  1. Agreed, but it is certainly a nice ship! Especially the stern section looks very Black Pearly.. And that poor BSB looks like a tiny fishing ship next to this ship! :-D Mr Jackson, I don't think it's a Megablocks set, not enough big and ugly pieces in this. ;-) Mr Tiber
  2. Great! According to your other MOCs this is going to be a great creation! Mr Tiber
  3. Amazing how similar this is to the model! That must have taken you alot of plates... Four xl baseplates is big... Nice job! Donut on! Mr Tiber
  4. Nah, they did have the U.S.S. Constellation, a glued model of the pirate captain and a towel with pirate on it but no pirate sets... :-( Anyway, the pics! Today's subject: Cars! If I'm not mistaking, A Chevrolet Bel Air and a Chevrolet Impala: Another Chevrolet Bel Air and a Buick roadmaster: And a bit of classic cars: Mr Tiber
  5. Great use of the hull Mr Cyryl! Those are indeed fine cannons, haven't seen them before either. The crew is also a nice choice. The way you attached the rudder and the figurehead is simple, but effective... That's good! Nice. Mr Tiber
  6. Hi there town fans! I've recently been to LEGOland Germany, and the Miniland was beautiful! Because there are quite alot of ships I thought I should post this in the Pirate forum, but there also were some great city creations. And besides, I think I should be spending more time outside the pirate forum. (images are links to bigger pictures) One of my favorite buildings, The Reichstag in Berlin: The best LEGO sailing ship I've EVER seen! 8-
  7. Info... mmmmh, I think you'll have to contact LEGO for that... I do know, you'll be put to the test. The first test is already hard I think: You have a table, a heap of lego, and 45 minutes to make something interesting and creative. If the examiners are impressed, you may continue the course. Is there anyone else with info about this? I'm also very interested in getting modelbuilder for LEGO (I hope for Miniland) too bad I'm too young... but I don't know if I'm creative enough... You though, SirNadroj, certainly are! Mr Tiber
  8. The pencils and crayons look like actual crayons! But that iPod is really cool! My only remark would be it is a bit too dark. Those earphones really look... real.. :-D You're so creative man... Mr Tiber
  9. Castle Greystone is a very nice castle! The little houses around and in it make it so special. Perhaps some of the outside and walls are a bit plain, but the inside is veery detailed. But some of the castles in Miniland are quite the same so this is a very impressive and beautiful castle. Mr Tiber
  10. Welcome to Eurobricks Frederick! Your English is quite good so no need to worry! ;-) You're a castle fan eh? Castle's a mighty fine theme! *y* Enjoy your stay! Mr Tiber
  11. They look very good Mr Bonaparte! The decals are very clean... looks like they are normal printed LEGO® torsos. Mr Tiber
  12. Welcome to our friendly port Mr Muscle! So, do you have a brickshelf Gallery? I've seen more Car fans with Muscle in their name at Brickshelf... Ahem... Excuse me??? (j/k mate) :-P MR Tiber
  13. Welcome aboard Lord Galewind! I hope you enjoy your stay. Danger on! Mr Tiber
  14. Hi there and welcome! I see you are a fan of Lord of the Rings? Gondor to be precise.. Nice! Gondor was also my favorite faction! Mr Tiber
  15. Very nice SirNadroj! Your faces have a correct facial expression wich is hard to achieve. Good job! Your hands arae also nice, but I'd make them a bit more thick. I fully agree with Mr Whacker, you have a very unique and creative building style! Your creativity is astounding! With your talent, I think you'd pass the LEGO modelmaster tests without any problems! But perhaps I'm being fooled, have you followed a LEGO modelbuilding course or something? It's something I'm planning to do btw... Mr Tiber
  16. Nice recreation! Although this is 1733 Shipwrecked Pirate and not 6234 Renegade's Raft ;-) This is 6234 Renegade's Raft: Problem with recreating classic pirate sets is that some of the bricks used in them aren't available anymore(like the shark, the oar, the flag and the minifig above). :-/ But perhaps I'll give it a try someday... Mr Tiber
  17. Let's put it like this: I have a dark age, every once in 2 months... Although you shouldn't say age, because they normally don't take more than two days... And every time one ends, my love for LEGO grows (it's slowly getting a passion). But my last dark days were months ago! I returned from my trip from LEGOland germany two days ago, and the miniland was so great, I decided never to stop with LEGO building. I'd love to learn proffesional building and work for LEGO! Mr Tiber...
  18. I returned from my trip to LEGOland Germany two days ago! You're lucky. Quite good, they also had Skeleton Ship attack and all other Castle sets. They also had some legends, like an old airport and the U.S.S. Constellation. The PaB is big but friggin' expensive... I didn't really go for the rides, but they were okay, I had fun! The miniland is beautiful! If it's hot when you go, I recommend you to go in Captain Nick's splash battle in the pirate land. Very refreshing! X-D Certainly! Mr Tiber
  19. Mmmmh, who do we have here? Interesting where I always show up! You are quite good in creating small vessels Mr Atlac! Good job. Mr Tiber
  20. MOCs with a backstory are always the best! Very good job Mr Dreamweb, you always surprise me with your next ship. The story is very well and creepy. It really fits with the ship. And like always, the details on your ship are amazing. Bravo, Mr Dreamweb! Mr Tiber
  21. What is this BSBackup exactly? Mr Tiber EDIT: I love these: Inn at the olde Road. The Scimitar.
  22. I just returned from my trip to LEGOland, they also had it there. 69,99 EUR... Same price as on S@H. I used my money at the PaB though. But it's a nice set. Mr Tiber
  23. Very nice MOC Mr Brickster. Looks like it would make a nice KK2 set. It's much better than LEGO ever made for KK2.. Especially the tower feels set-like. Nice one Mr B! Mr Tiber
