Thank you for that fine review, TheBrickster! I really like how this two small sets create an intense and adventurous atmosphere against the backdrop of a pretty exotic region. The sets´re well designed and very nice with a fine amount of rather unique and well fitting gear. The whole theme offers a lot of playability in a set-up that´s a little different to TLC´s standard sceneries for sure. And... it always reminded me of 'Who Goes There?', too...

A neat little tank, and once more I especially like the nice way you managed to make fairly small cockpits in a way that still allows to host some MFs.

An interesting fighter in a pretty original shape. Maybe the wings look a little to weak to carry these heavy engines, though...

Na, it was some kind of military attack helicopter, but the one you mentioned sounds also pretty interesting. There´re some people outside who´re really making some very fine MOCs with a certain use of non-LEGO pieces, and why not? It´s a construction toy in the end, and if someone wants to receive a certain look for a model by combining elements from different brands I sense no problem. It´s the building fun that counts, and I´m a LEGO fan because TLC serves my needs on that matter the best. I´m pretty sure that using some other parts from time to time, if I think it could work out well, wouldn´t change this at all...

It´s a pretty nice review, beside a few blurry pictures, thanks Trudop561. I don´t think that just a single standardized form of reviews is the only way to go... there´s for sure room for more than one style. I, personally, don´t need a poll or a rating system par example at all. Some informative pics, an accurate description and someone´s personal point of view about the strong and perhaps weak features of a set´ll do the job for me.

So I guess my innuendo didn´t work that well... It´s a matter of taste, but the style of the front section seems not to fit in with the rest of it...

Thanks for that very nice review, Erdbeereis1. It´s great to see some other City sets beside the usual hospital, police and firefighter mayhem, and this is a really nice little one. Now give me some car doors and a Kevin Costner-like MF and I´m a happy camper indeed, TLC...

I´ve no idea what kind of pieces´re available in that color with LDD... beside this, it´s always much easier for me to try different combinations/variations with real bricks to make up my mind...
