Excellent review..... Now I'm going to have to get 2 of this set and a whole bunch of extra Anubites and the Pharaohs heads. [btw. Jake Raines and Professor Archibald Hale. ... just wondering if the woman in the cobra set is named Shine? Raines, Hale and Shine... sounds like a postal service sponsorship deal ]

I'm also hoping the alien head will be replaced. Don't really need more mummies, after I'll be getting all the ones in Pharaohs quest line.. but these figs are looking pretty nice. Race driver is pretty boring.. but I'll keep his hair. is that the first time its been released in tan? The part I'm most looking forward to is the beard on the fisherman.. pity its arriving after Christmas though cos that's a great beard for Santa.

Family doesn't need presents this year its all about Pharaoh Lego for me lol Where is the real one?? sounds like a to be continued line to me.. hopefully more sets after the first wave.

Just a couple of ideas. Gender: Male Occupation/print on torso: Genie - sand green bare chest with dark red waist coat. Type of headgear: a pony tail that fits into the top of the head. Type of facial expression: sand green with goatee. Color on torso/legs: dark red Accessory: Gold genie lamp Gender: Female Occupation/print on torso: Harem girl [like on the TV show I dream of genie] Type of headgear: light yellow version of Padme long hair. Type of facial expression: pouty and moody double sided Color on torso/legs: pink or red. Accessory: bunch of grapes or bottle.

Series 3 seems like a bit of a let down.. seems like the only new pieces we are getting are a beard, fishing rod, ski goggles, stereo, elf hair, sumo hair, tennis racket, baseball bat and gorilla head. In series 1 and 2 almost every figure had a new accessory. series 1 had 12 new bits.. series 2 had 15 .. and so far it looks like series 3 only has 9 new parts. It might change when we see the final products. Hula girl gooks good..haven't got that hair in black Indian chief an update with trojan spear... Samurai.. another welcome update. pilot... do we really need him? Fisherman.. great beard.. but otherwise a pass. cyborg...hmmm... pass Snowboarder .. shes female thats the only bonus. Driver........ yeah as if we haven't got enough of those from recent world racer sets. Rapper .. pass.. but he has some interesting parts Elf .. That should stop people asking for elves. Sumo.. angry half naked fig. Don't think I need many of these. Alien.. send him back to space police Mummy.. aren't we getting enough mummies with the Pharaoh's quest line? Tennis player.. nice figure and gives us the nurse hair in a different colour. Baseball player . pass .. the sports not even played here. Gorilla.. must get. So far series 3 has the least amount of figures that I'm interested in.

I looked closer at the pic from the biplane set and it looks like the falcon headdress has Horus eyes painted on it. So it looks like the Pharaoh is using the Egyptian gods Anubis and Horus to fight for him. Do Gods beat humans with guns? btw also looks like there is a couple of different versions of the mummy's face.. one only has 1 eye another has 2 eyes. the bike set shows both of them. Some of the sets use the studio mummy face.. So I'm guessing these will have a different face that they haven't finished making yet.

To me it looks like the new dark blue headdress has an eagle or falcons beak. Makes them look like the Egyptian Falcon god Horus. Could be why its only the winged mummies that are wearing the new headdress.

At least not everyone figure is carrying the silver weapons. I've never really been a fan of silver swords. The dragons are all using black or dark grey weapons. Means i can finally get a black sword. Is it just me or are the Dragons faction already outnumbered? Even their tower only has two guards to defend against 2 lions.

These sets look great. Looks like we are getting a dark green wizard.. but why does he have to have a grey beard. I think he'd look better with a black beard. Unicorns and Dragons seem pretty good factions. Might have to wait until we get some better pics to see if it really is a unicorn on the shields.

I know we have already had the Black falcons... or Eagle Crest as us Aussies knew them. i just figured if they were going to dig up old factions again ... like the lions we might as well have their old nemesis the eagles/falcons reinvented. . Although Bringing back the Black Dragon [black Knights] faction would be great.. not so keen on the green dragons returning...

Bonus.. If they are confirmed for NZ we'll definitely get them in Australia. put me down for one of each.. the historic figs are top of the list . scuba and dummy.. I dont have alot of use for.

Why do we have to have Lions...again? Isn't this the 4th version of them. Serpents or Dragons sound good but I would think Eagles or Falcons would be a better opposing side.
