Personally, I don't find the ads instrusive or (half the time) even noticable. I'm certainly not a fan of making this a pay site. I'd much rather spend my money on the bricks. If you don't like the advertise, don't click on the link. Steve

Ooooh, I like prize 4, 1 and 5. If anyone wants to trade their White Jedi thing, please let me know. Steve

Ooooh, that's a lot of cool prizes. 111 entries, 24 different figures. Plus we saw bags and bags of duplicates. Should be a very good chance of winning something. I hope I win the White Jedi thing or Max Rebo or Leia. Or Saruman or Wormtongue or Aragorn. Steve

Ah, so it is. I saw that and thought it was a reflection off the bag. Now that you say it, though, its clearly ears. Steve

Oh duh... I should have known that. Steve

Oooooh, I see Max Rebo (I want, I want) and Endor Leia hair (I want more, I want more). Ninja Turtles (meh) and dead warrior helmets (sweet, can always use more of those). There are some super cool ornaments here. I am going to be stealing a bunch of these designs. So far my favorites are Archer's (though I won't be using it), dr_spock's (where does that clear ball come from?), otaku's (though I'm going to scale it down), bacem's (the design is perfect), ronenson's (explain the connections to me), Etzel's (it looks like it should be from Latin America not Scandinavia), HerrJJ's (needs to be scaled down too), Kristel (I love it, I'm always quite impressed with your builds. How is the roof attached?), SalvoBrick's (though it looks kind of heavy), CaptainNemo's (though I'm not sure I want it on my tree), Yooha's (great size and design), SwanDutchman's (needs to be smaller) and Cecille's (where is that clear ball from?) Just realized I didn't post any photos. Well here are some photos of the highlights. Steve -
We've already kind of got George Washington with the Revolutionary Solder from Series 10. He looks an awful lot like ol' G. Dub. to me... Steve

The hair on 6th one in the back row reminds me of Mrs. Slocum from Are You Being Served?. Steve -
Nice. I'd like to see it in real bricks. On a semi-related note, I think someone(s) did up a large AoE display for a convention. I'd like to see the pictures if anyone has them... Steve

I've been working on this off and on for several weeks. It opens up and comes with Chicken McNuggets, Fries, Orange Drink and a Toy. (pictures are links) Steve

To celebrate my 4000th post at classic-castle, I built super-sized version of my forum alias' namesake. You can click the image for a link to the gallery. And here is a link to the original minifigure form. Steve

I am not sure this is the right place to share this, as it wasn't really a Lego event, but it was an event with a large collaborative Lego display, so here goes. About a month ago, the Utah Lego club did a large display at the Salt Lake Comicon. As estimated 80,000 people attended the final day of the three day event. These are the pictures I took at the event. They are mostly my miniland figures with their cosplayer counterparts; though there are some pictures of the crowds and display. Here are all the miniland figures milling around the celebrity line and the lego display: Plus, you can see my part of the display here. Right now everything is still in the tubs, so you'll have to make due with the sloppy pictures and backgrounds until I get it all unpacked for proper photos. Steve

Congratulations. That is an impressively cool accomplishment. Steve
