  1. Aaah, but we have had topics on these (this and this) before. The Creator has also joined us. I believe he goes by the name of "Armada". He only made a mere 2 posts though, but perhaps if someone could send him a reminder?
  2. ^^^ That pretty much sums it up. Especially the ""we are in love with our ships" part X-D Ebay or Bricklink would be the best places to buy a pirate ship. Unless you are not looking for sets offcourse, but I think it's unlikely to find anyone here selling one of their MOCs. Hmm, I thought this rule was only for selling, and not buying? Although it's not really greatly appreciated by new members.. Well, welcome to EB! Don't forget to post a topic in the "Hello! My name is" forum. ;-)
  3. Yeah, or why not just 865 like the BSB? We are to design a pirate set that could be taken in to production, right?X-D
  4. Depends on what the minifig represents. I usually have 4 types of minifigs with red coat torsos on British ships. 1. Imperial gaurd torso, yellow epaulette, bicorne, low-officer 2. Imperial gaurd torso, yellow epaulette, shako, marine 3. Admiral torso, yellow or white epaulette, black bicorne, higher officer 4. The captain of course, admiral torso, yellow epaulette feathered bicorne, comes with cape sometimes. (5. In case there's an admiral on board, Admiral, admiral torso, yellow epaulette, white hands, feathered bicorne, and a red cape.) Clear enough? X-D
  5. Sorry, I don't speak Hairy Shark.... *wacko* BTW: I was talking to the edit reason thing, not to you X-D
  6. Nice! Now I don't have to change mine. :-D But don't you think they look a bit too clean to be barbarians? *knight*
  7. And why are you so sure I did not mean lightNning?? Doofus.. |-/ :-D Some lightning bolts would definitly spice the MOC up AND they would provide lighting!:-P
  8. Great entry Duke! Nice and original, and I like the build your ship idea! Although I would strongly advise you to take a picture with better lightning for voting. If one could hardly see what they are voting on, I think they won't.. 8-|
  9. Looking nice and action packed! Are those romans standing on the rock? And is the red supposed to be lava? That poor guy swimming in the lava is a nice touch. Who are those attackers and what torsos do they have? I have a feeling those are exactly the same as some soldiers I made, except for the helmet, wich is black. 8-|
  10. That's one find Mr Phes. Very different. Although it would seem to me, it's not futuristic elements being added to the past, but the other way around. Still nice to see those minifigs in this futuristic setting. Do we know the builder?
  11. Err... Some Indonesian (love the food), Chinese, Austrian and perhaps even more I don't know of :-P Born in the Netherlands. Don't ask about bloody %, cause I have absolutely no idea :-D
  12. A Xebec is a ship type, I believe. ;-) If you read EB Pirates everything will become clear! X-D
  13. Mr Tiber is added! Nice idea.
  14. Goodness that thing is massive! I can hardly believe that is going to be a 24 gun frigate anymore. So your moving on to the two-decker concept?
  15. You made this little ship look quite good, even on this scale. Nice! Also good piece-usage. I've never seen a lever used as a bowsprit before. What navy does it serve? According to the colour scheme I'd say the British Royal navy, although it actually would need to have the yellow black and vice versa. Hmmmm...
  16. Yes, like Phred stated, I did get one from the Caribby Clipper but I believe one also comes in the Islanders set Enchanted Island. Have to look into that once..
  17. Mmmhh, that's a though one... Pirates, perhaps? Didn't see that coming, did you? :-P Well, castle (old castle mostly) also strikes my fancy and adventurers is a jolly good theme too, but if you mean "active fan" it would sure be Pirates(for about two full years already..). I like anything history involving. :-) That said, I think the Café Corner Green Grocer etc. are mighty fine sets as well!
  18. I am lucky enough to be the captain, but I didn't build it. :-P Oh yes, very awesome ship. I fully agree with the others, it's the best built Xebec I've ever seen. Very wonderful *wub*
  19. Oh really? :-P (click me)
  20. Look at this fuzzy picture I found: I think it might be the stern.
  21. Awesome looking ship captain K! Also looks very dangerous. I believe he added more guns.. Does your ship support the British Royal Navy Captain K? I sure hope so... 8-|
  22. Our own Errorist uses LDD, and he's a true master! Here is his Brickshelf Folder. Feast your eyes on it. ;-)
  23. Thanks everyone for your awesome feedback! *sweet* We really appreciate it. Hmm, I see your point. But there's more unrealistic things in the comic Ruben, haven't you noticed that Hairy Shark? I mean, when was the last time you saw one of those? :-P
  24. You've just came to the right garage to place your entries for the ultimate Hot Rod contest! Please post only cars entries in this thread, motorbikes all other posts will be deleted. Discussion and more information, can be found in this thread. Have fun and be creative! :-) Edit by Hinckley: Check it out Tiber. Green Hair needs you to post an entries thread for him and me to pin it. I shouldn't be so hard on him, he probably had to change his pants again. It's probably not easy for him, being a chronic trouser peewee. Edit by Captain Green hair: aaawww Hinckley, you silly puppy. Do you need attention again? You're so cute...yessss coochie coochie!! Edit by Hinckley: Your face is a coochie.
  25. I'll sue you for doing that! There's a Tiberworks Copyright
