  1. That seems like a good starting point. When we have some nice tutorials covering the different aspects of brickfilming we can bundle them in a pinned index. Even without a separate forum that could inspire some to start making brickfilms or to share their brickfilms on Eurobricks. To any brickfilmers on EBs who want to contribute by making tutorials, please don't hesitate to do so.
  2. Nice job on sorting everything and working out a handy system! This thread brings back some memories. And it reminds me I still have a few boxes waiting to be sorted.
  3. I'm definitely coming. Maybe not the full 4 days (I'll do my best), but for sure the weekend. This deserves some frontpage attention
  4. Yes, that one falls in the decent camera's category. Let me know if you want access...
  5. When I entered this thread I had no idea I would be staying for such a long time looking at those amazing pictures which appeared. It shows you are a true pirate/ship fan and a lot of passion went into this fleet. Seeing your work has an inspiring effect on me. It makes me want to build another big ship (I currently only made one 'big' sail-ship). Let me ask a typical question. Did you add any interiors to these ships? Can parts of them be opened so you can see the gun-decks, cabins, ... ?
  6. Interesting find oo7. That female pirate is new to me. I'm happy we are getting some females, it makes the new pirates line different from the original pirates line and opens a world of possibilities.
  7. Access granted! As long as it's an official Lego set, then it qualifies. I've given you access to the academy.
  8. We already have this thread for discussion the new 2009 sets. I'll close this one.
  9. My brain automatically starts searching for a suitable title for you I've got no idea. Read the rules
  10. I've used paint, but I didn't do it with a simple brush. We were discussing this somewhere in 2006 in this topic, but I realize that's a long time ago so I'll share the secret once more: This is a picture of my airbrush:
  11. No Sir, I never even bought 1 silver helmet in my life Now I got you thinking... right?
  12. You're in. Welcome in the Academy!
  13. This is a "by the book" review. It's got good and clear images, right size, clean white background. Perfect job! It's actually the first time I see this set... dark ages... . Thanks for showing it to me now!
  14. What can I say... this is amazing! There's so much that to discover in this MOC. It's full of details and ingenious techniques. Your a master SlyOwl!!!
  15. Of course you can. Your access has been granted!
  16. I'm going to sell all my UCS Star Wars sets. I've got no room for them and they are only collecting dust.
  17. Thanks, that helps me a lot!
  18. That's sad news. I hope they make some good money. I've got a small side question. Do you happen to know the weight of the Lego UCS Star Wars 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer (box + set + instructions). Since you are selling this set I'm assuming you know the weight for determining the shipping cost? Thanks anyway.
  19. Happy B-day Ruben!!!
  20. Yes, that's he new name for the "bad kids" group. When a member is in the "Taking a break" group, the staff is having a private direct conversation with the member (I don't like the term "chambered"). This can be for a number of reasons. Often the member being too young, immature, not following forum guidelines after several warnings, ... . There can also be a simple misunderstanding that needs to be discussed, so "Taking a break" is not always negative.
  21. Hi Richie, I'm also a member on the Lowlug and CC, but I haven't been visiting them enough lately. Happy to have you here on Eurobricks!
