"Alexander, Master Boomingham are you all right? You look a bit... woozy." He turns and notices that Bad Rat A is still running about, "Leave the little rat to me!" he yells as he tries to squash the vermin. Thalion attacks Bad Rat A with his scepter, from the back row. If it is down, nothing back row. Note to QM: Thalion attacked with Ice, so should he not have done double damage (23*2) to Bad Rat A? Also, Alexander has 3 defense, so he should get only 1 damage, right?

Never liked the Lone Ranger much, but I have to say those sets look great. Thanks for the pictures!

I dont like to talk much, unless its about my band or heavy metal but now, on this, I have to add something to that effect. People that talk more are far more suspicious to me then the one who dont, especially since we know so little about one anther. Attacking each other, making accusations based on the some numbers and calling some of us "scummy" because of what we wear!? Yeah, I have some suspicions but I am not about to reveal my conclusions just yet... Finished with my woman 'cause she couldn't help me with my mind, People think I'm insane because I am frowning all the time, All day long I think of things but nothing seems to satisfy, Think I'll lose my mind if I don't find something to pacify, Can you help me occupy my brain?

Thalion attacks Bad Rat E with Ice spell, from the back row.

"As you say master Boomingham", Thalion nods and moves to the back. "Dont worry Alexander" he says with the smile while getting a bottle of remedy out of his bag. Thalion does nothing, in the back row | IF the battle is not over after this round, Thalion uses Remedy on Alexander, from the back row. OOC: Costy, put Thalion last in the battle order so that if the battle is not over, he can help Alexander.

After his first Ice spike hit the nearest rat, Thalion immediately prepared to cast another one at the rat on his other side. Thalion attacks Bad Rat C with Ice spell, from the back row. OOC: If anyone has a better suggestion for Thalion's action send it to me and I'll update; potion on Sorrow, Endgame?
-
Realizing they were quickly surrounded by a pack of vermin, Thalion barely had enough time to take his Opal and aim an ice spell at the nearest one. Thalion attacks Bad Rat D with Ice spell, from the back row. OOC: Why do interesting things always happen when I not around, to check in time? Sorry if I am late with posting action...

(How can the tracks just disappear?) Thalion looks at the party, "Any thoughts? Perhaps there is some secret passage here that smugglers use or something similar... Maybe we can push or pull something here..." Thalion searches the floor for any sign of walls being moved.
-
"Am I the only one to whom this looks like a setup of a trap?" Thalion whispered more to himself then to the party, before he went over to inspect the walls of the alley, specifically for any possible loose bricks.
-
Thalion shook his head, "I am no expert, so to me, one small animal tracks looks similar to another but you are right master Sorrow, we've seen no frogs so far. But there is one thing that has been stuck in my mind ever since master Sancho mentioned it, and that is that he saw a frog that "hopped a little funny"... What do we do if that is the Ziegfried boy - Merlyn is his name, right? What if the poor lad somehow hurt himself?"
-
Thalion follows the party quietly and nods slightly, after Nagure's answer.
-
"Of course you can to join us, as far as I am concerned any help is welcome!" Turning to Nagure Thalion whispered, "I am not paranoid about the bird, just suspicious or worried if you will; I've read about large birds, unable to fly like those, that are very aggressive towards people..." Thalion then turned to Sorrow, "Believe it or not, while we were in the midst of battles in Charis, a strangely dressed orc showed up out of nowhere, pulled the cloak out of his bag and just gave it to me. It was around the time of the Grogmas holiday, so I think it must have been father Grogmas and since I didn't wish for anything for myself someone must have wished it for me. Whoever it was, I am grateful to him or her." He finished the last sentence with a smile. Note to QM: Thalion is not a type of guy who would instigate a fight, he is just being cautious...
-
OOC: Shouldn't they be the same? Sorry, I have no instructions about how the cloak works, so far I've only used it to scan enemies... I guess there is no point in scanning him as an ally; if he joins us we'll know them either way, if he doesn't 1 of 2 things happen, we part ways and it doesn't matter or we end up fighting him. So its the enemy I guess...
-
Thalion joins in the whispering, "I believe its partially revealed Alexander, with master Boomingham and my questions, but no matter, we may not have to reveal the whole thing. If he wishes to help of his own free will, I wont object, but just in case, I'll do some checking." He turns to Nagure, "As for your question master Nagure, I trust him but I have some suspicions about that bird..." Thalion uses his Cloak of Espionage to check the stats of Smiling Sancho and his ostrich.
-
"Excuse me for interrupting, but did you by any chance notice any frog that was, how to put this right..., different then usual? Also, if you don't mind, could you point us to where you saw the frogs you mentioned?"
-
Walking in the back with Alexander, Thalion stops and looks at the strange bird for a moment, and an even stranger man who was riding it. Something like that he has never seen, only read about it. He looks at the party and raises his eyebrows in a questioning gesture, silently.

Aperture Academy Mafia School: Sign-Up Thread
-obelix- replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hello and again, welcome to the Aperture Science Computer-Aided Education Center, more commonly referred to as Aperture Academy. Before we start, keep in mind that although fun and learning are the primary goals of the Academy, things are not always as they seem and you may find yourself in difficult situations that require the use of intelligence and common sense, two things that most humans lack in any noticeable quantity. As a result, for your safety, and the safety of others, please refrain from being stupid. Stupidity will result in an unsatisfactory mark on your permanent record, followed by death dismissal. Please note that the appearance of danger is merely a device to enhance your learning experience. In order to determine if you are suitable for admission into this prestigious program, please answer the following questions to the best of your limited human abilities and then payment information will be provided so you can begin down the road to learning. Have you participated in a learning experience of this nature in the past? [_] Yes [X] No [_] Learning? No one said anything about learning If you answered yes to the previous question, did that lead to a successful result? Any opportunity for further education and learning is good, and since science has always been a passion of mine, combining those leads to my wish to participate here, in this exciting experiment. Did you feel pressured to write more because of the above limitation? [_] Yes [X] No [_] I can't count that high [_] Oops, I didn't read that -
"I didn't notice that, good eye master Sorrow." Thalion focused on the tracks, but could still not see anything Sorrow pointed out. "I don't see why we shouldn't follow them if they are what you say."
-
Thalion notices the tracks and tries to determine who they could belong to. His basic ranger training was not enough so he gives up after several minutes of looking at, and around, them and turns to Alexander and Sorrow, "I cant seem to figure out who's tracks could those be. Perhaps you two should give it a try, maybe you'll have more luck..."
-
"As good a direction as any to start. Lead the way master Nagure."
-
Again, Thalion turned and smiled at Morgan, "I believe we got it, track and talk to the frogs until we find your brother." "Aaaaaah, I see what you mean! Yes, we had several such lapses in the academy; mostly newly arrived apprentices who had trouble containing their energy. That is why we study it for so long, but we mainly learn about elemental energies, as they are most common. I've never heard of anyone turning someone else into a frog, on purpose or accident - though hearing about it wouldn't surprise me at all. But magic/ether is not the only kind of power that, left unchecked, can be dangerous; politics, religion, money - people who wield those are the ones I distrust..." Thalion remembered the end of riot in the Hovels, and shuddered. After a short while he raised his head and looked at the party enthusiastically, "Instead of this gloomy talk, let us go help a boy!" A faint smile appeared on his face.
