Nice and cosy Mr Timento! I like it! It really has a viking feel. The plants on the roof really give that extra feel. Also good job making it accesible! Mr Tiber

Looks way better than the sloop version! It seems to me the cabin and the sails are improved? Mr Tiber

I just discovered something... This is indeed a MOC. My Own Cake... Mr Tiber

Whack-a-Fig Contest Semi-Final Round 1
El Bucanero replied to Hinckley's topic in General LEGO Discussion
So should we vote in every poll or wait till our real favorite shows up in a poll? Mr Tiber -
What a funny commercial... Well, thanks for posting! But it appears we already have a thread about this. ;-) Although, at second thought, that one's only about commercials, this thread is about this one in particular huh? So I won't close it. Mr Tiber

If you are a pirate fan, this is really a must! (not really interesting for someone who ONLY likes the movies and doesn't like pirates) You play at the end of the 17th century, with lots of Islands, hidden treasures and... Pirates! With great graphics! If you have this game, you should really download the build MOD at www.piratesahoy.net. It gives you more ships, outfits, weapons, everything you'd like! So anyone who has this game? I'm gonna take some screenshots of ships in battle anyway, so I think I will post them here too. If you do not like gaming, it's also useful because it's also a great inspiration source for LEGO Pirate MOCers. Not expensive either btw, I believe I saw it for 5,99 EUR the other day.. Here's the official website. Let's discuss! Mr Tiber

So did I... For some reason I thought you were from Austria... :-$ Mr Tiber

Well, converting the .JPGs to .PNGs won't work I think. If you save a pict as a .PNG, they quality remains the same, unlike .JPG. So the quality of the .JPG will also stay the same. You should save them as .PNG when saving them directly, for converting .JPG to .PNG won't help ;-) . Mr Tiber

Very detailed, Mr Mosana, good job! Where should they be put under? Mr Tiber

We have... You ask for MOCs, we should discuss those in the MOC section. And I also changed the name to ships of the line, since this topic isn't only about the Victory... EDIT: Look! Another Victory style ship! The HMS Repulse: Mr Tiber
-
I agree, but I think it was almost immpossible to make it black and white, since the pieces he used in the cabin were big, and apparently, he chose to take white ones instead of black ones. Mr Tiber

Those clothes and faces look quite good as pirates! Ah, but I know, it's from this set: The Nitro Flash. Mr Tiber

Great! Let's hope that day comes soon! Cones?? I was actually refering to this: Don't see any cones in that part! :-P Or are you going for cone-made headrails? Anyway, I think it would make it a bit more realistic:
-
I agree! It's amazing he managed to do that on those small prefabbed hull pieces! And he made it look quite decent to! I think it's better than the other Soleil Royal, although the decorations are quite similar... But what do you think about the other two ships? The HMS Knight is a mighty fine ship if you ask me! I wonder how much center sections he used on that ship... Mr Tiber

Thanks! If you say so, I will! It's a multiple whacking session! Whacker(s): Horatio Nelson(thank you Mr Mosana!), Bonaparte(I'm sorry about the torso, but my printer gave up..), Hinckley39 and Mr Tiber. Whackee(s): Horatio Nelson, Bonaparte and Hinckley 39. Whacking weapons: A strange futuristic stick, a croissant, a broomstick and... a sailboat! Location: Napoleon's favorite place on earth: Lion Mound!! Story: It's 2007. Napoleon Bonaparte has returned from the dead!! He has heard about a big grassy pyramid in Waterloo with a statue of a lion on it. He directly visits it. He likes it! But when the news about a little green man who has stolen Napoleon's favorite baguette reaches him he gets so angry he immediatly whacks the lion of it's pedestal. Suddenly, Horatio Nelson, Hinckley39, and Mr Tiber, who has heard Mr Bonaparte is in danger, show op at the mound. All ingredients for a multiple whacking session! Horatio whacks our good friend Mr Bonaparte! Two can play at that game! Now Mr Hinckley shows up in his Halloween outfit and with his awesome broomstick. Mmmmh, another thing I can steal... Stunned by the sudden whack, the two lose their balance and fall of the mound. While Mr Hinckley is looking what happened to the two, a man dressed in green shows up... Oh no! It's Mr Tiber! And he has Mr Hinckley's beloved sailboat! Whack Group picture!!! The terrible whacking war has begun!!! Mr Tiber

Whoaah hello beauty! Though, I think It could be longer and wider, this is a beautiful ship! I especially like this view: And about the 4 gun's issue, well, the ship with closed gunports will scare away pirates! :-D If you build another ship exactly as this ship (because it would be a pity to destroy this one), but then as a frigate with only one gun deck (with a little more distance between the guns), it would be one of the most beautiful and accurate LEGO ships I've ever seen! Just a little nit-pick, I think the headrails could use some work. ;-) maybe this can help you: Mr Tiber

Errr, you meant first post me heartie. X-D Mr Tiber
