led by a corrupt government. There is no way you can pin that on the entire Kingdoms, else you make the same argument as Nerwen.
  4. Having finished business with Alexis, Dyric walks down the stairs to hear Guts' outburst. Attempting to keep calm, Dyric pulled up a seat. Yes, because everyone from the High Kingdoms is instantly notable for their pre-disposition to mass murder.
  5. Can't say I've even heard of one. But I do have a Crimson Venom that could come in useful. There's also a banana here with some handy healing effects.
  6. What do you want for it?
  7. Guardians of the Galaxy takes place far, far away from Earth. If it shows up at all, it will be in backstory.
  8. Excuse me, Matthias. Seeing Alexis' note, Dyric figures he can make a deal for something else. He follows her upstairs and waves in greeting. Hey, Alexis. I was wondering, is there any way I can buy your Quickdraw quiver?
  9. Slowly, Dyric enters the hall. He should be glad, he knew. He had just helped steer a country from destruction. Yet he worried for the future of Baltarok, especially with Haldor now there. He ordered a drink and continued to contemplate.
  10. I think Dyric's final thoughts reflect mine - this quest definitely had its ups and downs, but in the end was very good. I admit I came in expecting another Dastan, with all it's convoluted twists and turns. I was a bit surprised when this quest was more streamlined, but I think it was for the best. My only real complaint in the whole of the quest was that it really slowed down towards the middle, but not knowing what speeds the other quests where at it's possible this was a necessity. There's been a lot of talk of the Diplomacy, and to be perfectly honest it was something I rather enjoyed. As has been said, it was a great concept that wound up falling flat. Still, I enjoyed talking to Garohn and Haldor's conversation with Bastala was great as well. The final battle was a bit confusing, I'll admit. Again, I think the concept was interesting but the end result could have been better. Still, it's interesting to see where this will go in the future. I believe Flipz mentioned the diveresty of 89's party, and I think that was my favorite aspect of this. It was really interesting playing a more 'true good' character among characters like Guts and the situation we were in. For a moment, I was thinking some real conflict may come out of it. I'll have more to say when I go and read the other quests, but all in all this was a lot of fun, thanks for letting me take part in shaping Baltarok!
  11. I'm assuming yes. It brings a whole new light to his actions - doubtless HYDRA wanted to acquire the armour. So I assume Winter Soldier spoilers are fine now? I suppose it has been a month.
  12. I agree with Doc. The canon's been played with so much lately, and to be honest what they've put out recently in terms of the EU (FotJ, LotF, NJO) hasn't exactly been the best. In reality, canonicity is going to come down to the individual anyways, just as it always has.
  13. Well, alright, then. But if you're even looking to give it away, don't be afraid to seek me out, okay? With one final wave to Haldor, and the circus party, Dyric follows the others onto the boat. This had been a quest full of turmoil, of difficulty of many sorts, and yet now that it was at it's end he felt he would miss it. They had done a lot today, perhaps even more than when they defeated Wren, they had preserved not one but two countries, and hopefully ensured a long peace. Yet now, it was time to leave.
  14. You sure I can't make you an offer? I've got more gold than you'd know what to do with. Hey, Matthias. You did pretty good, today, especially for a newer hero. Hang in there, okay?
  15. I am shocked at this news. Slowly, I process the news before finally speaking. ] Haldor. When we first met, all those years ago, you were but a brash young man, not that I was any different. But I am proud to say that over the time you have developed into a warrior, a soldier... a hero. I consider you one of my closest friends, if not a brother, and though this quest has had its trials that has not changed. You say that we have been rocks in your life, and I think I speak for all of us when I say you have been a rock in ours. I would not be the man I am today without you fighting by my side. So thank you, Haldor, and I wish you the best in all future endeavours. Until we meet again. I clasp Haldor's forearm in a final gesture, then take a step back.
  16. Dreyrugr, before you all head off, is there any way I could make a deal for your Hunter's Plate?
  17. I would say Republic Commando goes pretty firmly in that 'play it largely because it's Star Wars' niche. Sure it's a fun game, and I love it a lot, but when it comes down to it, there's not that much that separates it from a lot of other shooters, aside from some interesting game features.
  18. Yeah, I'll say it is. When the sun comes up over the Eastern Wall, there's... Dyric sighs deeply. Hey, look. If you see an Eyric Rone while you're there... tell him I'm alright, okay? Tell him about what we did here. That I need to keep doing this, no matter what. Tell him I may see him again eventually... but for the moment, Heroica needs me. Thank you, sir. I only hope what we've done here will make a lasting difference.
  19. There's also Graviton and Blizzard in the works, Season 2 is going to have the interesting line-up in villains.
  20. Killing you proves the Kingdoms are serious about change, and gives the orcs the retribution they want. The Kingdoms where preparing for no invasion under you, they were starting one. Overhearing, Dyric turns to Nelvyn. Duplovia, you say?
  21. Agents of SHIELD:
  22. Justice must be paid. Blood was shed for these crimes, it is only fair that the instigator of them do likewise. If it is to merely be the Paladin, fine - he did have a role in corrupting David, so it seems. About the bridge... perhaps a team of both orcs and humans could work together on its completion? Help the beginnings of peace between the two. No matter what prices are paid and what deals are met, it will mean nothing if it doesn't bring some kind of unity between Baltarok and the Kingdoms. If unity, trade, friendship isn't forged, than this will all only happen again. Is there anything the orcs can offer the Kingdoms in this trade? I know you have already paid with blood, but this deal seems to be coming pretty heavy on the Kingdoms' side, if all your requests are met.
  23. I've never seen any Channing Tatum movies, so I have no idea how good he would be for the part. But he seems excited to do it, and for the moment that's good enough for me. As long as they give Gambit more runtime than Origins: Wolverine, I'm fine.
  24. Actually, Nerwen, I've changed my mind. Could I have Tarok's Wrath, please?
  25. Misguided? He nearly started a war! A war that would have been long, bloody, and heavily damaging on both sides. That's not the act of an 'impressionable youth', it's the act of a criminal who needs to be punished justly.
