AWESOME!!!! this set is so cool.. I'm a big fan of !he Addams Family and The Munsters so for me this is a must have.. THIS Is my main buy for the year .. for me it outranks any of the LOTR sets :grin:

How about a theme based on Asterix the Gaul. It would mean alot more Roman figures, Julius Caesar, Gladiators, Gauls, Vikings, Pirates, Atlanians, Egyptians and basically every civilisation that has appeared in the comics could be used. I think this theme could be pretty awesome. Sets could be based around some of the most popular books.

Classic castle all the way. I bought the LOTR dvds and figures when they came out... But after reading the books .sigh... the books were painful to read... so long and soo boring. It really turned me off everything LOTR Roll on 2014 when we have a return to actual castle sets instead of overhyped overpriced Lego sets. The only thing that interests me about the whole line is the new horses.

Does anyone know when series 7 collectible minifigures will be reaching Aus stores?

Ok here's my guesses. Some of these have been said before.. 1. Dog walker - child with dalmatian. 2. Medieval Bard with Lute. 3. Baker 4. Olympic runner with torch. 5. French aristocrat - [Marie Antoinette] 6. Mascot in Chicken suit. 7. Cyclops or a centaur 8. Female Magicians assistant 9. Female pirate captain 10. Evil Queen 11. Woman in Harem costume -[kinda like on the show I dream of Genie] 12. Falconer - with a new bird. 13. TV camera man 14. Santa 15. Cupid 16. Horse Jockey

I use the pirates of the Carribean sets. Escape from London and the Mill. but I also use The Diagon Alley set from HP with a few changes. Gringotts makes a good town hall for my medieval town. Olivanders fits in great and Borgin and Burkes is now a witches potion shop. I'm also planning on converting my 3 winter village sets into medieval shops. The buildings look rustic as they are so it won't take much converting.

I don't know if anyone is interested... but Toyworld at Watergardens Vic........ is having 40% off Pharaohs Quest sets... strange seeing how they only got them in a month ago.

I was at Toyworld at Watergardens today and they had the entire range of Pharaohs Quest sets. Looks like they aren't exclusive to Big W anymore. They also had a couple of city sets and ninja go.. But no S6

I still don't see how Lotr is a historic theme and Pirate of the Carribean isn't? They are both Licenced and based on movies that were/are due to come out... and both themes die just after the movies are released. The people who view the historic themes are different from those who view the franchised forums. Can we put Lotr in a sub forum inside historic so that the forum viewers who are actually interested in Lego's own historic creations don't get flooded with the franchise of the month sets.

If we only get the joust set in 2012 and its replaced by some other licensed theme Is there still a chance of getting a castle advent calendar for Christmas 2012? We are due for a new one next year. Since they have already made some new characters for next year.. It would be pretty easy for Lego to put the new maiden, prince, Black Falcon Knight and a couple of soldiers into an advent calendar. It would be a great way to get multiples of the popular characters. And if its released 6 months after the joust it could keep the line going until 2013. it could work.

Wow this is an awesome build.. I love every bit of it.. especially the axe blade hood ornament. Amazing work.

These look like awesome sets and a great way to change the police and fire themes. They were getting kinda repetitive. I just hope that they bring the bear out in smaller sets because i want a bunch of them

I dont want Lego to actually release sets from this theme. Lego is about creating characters and combining parts from different themes. But I would really like them to create the pieces that actually appear on the screen. Theres many pieces I've seen in the promos and videos that aren't actual Lego pieces. It would be awesome if you could actually build the characters on screen exactly as you see them. If they could spread these onscreen pieces throughout different themes this would possibly make more money for Lego and make it possible to create the onscreen Lego characters.

There was a Kingdoms advent calendar in 2008 and one in 2010. It will probably be the end of 2012 if we get another one. This year they favoured Starwars over kingdoms and in 2009 the pirates theme got an advent calendar. Kingdoms calendars seem to only happen every 2 years. Why is everyone finding things that could be a sign of the end of the Kingdoms line? The exact same thing happened this time last year.. then we ended up with the 4 new sets in 2011. Aaaahh a black Lego cat crossed my desk.. its a sign!!

I don't know if its legit.. To me it just looks like a tourist standing in front of the mural at Federation square Lego exhibition. If they are trying to sell it for charity you'd think that they would include some close up pictures of it. [hoping the old guy doesn't come with the mural] It looks awesome up close ... but does anyone have a spare wall big enough for that?

Series 5 has reached Victoria.. Just picked up my box of series 5 minifigs from Toyworld today..

According to the pictures they haven't worked out the piece count yet. Hopefully that means that they might add a few extra parts to the bow of the ship. The figurehead looks like she's in mid air.. and where are her wings? The Black Pearl bow sticks out further than this and it has more curves leading down to the figurehead. At least we are getting a few interesting looking characters Davy Jones and Maccus. Hope they give Maccus his sword fish weapon. The rest of the Pearl crew is pretty generic looking, Cotton, Marty, Ragetti and Pintel we can always build them using parts we already have. Can we have a Jack the monkey painted with a skeleton pattern??

I managed to get all 4 of the new castle sets at my local Toyworld today.. The owner of the store said that these castle sets are a Toyworld exclusive.. has anyone else heard of this. or can confirm it... It seems weird to me because up until now the castle range has been available to every store.

Wow.. awesome first review... I didn't even know they were making this set.. anyone got a link to the the other new sets in the line? I don't really collect the harry potter figs but I must have Narcissa. Her hair pattern is so cool I want to use it on my other figs.

I think that's close to the Davy Jones figure we'll get but it will probably use the claw from lobster man in the Atlantis sets. The claws held in the minifigs hand.

When we get the Black Pearl .. It will probably have another Jack, Elizabeth and Will . but I'd also like to see 2 extra crew mates on board.. Ragetti and Pintel [they are the wooden eye man and the Ello Poppet guy] Ragetti and Pintel have been in each movie and have been on the Black Pearl longer than anyone. Maybe Lego could give them reversible faces so that they also become skeletons to cover the first movie. I'm also hoping that we see Mickey and Cotton made as figures. [short guy and the old guy with the parrot]

I got a box of series 4 figs at Toyworld today. Looks like they have reached Victoria. Looks like we have a different figure assortment too.. 4 scientists in a case instead of 2 like the UK gets.

I finally got my case home today and opened it..I'm extra happy with the assortment of figs. My case breakdown is different from the others. I don't know if its just mine or all the Australian cases are like this. 3 Lawn Gnomes 4 Kimono Girls 3 Musketeers 4 Punk Rockers 3 Surfer Girls 3 Vikings 4 The Monsters 3 Hockey Players 3 Street Skaters 5 Sailors 5 Soccer Players 5 Werewolves 4 Hazmat Guys 4 Artists 3 Ice Skaters 4 Crazy Scientists !!!!! Definitely not complaining about the extra scientists

Without scrolling through every post for the last 84 pages... does anyone know why there are no extra parts for each figure in season 3?. Mexican had an extra maraca, forestman had an extra feather, skier had an extra pole, robot had an extra hand etc.. series 3 has no extras.. why?

I just received my Lego 2011 catalogue in the mail today. Its got 9 pages on ninja-go, and shows the series 4 minifigs, but no Pharaohs quest... Just wondering if anyone from another country has the 2011 catalogue with the Pharaohs in it. I'm starting to wonder if this means that Australia wont be getting Pharaohs Quest.
