I never knew these helmets were that multi-funtional :-D

I don't think black sails are very realistic. I'm making some sails myself at this moment and I'm using Evil Willy's manual as a guideline. White cotton in a bath of coffee to get the right "sail color" :-D However, I'm using the "Captain Green Hair method" for attaching the sails. Here's a typical sail color: I can't make a scan because I don't have a scanner... Buuuut, check our sail library ;-) I got everything you want and more...

You did a good job modifying this Black Seas Barracuda! Those guns in the front of the ship look really good. And you have an interesting crew on this ship.

This looks like a very seaworth vessel! I suggest to take some pics in daylight (in the garden for example). Then we can better see all the details of this fine pirate ship.

It an upgrade, but it's still ongoing. I plan to replace the sails by cotton versions and reduce the amount of sails so it's more realistic for a frigate like this one. I started on this today, but I fear it will take some time before I finish this successful. Ah, good advise! I'll check some pictures on the internet to see what you mean. EDIT: I'm working on the sails and I'm playing around with the position of the spares (is that the correct term for those beams connecting the sails?).
