We were called to do a job. You're the job. So either move, or be moved. I don't have much preference.
-
Soren gave dismissive snort. Remains to be seen. We were asked to clear the baggage car. If they don't move, well... Oh yeah? Show your boarding passes, then.
-
Looks like we have illegal trespassers. Mind explaining yourselves? Soren places a hand on his blaster, ready to spring into action should a fight break out.
-
Weren't you the one going off about the necessity of being subtle? Not sure if announcing a bomb threat for shits and giggles is our prime course of action, here. As the others tear through packs, Soren walks over to the door on the opposite side of the room. Where do we reckon this leads?
-
Soren shrugs, allowing a wisp or cold energy to emanate from his hand. Do as you wish. I can deal with up close and personal.
-
Damn it, Soren muttered, floundering in the dark. He ran his hands against the wall, searching for the light switch. Anyone have a match or something?
-
'Not sure if drawing attention to yourself is a good way to be a spy. Agreed. Seems like our best step forward is to clear out some chores. Get a good word in. Learn some secrets.
-
'Could be Irgonstead's problem and not Heroica's - his communications seemed a little busted up. I'll take a fizzy water for the moment. Should probably save the hard stuff for later. Damn. So you've been out of the monastery for a hot minute, then?

Everyone’s always angry about something. ‘Remains to see how relevant it is. I’ve used the gates for jobs in the past. Did some diving once or twice; wasn’t really my thing. ‘Felt too... exposed. The best way to travel is with a stick in your hands. ...The train ‘s not a bad compromise, however. What have you got?

Soren shifts up into a reclined position. 'Couldn't just be someone here to fix an Ætherspace relay, could she? Actually, say, would someone that experienced in live-code be able to help us track down our doppelgangers? We never really got a description or anything. After considering for a moment, Soren shakes his head. Nah, we probably don't want anyone else snooping too closely in our business. Sill in thought, Soren waves down a passing attendant for a drink.
-
You don’t have to tell me twice. Soren was already lying flat on his seat, his jacket bundled up as a pillow and his eyes growing heavy underneath his sunglasses. Keep an eye out for anyone looking antsy.
-
Stepping away from the receptionist, Soren shook himself out. I hated that, he said flatly. We need to find these impersonators and get them out of the picture. They'll just complicate everything. That's our second priority after the main objective.
-
That was correct. Your swiftness in addressing this matter will be noted. Sorry for the delay! As mentioned elsewhere, I'm going to have some difficulties checking in all the time but I'll try my best!
-
Soren took in another icy breath, trying to calm his nerves. Only one way through this, really. Of course I’m Irgonstead. Surely you recognize a man of my esteem. Now I demand a proper investigation into this matter before I allow my guards to have their way with things.
-
You didn’t answer the question. Check your records; who took Irgonstead’s tickets? Surely you’d want potential company faults thoroughly investigated.

Soren indignantly glanced back at Yelena. 'Never said anything about killing. But we'll do whatever we need to. Regarding covers and suspicion and the like, we should probably keep a distance from each other. We're merely three passengers. Should be easier to search the train that way.

Soren allowed himself a slight chuckle at the elf's joke. I'm sure we'll see if your 'guns' are up for the task sooner or later. Still, Soren's anxiety wasn't much eased. Slow down, he thought to himself, be present. He took a deep breath, elementally cooling the air as he did. The icy coldness ran through his body, putting his senses on alert. His hand reached casually to his hip, close to his blaster - just in case. After a five-count, he released his breath, letting a small cloud of vapor escape his lips. Just like that, his jitters vanished into sheer focused awareness. Whatever happens, happens.
-
In the tense silence, Soren shifted over to Zaria, This looks like a strict ride; if things get hairy we may have to shoot our way in.
-
Soren is far less impressed by the glamour of the planet, keeping a dour expression as he waited in line. He took little heed of the bustle around him, rather, he fixed his gaze on the guards, trying to gain insight as to how they were feeling about the crowds.
-
Soren moves past the remark, evidently not remotely concerned with Yelana’s worries. Zaria might as well lead; I have no better suggestions.
-
Soren shrugged. Whatever happens, happens. Plans are shams anyway; once you’re in the field it all goes to hell eventually. All in all, sounds like a basic train job to me. Get in, get the device or as much info as possible, and get out. No questions here.

Soren walks almost mindlessly through the bustle in the docks, unfazed by the music of machinery. In the board room, he finds a seat in the far corner of the table, and gives a firm nod to the Stratitarian on the screen. Everything looks good to me!

Heroica: Glory Amongst The Stars - Heroica Hall
The Legonater replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in Heroica! The RPG!
After having long since drifted from the conversation, Soren was startled to see someone refer to him. The over-eager gun lady and the elf monk... okay, this could work. Soren grabbed his pack and immediately set out for the docking wing.
