Often I see members writing 1 word when commenting on a MOC or review. Example: "Cool!". Well, if "Cool!" is all someone can manage to write as a comment, then there is no place for this member on an adult community like Eurobricks. That's the meaning behind what I wrote. So from now on, writing only "cool" is not "cool" anymore and will get you kicked under the butt and locked in lonely place :skull:

I'm OK with you guys asking questions here. Better ask now if something is unclear I've got no problem with typo's from time to time. That's why there is no reference to typo's in my post. LOL and JK are generally used on internet boards. But too much in 1 post is not acceptable. It's "I've and I'm" Thanks for letting me know. Now that's fixed Glad you agree Yes, it was time for doing this. I'm all for giving everyone a second chance, so this is it. But starting from now (all look at the time of my initial post) the rules written will apply and the staff and myself will take swift actions against everyone who's not following them.

Lately, while visiting our Star Wars forum, I've notice the maturity level might have dropped a bit. This is still a forum for a mature and adult audience and I'm going to ask everyone to do the following: 1. All posts should use capital letters and punctuation (things like , . ! ? " ' ;) where appropriate. Example: hi i really like this set --> Should be: Hi, I really like this set. 2. Don't just post 1 sentence, but try to write at least 4 or 5 well structured sentences while posting. 3. Don't use a lot of smileys while posting. 4. Be friendly and give constructive criticism. 5. Stay on-topic 6. Think before you post. Follow these guidelines and adjust your behavior if needed. Now that these guidelines are shared, myself and the staff won't hesitate to remove those who don't follow them! - Bonaparte

Jim Butcher, this is how a review should be done! Really, great job with this. Clear pictures showing the set from all angles, good comprehensive text well written, ... . I'm glad to see a new generation of great reviewers has arrived. Keep them coming!

7673 Magna Guard Starfighter Review
Bonaparte replied to Dark Sword Ragnarok's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Fantastic review! It's very in-depth and I love it. I hope we'll see more reviews from you -
Jim Butcher did a review on the 7676 Republic Attack Gunship and Dark Sword Ragnarok made a very in-depth review of the 7673 Magna Guard Starfighter. Also check our Town Forum where TheBrickster and Whitefang are releasing city reviews on a daily basis. Pirate fans, check out our latest pictorial review of 6279 Skull Island by Metalandi.

Happy Birthday! Thanks Dunamis for spoiling us with all these great reviews of yours

Sure, just check the first post of this thread There was a small problem with some of the links, but I've fixed that now.

Mister Phes was spending a lot of his time on Eurobricks on matters that are not directly linked with the Pirate forum. He wanted to refocus on Pirates. To help him avoid being distracted from pirates he's restricted to the pirates forum and the Eurobricks headlines. This is on his own request! And being an admin he can change his viewing permissions at any time should he choose to do so. I hope this clarifies this mystery

Why are Pirate LEGO UK eBay Auctions so darn cheap?
Bonaparte replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
No, I only bought this. Was it offered by the same seller? Any idea for what price it was sold? -
Why are Pirate LEGO UK eBay Auctions so darn cheap?
Bonaparte replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Maybe because it's a small country and people prefer to buy in their own countries. Yesterday I was able to buy a 6280 Armada Flagship for 21 euro's in Belgium. -
Right! And this tutorial explains you how "deeplinking" is done: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18451

It was also for me a childhood dream to get the BSB when I came out of my dark ages. My next step was to make an improved version of this ship, but eventually I ended up building something completely new from scratch. Anyway, congrats with getting this wonderful set! I'm looking forward to see the MOC's you'll be making with it's pieces.

I'm more in love with the figs than with this ship itself. But I should be careful because I never had my hands on this ship. It's the only pirate ship that isn't a part of my collection. However, that will change because I was able to buy one on eBay today (for an excellent price of 21 euro). As soon as it has arrived and build I'll be able to share more thoughts on this vessel. I'm more than excited about this newest addition to my collection since these will be my very first Imperial Armada figs.

It's no longer a secret what's inside this box. Discuss here.

Thanks for this review! I've moved it to the Star Wars forum. Would it be possible to add some more pictures?

A true masterpiece . I like some many things about this ship. First of all, the color schema works perfect and it's got a fantastic looking thumblehome effect. The ship seen from the sides look great (colors + thumblehome). Also, this ship has lots of details that I like. I've got some questions for you - How much hull mid sections did you use? - Does the ship have an interior? - Did you make some kind of hatch for the crew to move to the gun deck? - Most important: Can you take some extra pictures? I would love to see one of the stern of this ship. I can't see that in any of these pics.

I can see that from the way you post. But remember that Eurobricks is not a chat board, so you should take enough time when you post something. Writing a decent structured post is something totally different from the one-liners used in chat conversation. Same goes for the excessive use of emoticons. Remember these "guidelines" and you'll have a great time on Eurobricks

Welcome Captain! Since this is a site for an adult audience I would like to ask you to use captials and reading signs in your posts. So "hi im new here my name is capn black pancake (obviously) capn panny for short" should be "Hi, I'm new here. My name is Capn Black Pancake (obviously). Capn Panny for short."

Yes, I'll be using the tall slopes for the tumble home. I ordered them in the US, so I hope it doesn't take too long for them to arrive. Cat heads? What's that Mr. Norrington?

It seems like this is a never ending project. The ship's got "real" sails by now. I used the procedure of white sheets in coffee to get the right color. However, I'm not happy with how the sides of the ship look. I like the red and black schema, but the red banner should he at the same height as the cannons. So today I ordered a bunch of bricks on bricklink.com to improve the looks of this ship. Besides the sides, also the standard bow and stern piece will be change from this into this:

This is a very effective teaser. It reveals something, but not enough to get a good idea about how everything fits together. It certainly had the desired effect on me! Can't wait to see more!! PS: I resized the first picture to a width of 800 pixels.
