  1. 5150 Lego You can buy whatever you want, and I don´t think that the purchase of some MB sets would affect your love to LEGO that much at all. There´re only a few MB sets in the TRU I visit mostly, but I once glanced at a helicopter from their Probuilder line I guess too. I thought it could be interesting to use that special cockpit piece for a MOC. However, in the end I decided that I would prefer to put the money rather in more LEGO...
  2. I´ve no problems to think that these seemingly contrastive points of view´re in the end two sides of the same coin. Money might be the fuel for the motor of society, but it still needs a driver to adopt a course. And it´s not without any reason that human beings need some ethic and moral. And imagination. It would be a little hard for most companies to market their products without considering the manifold aspects of human nature anyways, and of course they need to calculate precisely to make profit to keep things running as well. Beside this, LEGO´s still a construction toy, so the imaginative interests of their clientele was part of the business strategy right from the start. To examine the conflict orientated nature of so many LEGO lines it just needs to look at the functionality and the diverse mechanism of child´s play. Thanks for that very informative link, Eilif! I really hope that PowerMiners´ll become an interesting and well designed new line, no matter how long it´ll last. And I really hope they won´t, on their journey into the underground, bury out my dead and gone MarsMission Jellies...

A very nice ship in an unusual but well working color scheme. You used the MF legs in a pretty original way too, clever!
  4. That´s a nice and original work. It looks like a very fine and atmospherical scenery for an interesting story too!
  5. A nice looking smaller ship that is, and the color scheme fits well.
  6. A very good looking site, well done. Congrats!
  7. Nice looking cannons, and the speeder looks pretty solid and smooth. The jeep looks very stylish with these nice trans clear mudguards, and the little flyer´s sweet.
  8. You really did two pretty lively action orientated sceneries here, very nice!
  9. Thanks for that good review, ~VBBN~. That´s really a fine and pretty solid looking mecha. I think that the designers did a good job on this last wave of EF sets, and the inclusion of these mini robots was also a pretty smart idea!
  10. That´s really a sweet and charming little Technic set, thanks for that fine review!
  11. That´s a very creative gunship indeed, and the battle scenery´s also very original. Nicely done! And yes, usually we prefer the pics here to be not larger than 800x600. If you could need some helpful tutorials, look here.
  12. Very interesting, and very hard to vote... both sets´re very well designed. In the end, it´s 6374 Holiday Home for me... the overall concept looks a tad more comely to me.
  13. One of the best battlement sceneries I´ve ever seen. From the fine landscaping to the lively placing of the MF characters to the awesome amount of creative details like the way you did the flames on the roof or the lovely kerchief of the slave nurse.
  14. An exhaustive work in a great color scheme! The design´s very detailed and smart, and even the back looks very interesting. Both weapons fit very nicely too, and the chrome highlights´re really fine. An impressive MOC!
  15. That´s a colorful and interesting story and a pretty lively scenery too. I like especially the nice and cozy looking house of the Captain, and the nifty and scary skeleton newel stairs.
  16. That new line sounds interesting to me. I wonder if this should become the suspected more story driven theme. If this is so, I hope it´ll be schemed a little different to EF, without all these permanent repitition in its set conception. You did it well. I made the mistake to imagine this, for one second, as a mix of Power Rangers and Snow White. *shudder* In the last two years I sometimes think that TLC is its own strongest competitor, with just to many good lines at the same time. However, I don´t think that every line needs to last for more than a year. Short living themes can bring in some fresh air, and at least some interesting MFs... In the end, I guess, it´s all about set design. I´m pretty curious.
  17. A very cool little army builder and nice little set indeed. Bows and quivers´re always welcome! Thanks for the review, Cardinal Brick!
  18. A very fine set indeed and something at least a little different to the more usual City sets. Sweet! And it could even be a little sweeter to me with car doors... well, nevermind. Thanks for that very nice review, ~VBBN~!
  19. A very original and perhaps even a little weird design indeed, but nice and creative for sure! Thanks for that good review!
  20. A very charming design, pretty retro, somehow, and really cool. The color scheme, I don´t know... especially the last series of EF models´re pretty colorful... Maybe some white, blue, red or yellow for the good ones? Or some more black, lime green and grey for the baddies? Do you scheme some kind of turret for it too?
  21. A wonderful set and a really charming design, well detailed and pretty smooth at the same time. Perhaps that small gap at the cockpit´s an a little weak point, but we can always MOD a little. Thanks for that very neat review, Cardinal Brick!
  22. A very interesting and nice design indeed, and a very fine review too. Thanks!
  23. Thank you for that very detailed and fine review, um, baby! You showed off all the features of that tank in a really good and informative manner. The set looks indeed better to me now than I thought at first hand.
  24. A pretty detailed design in a very fresh color scheme. A charming work indeed!
  25. A sleek design indeed and especially adorable in size and proportion.
