  1. Nice tank, did you base your tank from any real one? You could swap the 16 tooth gears for 12 tooth double bevel gears (comes in grey), that would fix your issue of all the gears meshing with each other. I also would of not of bothered with the old style connector at the end of the main gun.
  2. Looking at your cad drawing it seems to be a bit rushed, the boom needs to be lower that that shown in your picture. I am looking forward to seeing the 'head' of it,It will be interesting to see how you use the micromotors.
  3. Since you have a extra stud in width why don't you buy your self two L motors? That would make it a bit stronger as well as adding more power to the tracks.
  4. I agree, you might have been better with two sets of tracks and then span both of those with plates.
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks Benjiii 712. Your crane looks very good so far along with your Mercedes truck on your flickr page.
  6. Nice web site,I think I was on it the other day.....
  7. I am listening to this right now.....
  8. Sometimes they can slip, but the trick is to have them power a set of gears to the function and not drive the function directly.
  9. The grab I made above does not jam, when the grab opens and closes fully it will rotate 360 continuous. Since you have a worm gear in your design I don't think your need two micro motors to power the grab.
  10. I use the micro motor on my grab I make for the 8043,it is slow but because I used a worm gear it is fine. A micro motor is perfect for what you want to do.
  11. That is a really nice truck. I like how you made the working tail gate and the pallet jack.
  12. I have my beams sorted out into different colours and then shoved into a big enough box.
  13. Nice collection, you can never have too much Lego...
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks,I look forward to seeing some of your technic mocs soon.
  15. Same for me,although I still buy bricks, plates etc... from bricklink.
  16. Wait........I am one of the pros...... Jurgens backhoe should look quite good with it. I was not happy with the roof,so I restyled it.
  17. Very nice entry, but I see a problem..... As a unskilled builder in real live I can tell you the way you placed the forecourt pillar above a full hight window and door is not a good idea.... But other than that a very nice entry with lots of detail.
  18. Once you have downloaded the 'manual download' from the Ldraw site, you can then follow these steps on how to add new parts to Mlcad. 1)Open the downloaded parts folder and the Ldraw installation folder (c/program files/Ldraw) in two different windows. 2)In both windows you will see two folders named 'parts' and 'p'. If you open both of these folders once more, you will then see another two folders called 's' and '48'. 3)Next copy and replace the contents of each matching folder from the download to the matching folder on your computer, remember to replace the two sub folder's matching parts as well. 4)Finally if you open Mlcad and from the top left menu select 'scan parts',it should then tell you that it found new parts. All done.
  19. I like your service station. I like how you made the jerry cans, simple but effective.
  20. Small but well made....nice truck.
  21. I like your vignette CorneliusMurdock. Maybe it might of been good to see another sene with the turtels eating the pizza?
