I would love to see some more pictures of this MOC. Especially some from the top and some close ups (also of the internal). It's a remarkable building. I like the way it is build on rocks. Maybe you could add a bit more vegetation (or a small tree) on those rocks, but those are just details. Definitely one of the better castle MOCs !!

Review: 7622 Indiana Jones - Race For the Stolen Treasure
Bonaparte replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks Doc! Is this your first review? You did a hell of a job. This set looks very decent. Non to little <insert that tiresome argument> partes. TLC is learning... Two military vehicles, a horse and 4 figs... that's all we want from a set. -
It's amazing how big this ship is. Now only is it big, it's also very good looking. But I think it will take some time to get everything ready...

He was asking annoying questions X-D Let's get back to discussing the game and not the person!

Who's mail? My mail? *wacko* I don't understand. Can you explain what you mean?
-
I can't believe the amount of pictures that are in this review :-D Scrolling through the pics, it feels like I'm building this myself. Great detail! An asymmetrical ship... looks a bit strange. I don't remember this one from the movies 8-|

Looks awesome! I would also be interested to know where you got that button. And can you show how that is attached exactly to the minifig?
-
Who do we have here? Hairy Ruben. Where have you been lately? ;-) So Phred, how is this project of yours going?

The 80's still is the best period for me. Lego released their best castle and space sets ever. And in '89 we got the first wave of pirate sets (including the Black Seas Barracuda). 80's all the way!

Happy Birthday!!!

I think it is *wub* If I had the money, I would certainly order this one once it is finished.

Please have a good look at the new descriptions of all the forums. That should make it clear where your specific MOC has to go. In case you are not sure where your MOC belongs, leave a message in this thread or PM a mod or admin. Edit: Cross-posted with Hinckley. Things should be triple clear by now for everyone :-)

You can go ahead, but we'll only pin it when it's complete and well structured. There is no need to include any Pirate customs since we already have the great pirate torso LIBRARY which is maintained by Mr. Tiber. That one is an overview of indexes, tutorials, ... ;-)

It's good you have arrived here ;-) Welcome to Eurobricks!!

After almost one year sorting bricks...
Bonaparte replied to Bonaparte's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks! Yep, it took about a year. Each day a little bit. These are bricks only. I just added this to the first post: Everything is sorted per color with 4 subdivisions for each color (plates, 1 x X, 2 x X and all the rest). Also I've separated tiles, wedges, grey technic, black technics, vegetations, minifigs, armies, wheels, ... . Sets are stored a bit everywhere like in the basement, my room. The big Star Wars sets like Imperial Star Destroyer and Rebel Blockade Runner had to go to my grandmother because lack of space :-/ First thing I'll do is participate in that fantastic ship building contest of Captain Green Hair that starts on the 1st of January. -
About 1 year ago I stopped all my MOCing activities. I didn't want to search anymore for bricks in my unsorted boxes. So I've been using a lot of my spare time to sort... bricks. After 1 year of sorting I'm finally finished. Here are some pictures showing the result of all these long nights sorting bricks. Now I can finally start MOCing again !! Btw, this thread is not about the storage containers because I don't want to merge it with the storage containers thread :-) Everything is sorted per color with 4 subdivisions for each color (plates, 1 x X, 2 x X and all the rest). Also I've separated tiles, wedges, grey technic, black technics, vegetations, minifigs, armies, wheels, ...

Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Lost Skulls
Bonaparte replied to DoubleT's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I'm so waiting for this movie. I'll do an Indiana Jones marathon with the old movies before going to see this one. That poster looks extremely promising! -
I can't wait to get my hands on these impulse sets. Thanks for posting the picture!

Yes, I'll use it on a small box full of white (yellowed) bricks. I wish I knew a faster way. Maybe by changing the fluid every couple of days. For making it faster I need something stronger... and more dangerous *skull* I've seen no signs of that. But I'll have a closer look the next time I take some pictures.
