    The new movie was fine. I don't understand why people think it was so bad. This isn't the movie discussion thread though, this is the new sets thread. Hopefully Lego is going to continue it's TMNT line for 2015.

    I can't even imagine how much it would cost to buy all of the pieces needed for this, let alone the time that's needed to design and then build this. This is just crazy good! Nice job for sure! You said that you only had time to put in the 115 bats or so. Why were you under a deadline to build this?

    Thanks deraven! That is exactly the info I was looking for. My focus is from when I was a kid (late 80's through 90's and Lego Batman and TMNT) so I didn't have a clue when he asked me about it.

    I've never heard of Quatro bricks. I take it these are a predecessor to Duplo. What decade are these bricks from?

    Assuming they make more sets. So far, there hasn't been any word at all about any new TMNT sets in 2015. I hope they make some new sets though (would LOVE a turtle mech set).

    It's a prelim pic so the actual set might be.different. But it could be the same so, I'll wait for the official pics.

    I kind of look at the Nick TMNT series as this age's Batman:TAS. It's a bit dark and gritty for younger viewers. My kids were watching them but a couple of episodes scared them and it's a bit violent too. For me as an adult though, the Nick series is fantastic. There's lots of comedy and lots of action. Throw that together with four ninja turtles and a very wise Splinter, and you get a very entertaining show. My only beef is that it can get a little gross and the beginning of Season 2 was too much "mutant of the week" for me. Otherwise the new show is well done.

    Both movies were fine. People gave them new Ninja Turtles movie a lot of crap but it was entertaining. I would love to get my hands on the 30271 polybag.

    Agreed. If the wheelbase were more proportionate, I would be all over that thing. It looks kinda weird the way it is.

    I'm totally going to get this. I was just thinking the other day how I've lost interest for Lego Batman sets. But now here I am seeing what Lego has done, and it's awesome! Well done Lego! I can't wait to own this. Edit: Did I miss what the set number is for the new Tumbler? What is it?

    I payed $55 for Shredders lair at TRU. That turtle sub looks great and I didn't know that Karai comes with a helmet too. This wave looks great.

    I found this at my local TRU today and bought it. I'm very impressed and happy with the set. At first, I was confused with the steps leading up to the throne (while building them), but once it was all together it proves to be a great feature. There's some unique pieces and it's the first four armed minifig I've ever had. It's a great start to the 2014 TMNT sets. Can't wait for the rest.

    I just noticed Shredder's Lair has vanished from the TRU website. Not that it's news, but still. This next wave looks really good. And I really want that polybag.

    I didn't realize there was a four armed fig in the Ninjago line (I don't pay attention to Ninjago). What set number is that in? The movie turtle figs look radically different from what can be seen in the pics.

    Wha!?!?!?!? This is awesome! I've never seen a four armed minifig before. This is a must buy for me. The set looks clean and detailed. This next wave of TMNT sets look much better then last year's. I want this now!

    Finally! I was wondering when we would get any pics. This years line is looking promising, and I am looking forward to that Kraang ship. Can't wait to see the rest.

    Next years TMNT sets look like a great improvement. The Leatherhead figure looks good, but I'm sort of confused on why they chose Spider Bytes (especially since his only appearance was S1 ep2). I'm very excited over the turtle sub and can't wait to see how Karai looks. These sets make me much more excited then the new Batman sets.
